It sucks when you work on something with a fetish you like but is relatively niche. That said I don't really think people should dunk on you for it. It's just different stuff for different people.

 

As for the guide, it'd be a resource too. Right now it's somewhat of a hassle for people to try and learn everything, but it'd help in the long run if you're able to get around to it. I'm sure the HPN mod will get ported over to MH Rise eventually and that'll be another body option in the future and anything else that crops up.

People should just try to keep a level head and don't expect modders to fulfil their requests, but you can still ask nicely.

Yea generally its kinda a overall feeling within the author community that when someone has a "request" its more or less read as "Unpaid Work".
I fufill requests if its something i genuinely feel is interesting or fun to do. But overall i do the work i want to do myself either from the perspective of it being fun to work on or that its something i had not thought off that i find interesting.
Like some of us do have patreons and stuff with supporters. But overall it pales in comparison to how much model work normally costs/pays out. So its borderline is almost unpaid labor already.

And most of those supporters tend to probably be more happy with more content than a bunch of hyperfocused options only a small group of people enjoy.
I hold high respect for those who goes out of their way to do so, Such as Gradashy with all the countless optional files.
Just the organisation is a freaking nightmare haha.

On the Mega stuff i dont mind, Its very much a fetish so i really dont hold much of a ill feeling that its not up peoples alley, its to be expected.
the Resource pack however i spent basically 2-3 weeks making for the sake of stuff completely out of my own interests.
I could have quickly just ported my old models and called it a day but went back and reworked them all with updated textures, UV's and especially the topology to be good to work on from a Modders perspective.

And while yes, i need to have a size in between Busty and Small bust. But aside from that its not like its some insane Fetish thing to be honest.

And yea, HPN will very likely come to MHR, i'd be surprised otherwise given i have already been helping Friccirf with some questsions they have had.

I personally dont like the HIgh poly for high poly's sake since its just as i said about the 3D pubes and the bikini model. It causes a lot of strain on computation for no real visual benefit.
And from a modders perspective the topology and mesh info on High poly stuff is MUCH MUCH harder to work on.
Hence the reason behind the resource pack. Given i am a person that normally helps out and teaches how to mod in the past. The amount of problems those models has caused is insane. That i later then have to sit around and help solve despite really not gaining anything from it. Neither in terms of notability or overall fame among the community.

Despite having spent countless hours in IB to help others learn modding. To most i am just that one "weird fetish modder".

Also to actually finish off the topic of info.
Yes its a bit of a hassle, i've spent 2 good full weeks just researching this stuff and im still not done yet learning it all.
I still need to figure out the minor stuff as with how the converter handles specific material stuff

Well when you manage to learn as much as you get I hope you manage to write it down. I'd like to eventually try my hand at a series of sexy mods. Aside from model stuff, especially the chain/physics stuff.

I've already posted the main stuff on the Discord in relation to the physics controls. You are more than welcome to just grab my physics presets off my mod and alter them to test the stuff i wrote down there.

I may put them in a proper guide later on.
Thing is i dont want to overpost the same thing on several different places in case i learn something important and need to edit it.
Not too keen on editing things on like 5 different places.

You could always just make a google doc and post the link around? There's no real reason to need to keep track of posts in multiple places.

Except to maintain that it would also basically Doxx me.
So yea, not too fond of doing that as of right now.

And even if i make a separate account only to post the document, i would still have to swap my accounts every time i need to update or adjust anything otherwise i accidently doxx myself once again. So yea, not my favorite solution of them to be honest.

May be something in the future i can sort out but for now there isn't a easy solution that does not detract from myself making my own work which also leads to figuring this out better too.

Well you could always just make the doc, convert it to pdf or something and host it on a mega. I mean, I don't mean to harp on it or you. I'm sure somebody will make one eventually just there's way to do it without risking yourself, that's all. There's just no centralized tutorials for Rise specifically on the discord atm aside from the rise wiki, which only has tools and ids atm.

NPCs only have whole body, hair, and head models. You should have gotten the whole body. Did you extract them from npc_102 and npc_002? They should be there.

 

If you mean you're trying to use the kjkj bodies for NPCs, I think you have merge all the separated pieces into a single mesh, since again, NPCs use a whole body.

Thank you, took an insane amount of work to get done. And as someone who doesn't even use nude mods it wasnt even made for myself at all.
I already even replaced the mod used for the nudity in my own game so i cant even see it myself as i had no interest in running around nude.
Made my own Kamura outfit


But that being said, i see personally little reason to adjust stuff like longer nipples etc since its minor changes anyone can do on their own even if they barely know what 3D is.
Just download the software, mark the nipples. Pull out. Done.

And since its resources anyone could then just straight up post them to nexus as they wanted.

 

 

If i make one it will be clothed. As i expressed above i am personally not a fan of nudity in games. The nude mod was the exception and took me a full on 1.5 years to cave and make.
Im chill with stuff like nip slips kind off as can be seen on the kamura armor


But anything past that and i tend to prefer not to do it.
 

 

I'm sorry, that must mean that the games uses seperate texture types.

Which means in order for my Nude mod to work on switch you would have to go into the mod and convert around the textures.
I can have a look at this tbh. Since I can possibly support Switch mods on that one armor but none of the others i make will do so.

Supporting two platforms would be crazy. Whole reason i killed off busty and Kilo and small sizes was because managing several different skews is a pain in the ass and extremely time consuming.

Not to mention everyone is often ungrateful and often just asks for more "variations/optionals" etc in a demanding way without even endorsing.

which mod? im pretty sure that one is on nexus.

also btw this isnt how its supposed to work, users on LL are supposed to upload mods in a specific section instead of randomly posting them in the thread which makes everything very hard to find and unorganized… works for bigger games, apparently not for more niche ones, im not sure if there are technical reasons for this or users just "dont get it" (i suppose the latter)

That is my mod, so if anyone happen to have it its either Patrons of mine or friends i trust not to share the files until its done.
So i genuinely hope nobody is DM'ing anyone any of my WIP stuff.
As much as i'd like to share it right away, i do kinda want my stuff to reach a certain level of quality before i go and share it and as of right now sadly my kamura outfit is just not fully there yet.

As its still being worked on. Its like 90% done, i need to fix clipping and physics though before it goes up on nexus.
All my mods end up on nexus for free by the end.
The nude mod which is a requirement is already out on nexus.

I need to update that prior to being able to upload this one.
Just been hard at work making sure we can unlink the physics limitations of the game.

Yea i have given it to two streamers as of right now who were showcasing my original Rakna Kadaki mod. As its not only rare i find people willing to showcase it but also genuinely enjoy and like using them. Not just to meme on my work.

So when i find people like that i like to show my own appreciation.

Not sure if im allowed to link things that may feel like advertisements (hence why i never have linked my own nexus page) here but the two streamers in question is Gaz Acantha and Glazegummy. If anyone ends up wanting to see the mods in action.
