So, Just How Big is Your Mod Folder?

Was backing up my hard drive today when I noticed that my Sims Mod folder was over 48 gigs lol.   The scary part is that I have a very very small library of mens items and building items which led me to wonder just how big are some of you guys mod folders as I would imagine your computers aren't entry level pos like mine.

Somehow, it is 14.1 GB despite my deliberately trying to keep things relatively light. I suppose that the meshes in the custom content that I am using are all very high poly and the textures are high resolution while the animations and video files also use up a great deal of space in their own right.

Hmm, considering that the movie channels are replaced by a few movies by H0rs3 and Zonk Punch, that should not be too surprising.

38 GBs. I told myself not to download any custom objects or furniture because I’d dig myself into a hole and probably have 100GBs ?

55Gb

Good, for a second there I was getting worried that when I asked the question expecting to see many over my 48 and when none rolled in higher until you.   One always needs a new target to strive for lol ;)

Back in the days, when I was still pllayin' on my old i3, this huge mod folder caused me lots and lots of issues  But since my new comp' is an i5 with a GTX 1650, guess I could run the game with a 1Tb mod folder without any issue lel.  >> Both are laptops <<

Am I the only one that, for a split second, was expecting something else to be at the end of that title question, lol?

 Oh don't worry, it's big... ?

I feel like I'm seriously lacking at only 13GB. ?

It is not the size of your mod folder that counts but what you do with it that is important.

20.1 Gigs - 5177 items right now.  I plan to purge some of the broken CC I have and get rid of some stuff I just don't want.  I don't like long nails mods and its like the glitter of mods folder.
