I use that file you linked and the file from the download page here and let the file from the download page that is here overwrite BAC and BAC HDT-SMP Conversion. My tail moves.

Can you give the exact names of the files ? Those which i think you mean did not work :/

Nevermind i disabled "Being a Cow - Tail HDT-SMP Conversion" and now it works ! hurray :D

So my mod list to make it work was : BAC_Alternate_SE (main download) -> BAC_SE_TAIL_HDT-SMP (main download) -> bac_alternate_tail_fix

but i don't remember where i got the last one from.

For future reference, the tail works with just the BAC SE tail HDT-SMP.7z file in the download page of this mod. If it doesn't then you're missing something from somewhere else, not from this mod nor any patch to make it work, or you made a mistake while installing (like installing something you didn't need to which messes up the actual files).

But I do wish there was a solution for the texture. I think it's because the nif optimizers that port the tail to SE mess something on the tip and just forget the tip's supposed to mimic the character's hair color. Would appreciate if someone that knows how to work this thing properly ports the tail to SE so the texture works the way it should.

Looks like the texture got folded somehow.  The reason could be anything from SlaveTats [version] to your chosen body replacer (is it UNP? The tats were origninally made for CBBE) to Skyrim itself (SE vs. LE), The tats are LE tats (BC3). If you are on SE, you might want to convert them to BC7 tats.

Yes, this is a UNP body, can I somehow convert it to UNP ? This LE ver.

Try player.removefromfaction xx013632 (xx = BAC load order id) in the console, the update your cow via MCM.

...and you made sure it's all there in data\textures\actors\character\slavetats\bac? I didn't upload any new fur tats package since 1.9F, there are no changes. And the others are in the bsa - perhaps it works with unpacked version or loose files?

I can confirm this issue exists. I followed your tip and installed the loose files version and it solved the issue for me.

on LE?

Well, all tats are applied via NiOverride.AddNodeOverrideString( ). Maybe that is unable to find packed textures?

Recently moved onto SE, so a question:
Does the latest version "bac_alternate_1.9H.7z" works for it as well, or there isn't a SE version yet? :)

no, wait for conversion

I think, NiOverride doesn't look into archives. You could try adding bac.bsa to sResourceArchiveList in Skyrim.ini [Archive] section, but no guarantee this works.

According to the MCM, I'm at 20% progression. But now it isn't going up anymore, with the number in red. What gives?

Also, after feeding on plants there is a message to look for a spot to ruminate. However, nothing happens when I go to a remote area. Is that message simply fluff or am I missing something?

But also: Cool mod, good job!

Hey there, I've tried this command and update, but it didn't work...

@botticelli How does "bac__quest_Good_001_GiveMeBreastTopicTopic" work? Is it supposed to trigger a sex animation? If so: which? Because if I say yes, after Paul says "Perfect. Strip yourself." absolutely nothing happens. I can just keep talking to him and repeat that dialogue until I give up and just refuse to fail the quest and get a punishment.

It takes milking of N * D units of milk for the next stage N with D being the difficulty Ultra = 1, Fast = 2, Medium = 3, and Slow = 4.

That ruminate text is just fluff.

Okay, exacly which tats are we talking about? Those reading "Milk Cow 32" or those reading "Slave Cow"?

This is supposed to start a breastfeeding animation with Paul. So it needs a sex animation tagged "breastfeeding". But, I'll admit since I always end up doing the evil quests, I haven't tested that one. I starts at end of dialogue meaning if you exit the dialogue by yourself, it won't start. Also it uses SexLab.PlayerRef for the player object which I'm not sure if that's correctly bound before starting the animation. If it won't start, setstage it to 200.

Look, I'm a giraffe now! ?

With the latest Mootatations, I really think we need different walking animations, cow's shouldn't be skyscrapers (although it makes sense).

For some reason my PC turns purple when I start the the quest up and says I need a 13 slot body instead of 12. Been using same body. Is there a prebuild I need to get?

Sounds like a SlaveTat issue. Did you follow the instructions to edit your SlaveTat ini files in order to give BAC the slots it needs?
