Yeah, Hard Prison Time alter's the script that tells Scrambler to do his thing; so try it without, if you want to get the changes from the newer PG tryout.

So for some reason, despite having installed this, the Legionaries never approach me for sex. I have tried this backwards and forwards. Powdergangers still approach me, so that is still working. I set the Legion approach rate to 100, still nothing. I looked in the console and it said something like Tryout (character) check passed, so it should be working, right? But for whatever reason it doesn't engage.

 

Am I crazy? Am I doing something wrong here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've now run through the initiation 60 times and it crashed every single time, this is not something that is random and will sometimes work. Is there really no solution other than to keep trying? I've tried it with HPt, I've tried it without HPT, I've tried initiating the conversation at different times I've tried disabling most of my other mods and nothing changes. It is incredibl frustrating as prior to the new version of Tryout it worked the first and only time I had used it in my previous playthrough.

Don't know about Loogie, but my suggestion about Hard Prison Time was to the other person.  I have no idea what causes the crash you're getting.  I've never experienced it myself. (knock on wood)

Which folk? Apparently only legionaries in the cove or the fort will actually approach even though approach rolls are still made for other legionaries(like at the raiding camp where the quest booted can be resolved)

Not to accuse you of piracy, but is your version of the game legal? Sometimes that interferes in weird ways no one can predict.

 

Also, have you tried disabling all mods aside from Sexout and things like custom races?

No problem, but it's absolutely a legitimate Steam copy. Bought myself, not even gifted or anything like that.

 

I did yes, except the custom race my character is. I'll try it with a standard race and see if that makes a difference.

 

If I sound grouchy it's just frustration, I really appreciate the work you modders do and this mod in particular is one of my favourites so please don't think I'm being critical.

There's no way to tell what someone who distributed a cracked version could have done to the game. There's been several times people have had unreproducible errors and it turns out they have a pirated copy. Legitimate copy? No errors.

 

I once had a cracked version of Fallout 3 where I would randomly fall through the ground.  I had another game I pirated and later bought the retail version of where everything was choppy in the pirate copy and everything was smooth in the retail copy.

A lot of cracked versions are also based on early releases of the game missing important bugfixes so as Loogie said you can get weird issues.

So I tried it with all mods but Sexout turned off and again with everything back on bar the custom race just to see and no change, it still crashes at the same point.

 

Edit: I don't believe it, I tried it one last time with nothing changes from a previous failed attempt and it worked. 66th time is the charm I guess.

Loving Tryout, just wondering if there is currently any punishment activated for freelancing, the sexout working girl description indicates there is, the future plans and my own play experience so far indicate that it is currently disabled.

You can freelance inside of casinos, but it's frowned upon and will see you kicked out on a first offense and attacked if you try it again - or (sexually) punished in the Gomorrah or Tops. You can also offer your services to the Bright Brotherhood and also Jacobstown, in addition to random gamblers outside of casinos.

Personally, I'd like to see specific punishments depending on which casino you freelanced in. For instance, the Gomorrah could take you prisoner and have you help 'entertain' at a party in Zoara Club.  The Tops could make you 'perform' on stage (with some of ZAZ's equipment) at the Aces. Not sure about Vault 21... I'm thinking either Sarah bans you from the hotel or you play a high stakes hand of strip poker.

Proposed ideas for Powederganders.esp

I've been thinking of ideas for Goodspring when compacts are using .

After helping compacts, Joe Cobb could tell you enslave all the women of the city.

We have to find collars slave

Then reduce women dressed in Slavery and Slave compacts like NCR Prison .

Then they brought in Joe Cobb that their is a place.

At the end Joe Cobb said that we are like slave others when we are in Goodsprings that means wearing the necklace and clothes when you're in town if not punishment.

Then we could send other slaves Goodsprings .

 

Thereafter it could be the Compacts of the Prison, but also those who hang to abort Primm come.

Sunny and Trudy way that was sent down would return to Goodsprings with another role.

 

It could also be a resolution to the quest with boone and instead of killing the manageress could be sent to the Goodsprings .

 

This solution could also view one is slave compacts Goodsprings be brought to be sold.

 

Do something with Chet could also be interested in the sale of a slave or something good, a pimp can be too.

Après avoir aider les poudriers, Joe Cobb pourrait vous dire de réduire en esclavage toutes les femmes de la ville.

On devrai trouver des colliers d'esclave

Ensuite réduire les femmes en Esclavages et les habillée en esclave des poudriers comme dans NCR Prison.

Ensuite on les amène à Joe cobb qui leurs trouve une place.

A la fin Joe Cobb nous dit que nous sommes esclave comme les autres des lors que nous sommes à Goodsprings ce qui veut dire porter le collier et les vetements quand on est dans la ville sinon punition.

On pourrait ensuite envoyer d'autres esclaves à Goodsprings.

 

Par la suite on pourrait faire venir les Poudriers de la Prison, mais aussi ceux qui trainent au abort de Primm.

Comme ça Sunny et Trudy que l'on a envoyé la bas serait de retour à goodsprings avec un autre rôle.

 

Il pourrait egalement y avoir une résolution pour la quete avec boone et au lieu de tuer la gerante on pourrait l'envoyée à goodsprings.

 

Cette solution pourrait aussi vue que l'on est aussi esclave des poudriers à goodsprings etre amenée à etre vendue.

 

Faire quelque chose aussi avec Chet qui pourrait etre interessé par la vente d'esclave ou autre chose de bien, un proxènete peut etre aussi.

If you side with the PowederGangers and take over Goodsprings, you could turn it into another version of Vault 19, but with Cobb in charge instead of Epstein.  Sunny and Trudy would become sex slaves, along with certain NPCs you might find, such as the receptionist in Novac.  Re-doable side quests could involve you taking one of the girls to either the NCRCF or Primm to "entertain" their new masters, before either being returned to Goodsprings, or perhaps even permanently based there.

not sure if anyone's reported this before, but one bug with the Fiends:

 

If you attack Cook Cook his slave will free herself and turn hostile to you.

 

 

 

On that note, it would be nice to see more slaves for the fiends and powder gangers if you choose to go the rescuer route.

Not sure if this has been reported or fixed (again, I haven't updated yet because I'm trying to finish the playthrough I'm on), but I ran into a bug with WorkingGirl last night. I was trying to break the bank with Blackjack at Gomorrah, but whenever I went over one of the winnings thresholds, the Floor Manager gave me the "so you want to work for us?" dialogue instead of the rewards for winning a large number of chips.

Personally, I think it would work better if there were a unique, named floor manager to speak to for WorkingGirl rather than messing with the vanilla Floor Managers...

I don't know if it is just this one but I have everything installed correctly but when you have sex, the first time works nicely but it crashes after the animations for a second sex initiation ends. Say you successfully do it with betsy or something, then any other trooper after that one causes CTD after the animation ends.

I haven't had this issue. I had some issues with the "parties" at the various bases not getting marked as being done but not ctd with the animations. I however was using an older version of Tryouts not the current one.

 

I would suggest that you post the load order just in case there is something wrong with the order. Also reinstall the proper NVSE and the NVSE extender just in case something went wrong with either of those. In my experience that usually was the cause of most animation issues. The version mentioned in BruceWaynes tutorial (link in sig)

 

That of course if if the current users, developers aren't having issues with this quest as well. Best of luck, if I run into anything else to suggest or think of any thing else I will let you know.

 

Yes I could of mentioned this in the other thread.. Sorry, I didn't want to post things in her post in case she would mind. Besides this is the best place for this anyway.

 

The NVSE and Extender will make sure that your backbone is correct eliminating those issues. The load order will help them understand what is going on and perhaps give better guidance. Besides make it easier for them to help diag your issue. Who knows perhaps it can help fix the issue. Oh, Try going back to a previous save before and then trying the quest again and see if it still gives the issue. Might be a bad save.

 

The above should keep you busy with something to help resolve the issue until one of the Tryout experts can chime in if needed.
