FauxFurry Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 Considering how much fun I am having with independently developed games that I was not even aware of and thus were not anticipating recently, it really might be for the best to not look forward to anything at all (which is not really too different from what I concluded after watching an E3 years ago while hoping to be surprised rather than look for more sequels, prequels, remakes or spiritual successors created because the developers lost the rights to an Intellectual Property). That said, if Dragon Dogma 2 turns out to be at least as good as the first, I will not lose what remains of my patience for the antics of the mainstream corporate side of the gaming industry.
spoonsinger Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 (edited) Tangledeep 2 - Electric Boogaloo. Same SNES 16 bit vision with more armour load outs and increased Bandit, (definitely not people)/Frog action. (Actually no idea if they are doing a sequel, but I'd pay good, (erm well pounds), money for another. Apart from that DD2 when it gets a PC port, (and probably a couple of years after that). Edit - Being a total Saturday sponge, totally forgot. Dwarf Fortress. Will buy on the 6th just because it has given me many hours of fuming at how really clever people can be so useless at creating good UI's while at the same time keeping me entertained with the scope of their vision. (Actually just like my working life experience in general). Edited December 3, 2022 by spoonsinger
Vortex Lord Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 I'm looking forward to Max Payne 1 and 2 remakes Remedy is doing. I know they are in good hands and I'm glad Rockstar didn't give these to Grove Street Games. Some love will be put into them as they are Remedy's babies. They will be on Control's engine too which is gonna be amazing.

Okay, I have to change my mind ever so slightly after that IGN interview on Armored Core 6 now that the rumors that it would be a 'Souls Like' have been dispelled. I am cautiously optimistic about Armored Core 6 for the time being but if I see a single mech roll dodge, that will all change.
