lordofthedread Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 From my understanding the project was canned because the author realised how much work was needed and also discouraged by possible copyright issues. Too bad because I really think CBBE is a relic for the past and UNP is a better base IMHO. Thus said, since I dont mod, and like anyone that lurks only here should start to do, I refrain from judging what others are doing or not and appreciate when something gets done. in short if you want something to be done quicker, just learn to do it yourself but judging / ranting / putting pressure on modders wont get you anywhere.
Endiness Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Quickly skimming through, MasterAaran sent an email to Arduino for permission to use his product. There has not been a reply saying whether or not he got a response back from Arduino, or even what it was. MasterAaran's posted here saying he also wrote an email to Karina, who did some free genital props for V4, and had given permission to use it in the response. From the looks of things, Aegis would have to start over.
Aegis Posted June 25, 2013 Author Posted June 25, 2013 If anything, it's really my fault for being lazy and not wanting to make everything from scratch. I'm really glad that others have decided to take over this project, as I would hate to see this opportunity go to waste. I will update the other *active* thread in a bit with my recent findings while working on this project (rigs, morphs, SSL integration, etc).
LCroft Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 I'm working on the mod but I work a full time job and have other priorities... I work on skyrim modding when I can... I have no problems with that, but another aspect of the situation (touched by me) seemed at least dubious to me. Sorry, if it's not the case... and I'm glad that Aegis hasn't totally canned his project evidently The main point is, Aegis might have never got any legal problems with initial project (because he used resources not some finished work I believe and actually some authors of resources are more than happy to see more people using them in their work,. Yes, he should have given credits... but that's all IMO), but there is always someone (when it comes to almost every project using some third-party resources) who comes in screaming "Plagiarism!" even before analyzing the matter.

I wouldn't really say a relic of the past but it has only half the polygons of UNP so that could be an issue later.
Endiness Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 @LCroft You'll have to let it go. If you easily find taking free "original" works of and selling it on another site (Second Life) at fault, then you'll find the reverse situation at fault as well. The entire product (mesh, textures, and morphs) is $19.50. Would the author care if his/her work is passed around for free? Who knows? It never hurts to ask. Just assuming people won't mind is quick way to pissing people off.
smittyDX Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 How do I install this mod? I know its technically dead, but I can still install and use it right? NMM doesnt seem to work, so what do I do?
smittyDX Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 you need to add it in your inventory from the console then equip it as a normal item Sorry, I know this is an old post, but what do you type in the console to get it? Thanks.
MasterAaran Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Just going to make a bit of a post in here. Jdods and I took up the mantle of making this mod for CBBE. This is due to the fact that both of us wanted a version for that body in the first place. I do not argue with those that enjoy and want to use UNP, and in fact I have considered switching to UNP myself in the past. I know that people say it's a higher quality model, and indeed it probably is. However, my reasons for wanting a CBBE version were because it's the one that I use. When I considered switching to the UNP body shape, I took a good look between the two and I just don't care for the UNP version as much. Plus, I don't relish the task of having to download and install/uninstall a whole boatload of mods to get it all back to how I want it. Therein lies the reasons for my decision. As for updates to our mod, as I posted in our thread yesterday, both Jdods and I have other obligations on our time, so we work on it when we can. Often times I don't have much free time during the day, so my modding is restricted to a few hours at night....and by that point I would rather play than create.... Doesn't mean that it's dead.....Just my two cents... Aaran
glass smasher Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I also prefer CBBC, but when BodyChange just recently came out, it made is so i could switch to any body i want, when I want, in game. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37546 I can now use both CBBE and UNP outfits without having to have a large mod juggle.
Azzariel Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I'm sorry for this question (I'm probably dumb) but after install this mod, when I type "Help genitalia" in the console, nothing happen... (only the error message)
Aegis Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 @everyone This mod is no longer supported, please refer to MasterAaran's official thread for this project: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/18250-wip-realistic-genitalia-for-cbbe/?hl=genitalia @mods: Please lock this topic.
Lo0py Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 I would be very interested in taking over, though my time is limited and so it would be slow going. It was mentioned by jdods13 that the texture used belonged to Arduino's V4-WG product for poser/Daz Studio. I took the liberty of sending Arduino a message through the contact form on his site, to see his feelings on his product being used in video game modifications. Here's the message I sent: "Arduino, I'm writing to contact you in regards to a question on the usage of one of your products. I belong to a group of individuals that are involved in producing user created modifications (mods) for the game, "Skyrim". One of our modders has been working on enhancing the in-game looks of the female characters, and we are interested in using the textures/meshes from your "V4-WG" content for Poser/Daz studio. I do not know what sort of license you have on the product, regarding it's use outside of poser/daz studio, and how you feel regarding it's use in video games. If you could let me know, that would be appreciated. Regards, Aaran" We'll see what he says. If you are going to take over this, could you please make it compatible with CBBE? would be great, thanks

That was MONTHS ago, do you suppose the project might not be progressing because the response (if any) was not a positive one? Did you miss the other thread where they are working on a CBBE version without using copyright protected works?
javloverz Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 7/24/13: Redirect Should have updated this thread ages ago. MasterAaran and Jdods13 have graciously taken over this project. Please follow the official thread: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/18250-wip-realistic-genitalia-for-cbbe/ Contents of this thread are outdated and no longer supported. Thank you. 6/12/13: Project cancelled. This project has been cancelled to avoid any potential legal complications. As jdods13 has pointed out, some of the assets utilized in this mod, especially the texture set included in the planned update, are not my own. As such, in order to prevent any possible legal issues for myself, and for LL, I have decided to cancel all future releases. Everyone is welcome to take over this mod, no permission necessary, and I'm more than happy to provide assistance regarding modeling/animations/morphs/choreography - drop me a PM. Lastly, I would like to thank everyone for giving me such amazing encouragement and support, and I'm sorry that I couldn't see it through. -A ==================== I have always been bugged by the lack of certain *details* with the UNP body, and so here I present a preliminary (and quite arbitrary) solution. For now, the genitalia simply acts as an *attachment* to the UNP/UNPB body, and I have decided to keep the genitalia separate from the body mesh due to the following reasons: 1) Better compatibility with various UNP based armors/outfits, especially the close fitting ones. 2) Modularity, which allows me to apply a separate high quality texture set to the genitalia, and also allows for independent manipulation of various shader parameters, such as specularity (wetness) and emittance. 3) Ease of revision and application. One would not have to re-rig the entire body mesh to update/change the genitalia mesh/textures, and this also makes conversion to other body types much easier. 4) Better potential for future animation implementation - this is especially true due to the limitations imposed on the actor body (1 skeleton, 1 mesh), and keeping the genitalia separate would allow for easier animation work. HOWEVER, This project is far from complete, and I'm not exactly happy with the way the genitalia is currently being implemented (wearing the vagina as a piece of accessory is hardly ideal). I would love to hear some feedback/suggestion as to how this may better be implemented, and though I would like to keep the mod script-free, if there are ways to better implement this mod with the help of scripts, then I'm certainly open to the idea. Please post your suggestions, as I'm currently stuck in a rather pernicious impasse. Thanks. And...last but not least, some screenshots: Pre-render In game render: ============================ Outdated. See MasterAaran's post above. Update 6/10/13: Alpha 1 darker complexion version in post #29 Alpha 1 CBBE compatible mesh in post #32 (many thanks to aravis7) Alpha 2 preview in post #22 Alpha ? preview in post #47 Update 6/9/13: Alpha 1 download link in post #13. Alpha 1 reduced specularity version in post #18. Can you add the vaginal canal? and the texture of wall. I really want make silicon mold from it
Setekh Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Can you add the vaginal canal? and the texture of wall. I really want make silicon mold from it You just replied to a post that's over 3 years old and about a mod that has long been defunct, even says so in the title. Come on man...
omgfmlihatemylife Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Fantastic work, thanks! Helped me out a town
