Well....don't know what to say.

 

It's a bit like moving bits of broken rock around the desk, hoping to make something out of it other than a mess.  Charcoal, burning timbers, broken files... I lost my entire Skyrim set up. Even the broken parts are broken. It won't launch in vanilla or anything.  ?  

 

Oh well. Back to the drawing board. I've got all my mods, and I've got a base game backup. Time to start over. 

That'll teach me to say I've never needed to rebuild my Skyrim SE for some years!!!

DAMN! I am so sorry that happened! Can you peel it back one by one like I did? NetScriptFramework log txt, what did it say? That little file just helped me a few minutes ago.

Now I've managed to discover I had a corrupted Binkw64.dll file, a corrupted Skyrim.exe and some other broken vanilla file. I got all those working from backups, and am back at my infinite loading screen again. I'm now trying to peel back and find the culprit.

I'm surprised you aren't playing HZD. I play other games when I get frustrated with modding. I have a lot of games. Say, do you do flight sims? I am a virtual pilot with over 2000 hours of flight time. I really like Company of Heroes too (NOT COH2!!!). I have it all modded up on my Win 7 machine. 6 mods at the same time. BATTLE!

 

Skyrim: Are you peeling it back or just scrapping the build?

 

Blaze: I used the Sweet Warrior Body preset. I didn't have to make very many slider adjustments to get that. If you want it, I have it (the mod) and WILL send it if you want it. She is YUMMY isn't she? On the next try I want to put a mole on her face like Jennifer has, still trying to figure that out.

 

Modding update: Just finished all location and related mods, working on clothing, jewelry, armor and weapons now.

14,000+ anim's loaded, 211 active and 94 light mods in. No error msg's. So far so good, keep your fingers crossed.

My God! FNIS seems like it takes FOREVER to do it's thing. 14,000 anim's probably slows it down a little. I thought it was a good idea to do them after the SL\DD... etc. were installed, so... mod 140 approx. is when I loaded the anim's. This is a change from my last run, I did them last on that one, I thought it would cut down on FNIS wait time. I did it the hard way this time, wait time wasn't a consideration on this run. A true test of my patience.

I would play HZD, but I have pretty bad osteoarthritis. My hands can only take so much controller work in a game before they seize up. So I play a couple of hours, and maybe take a day's rest. So I didn't play it this evening (UK time). Had a good session on it last night. HZD is rather heavy on the thumbs. (I use a Windows Xbox Controller for play.)  Skyrim is a lot easier on the controller and hands.

 

I really ought to get back into Flight Simulator (FS) and others like it. I used to play them a lot - used to ace the helicopters as I 'got' the cyclic mechanics straight off.  I was considering picking up FS but I'd have to add a joystick to my PC set up and having broke around 12 of them over the years I'm hesitant to bust up another. Heavy handed...lol.

 

Now you've reminded me, I think I'll go FS shopping tomorrow  ?

 

Thanks for the offer of your Blaze character. Oh yes, she is yummy!  I am seriously in awe!  But I'll stick with Yngrid (the pic I posted) even though she's a load of inaccessible pixels on my disk right now.

 

I still haven't solved my infinite load. I'm kind of peeling back right now. But I now know it's a SKSE problem, though I'm unable to track exactly how it is faulting. I'm suspecting it is a combination of mod errors, so it's going to take more time to resolve. I'm determined to find it - good learning for the future.

 

I get the impression your build is coming along really well! Good luck with it!

Falcon 4.0 Allied Force. This game... like... wow. UBER-realistic F-16 flight sim, I think I said this already but I have a brand new X-56 Saitek Rhino HOTAS flight system. 189 programable buttons at the finger tips, OHHH YEEEAAAH! Turn and burn, baby!

 

Yngrid: Thank you for telling me her name. I going to get her for that body randomizer mod I told you about. Not going to use her myself, That seems like some kind of violation to me, playing another person's PC, creepy. Hopefully I can meet her or someone similar in my travels and... well... BANG HER! I have mods, patches and other stuff for Falcon 4 AF too, good shit. I have already tested everything on my other machine. I have it and a mod installed on this machine awaiting my attention right now, but I have got to have my Blaze back.

I have Project Proteous as well for the Zena, Gabby and Jennifer mods so I can actually create them and place them somewhere in my PC's world to find, meet and fuck! YEESSS! I still have yet to discover how to do that, but I will not be denied my chance to see Zena, Gabby and my PC in a... yeah, well, you get the idea.

No. I've given up for the day and will be heading for bed in a moment.

By the way, if you use Charmers of the Reach make sure you disable it if you build a character from that preset. I had a right mess in Racemenu until the author told me what to do.

 

Once built, you can switch Charmers back on.
