What happened to SOS SE?

Attempting to reinstall everything on a fresh installation of Skyrim SE (thanks to the update) and Vortex. The link to SOS SE is showing that no file is available. Was this discontinued?

No idea. I was posting a reply in the topic, and got a mesage that the topic didn't exist. It seems to be gone, and any links pointing to it don't work anymore.

Ha. I had just downloaded SOS SE yesterday and was going through today looking for the manual install instructions (the README link points back to the now-deleted thread). I was so close!

 

Was it broken with AE update nonsense? Maybe it's being updated? moved?

 

Also, in revamping my skyrim build for SE, I came across the VectorPlexus website. Certainly seems like there's a lot of resources there but, my god, I cannot navigate their website very well. Makes me feel like I'm an old. Anyway, it looked like there was a lot of crossover between the SAM bodies and SOS. Can someone bring me up to speed on the relationship between the two? I feel like I missed some watershed moment in schlongifying/male-body skyrim mods.

Turns out SOS got updated to not need it's .dll so it could be used in the AE until there's a more official convertion. I'm guessing it couldn't be downloaded anymore because they replaced the .dll version entirely rather than just adding the non-.dll version as an option.

??? The files are still there:

And the non-dll version is found as an attached file in a comment on the thread. This new version looks good, but by no means replaces the existing files (in fact you need SOS 1.1.4 installed to apply that patch on top of it).

Here's Erstam's comment with the update. I didn't pay attention that he wasn't the OP and couldn't upload the patch to SOS SE, so I have no idea why the downloads went on the fritz. Probably was those damned gremlins....
