Veteranewbie Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 First time poster here Thanks PsychoMachina for all the hard work to create this awesome race mod so I can finally create a loli dovakhiin On the other hand, I notice that the face for Monli male is as rugged as the nord/imperial adult race, making it impossible for me to create a young looking hero So here is my small request - is it possible for the next update of Monli to contain better looking and more youthful/less rugged male face?

Monli Male-CME Save 21.7z Extract and drop the folder in your Documents folder. Start your game and bring up showracemenu then under the BODY category, scroll to the slots slider and choose #21. If you have any textures for young males, just install them in TEXTURES > ACTORS > CHARACTER > MONLI > MALE and allow the new files to overwrite the old. If you want them more boy-ish, I'll see what can be done.

If you want them more boy-ish, I'll see what can be done. Thanks for the quick response Psycho, although your sample is much younger than the Vanilla male, it still seems too old for a Monli. The male sample appears to be more like a young adult, which I can achieve by using the race Young Nord that comes with ECE. Think Link from Legend of Zelda in Ocarina of Time and you would know what I am talking about. I always think Monli should resemble a prepubescent human. I understand that most works were done on the female side so perhaps a great deal of works is required to create a fitting type of male head and body for the Monli. It would be awesome if Monli can be the ultimate race that can be used to create glamorous loli/shota character. Admittedly I only have limited experience in modding and I hope I am not being too demanding.

I still have much to do before releasing a major update so this should allow me the opportunity to find a suitable body for the boy Monli.
IsaIsa Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Hello! I'm completely new to skyrim modding and in need of a little help with the mod! I can't seem to get the Freckled version to work. I installed all the files as described in the first post, but whenever I go to create a new character I get a female which looks very much like a nord female with bright red hair! I also tried to use the Fishnet stockings version to see if it works, and the fishnets don't appear either so I've probably put something in somewhere wrong. I'm using Nexus Mod Manager. I activate the Monli 4.5 mainfile first, followed by the texture pack for the freckles. Is there anything I could be doing wrong? I don't have any other mods that alter apperances either. Thanks alot for the help
kattfin Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Baaaah, The camera is making me crazy. It's to high for the monli race ( can this be fixed? ) In 3rd person it's so high up that you can't barely see the character itself.

Thanks alot for the help Try reinstalling the textures. This also applies to the fishnet option. If that did not work, extract the Monli v2.1 texture pack and locate these 2 folders, 01 Option - Freckles 02 Option - Fishnet Stockings Add the contents of the folders to your Data folder (i.e., within those folders are Texture folders; copy/paste them in your Data folder and allow overwriting if prompted). I uploaded Enhanced 3rd-Person Camera to the Downloader. Installation and basic configuration instructions have been posted in the first post. This will allow you to adjust the 3rd-person camera and works much better than editing the Skyrim INI file.

I'm more interested in whether it fixes the mismatched head and body shading. http://www.mediafire.com/view/k1y1k0ow09n2371/20130106716.jpg Be careful, the body models with some revealing clothes and armors will be darker than the body. There is an easy fix if you know how to use Nifscope. Right now, let me know if this fixes your problem and I'll show you how to edit the clothe's/armor's body model to blend with the Monli body. PsychoMachina Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 Do you have different textures installed for vanilla or custom race other than the Monli? The game might be loading the other texture and not the one for the Monli.

PsychoMachina Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 Can you provide a screenshot of the full body? Use spoilers or send it to me through pm. Use the console commands TFC 1 (freezes everyone in the game) and SUCSM 2 (slows down the speed of the camera; makes zooming in/out easier). After taking the screenshot, type TFC 1 again to unfreeze everyone.

PsychoMachina Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 There is something wrong with the body mesh (for you at least). Here is mine and you can see the body looks paler as is the head. Same SG Textures I sent you. I tweaked the body mesh to emit a little more light thus giving it a lighter appearance. For some reason, it's not happening in your game.

In the daylight, the head and body looks almost like the body of your Monli (less pale), but the head and body still closely matches. Maybe reinstalling your mods might help. Btw, what is that creature to the left of your character? I have SkyMoMod and don't remember seeing that creature. Edited January 7, 2014 by PsychoMachina
