I tried when the update first came out but I can seem to track down what was triggering.

yes actually, turns out it wasn't this mod, but Vanilla Framework Continued the culprit, i deleted it and reinstalled and i have no issues whatsoever

Don't know how much this will help, but I've been going through and editing the trait files by copy/pasting from LV. Haven't touched the top four files, but you should probably look through everything anyways just in case.

I had this added into the colony_events file where the rest of the migrating forests event chain sits. Mainly I just wanted to see the trees without having to go murderhobo on them... Not sure what I did wrong though. Lol.

sorry this took so long, I was on a 2 weeks vacation when the update to LV dropped

 

From Left -to- Right
- New Bioshock Toxoid species

- Jackal REDUX ( new futa art inspired by the work of @HS39 )

- and couple other things too

 

This update includes...

- Added a female version of the Pale-Demon Necroid species

- Added a Mutagenic Assholes trait to the RnG table for the dynamic system
- Added Pre-sapient Event Species to Parthenogenetic questline to encourage Alien Zoo building construction
- Added x3 xenophilic traits events for Parthenogenetic Origin + x1 new event art for said events

 

Fixed mutagenic trait moddability not working correctly
Fixed stable celest's index monitor freezing up
Fixed necrophages being susceptible to mutagenic modification

Fixed certain male traits surviving all female conversion during mutagenic exposure

 

What's on the horizon for Stellaris Season 09...

Will Add Calcifire species (omg plz have mercy of me, people. NO DON'T TOUCH ME!!1!1!)
Will Add Silver Surfer-esque species
Will Add Agony Bitches species

Hopefully I can complete and release my new Harem System update... not soon... but not terribly long either

 

OTHER THAN THAT, this mod has gotten so huge that it take me longer to update and longer to bug test for, so sorry in advance. I suspect there will be issues as always.

Running Lustful Void 0.7.8.3 and Director Pack only (Stellaris v4,0.10) Changing load order hasn't yielded any change. Portraits appear properly but the events are blank and spammed constantly.

Fixed it by updating versions. Any version above 4.0.16+ should work fine

the traits pack still brake the lv traits due to added traits not represented and shows in how the all female or all male type traits are not selectable

I was abbout to say that usually means there are relic files from older versions of my mod lying around that need to get yeeted and deleted, but... Yeah, it's very uncharacteristic of Paradox to implement syntax changes for events mid 0.0.XX update. Usually they save that shit for the 0.X updates.

I hate myself for deleting the old version of the mod because I loved the older version of the bee species. They had those adorable bug fangs. It was cute.image.png.4bd0e83d641b83df9ebfbe9affbb2ee6.png

 

Now they have these big puffy lips...😭 I hate it.

Shouldn't the reverse domestication origins governmental policy on setting beastiality to mandatory require xenophile ethics instead of xenophobe ethics?

Little bug report. It seems the materialist fallen empire portrait's getting overwritten, I think it's to do with the below line in the fallen empire file which sets the portrait to one of the two cybernetic portraits. When I removed it, they started spawning with the Asari portrait.

WOW! this update is awesome, and HOT DAMN those reduxes are amazing. Also, I didn't think you were comfortable with the futa stuff enough lol...

Kinda inspires me a little, I've refrained from ever mentioning them before (not that i talk here much,) but late at night I'll sometimes put together an edit, and I've made a few over a lil bit 'o time. Staying in the same art style was important to me so I kinda frankensteined from other portraits of yours by using GIMP, but, maybe I should tidy em up a lil and release it as its own replacer file like others have in the past. 

But I'll only do it if you're okay with me releasing my attempts to chop up and splice your creations to the fellas here on Loverslab, though. Splicing feels a little different to replacing, and that's why I think I've been so hesitant. Well aside from being embarrassed to share such things online, but I've realized that this is very much an anonymous space, so, there's that too.

I am trying to make a all Male tentacle hive mind but the all male trait as found in lv.

It comes from my other mod, which isn't up to date yet, still working on the 4.0 version for Stellaris.

I needed a distinction between alien fucking and animal fucking. IF you are playing as a parthenogenetic species that relies on sampling the genes of other species... then restricting your peoples ability to sample the genes of intelligent species is kinda.... xenophobic if you ask me

This is one of those things where I fix a bug 3 updates ago. Forget about it. accidently reimplement it when I'm altering vanilla code. GG. Thanks for the bug report I should have it fixed now

Oh well its not my art. Technically I traced some work that was done by HS39 who posted his futa versions of the jackal, like... a year ago. I understood that it was good and outside my own abilities so I implemented it officially.

right, so my directors cut is dependant on LV, and I consider my trait pack to be an expansion to LV. I used to incorporate LVs traits into my own because I liked having a well organized mess. But ever since 4.0 Stellaris, traits are now organized by cost, so it's pointless to try an organize them in my preferred way. Hence why I no longer incorporate her traits into my stuff. There's no point anymore. Sorry

 

 

IN OTHER NEWS::

Bug fixes are now live. I still need to do more testing with teh interhuman breeding system, but I did squash the most important bug. Sorry to anyone who was getting +5k Molten x Giant pops a year. :E

Oh, damn, I meant to give you this report yesterday, but I forgot about it. You might want to look at the code handling the impldmentation of the Stone species, the planet Ovrist.

 

In one of my games as the Void, I explored the planet and my face dropped when the Primitive Ovrist, in the Atomic age had something like 250k pops. For comparison, I had 6k.

 

Unfortunately, I never got to take advantage of it, because by the time I devised invasion plans, they nuked themselves extinct. SAD. That's one way the game made sure fro me not to take advantage of bugs.

As far as I can tell Genetic Resequencing tradition no longer exists and has been replaced by the purity path Genotype Regeneration, but it's still used to stop you from modding out the Mutagenic traits meaning you can't modify those traits even if you complete the biogenesis ascension path.

GOTCHA, right. fuck. theres so much shit I gotta keep track of. KK!!! So the way I'm gonna do it is Cloning Path can remove some muta traits, and Mutation and Purity Tradition trees can add and remove muta traits.

Yeh, anywhere in teh code where it said "trait_babe_xxxxxx" it was a trait I had made any anything that said "trait_lv_xxxxxx" was Lithia's doing. Maybe she would be willing to make a standalone trait pack, but idk. Probably not likely. But as I said, the issue is that I no longer have a good reason to snatch her stuff
