I use Nexus Mod manager which is far simpler and easy to use, easier to make mods and don't have to open it to launch games. It does have its down side, like all of them, you do have to know how to manually sort your load order, and you'll get some flak from the Mod Manager snobs. LOL

But the funny part, there's a lot of folks using it, yet you don't see us asking for help relating to a mod manager. ;) 

 

Regardless of what MM you choose to use, knowing how it works is key to an enjoyable gaming experience. 👍

Vortex ooofff... iv already expressed my dislike in previous pages on the thread ill save my opinions and not disclose about it :p 

I am interested to eventually test the new Nexus App when its more matured and developed though see if that is better than Vortex

Same person wrote Mod Organizer as his thesis, then used what he learned to write Vortex.

Tannin does not get enough credit in the annals of game modding.

I think one of the key takeaways with this mainly is it has a natively supported and built linux executable compared to most other mod managers. It just hardly has any games it works with currently and seems to be super buggy at least thats what the impression I got from what people have said im staying away from it for now, and just watching how it develops

Yeah it's still early days.  What's sad is Vortex is mostly TypeScript from what I understand, so why can't that run on Linux (I certainly have used NodeJS w/ TypeScript on Linux), why the need for a new mod manager.  I am taking the fact that they are doing yet another rewrite as mistakes were made, but the other challenge is they seem to want to support every game that is moddable -- not sure if that is feasible.

Being a jack of all trades can sometimes be a detrament, but I guess time will tell with it.

The option that is highlighted in the picture leads directly to the same file I copied and pasted in the spoiler earlier, but I have included a zip file with both the load order and plugin's text files, as requested. I wanted to cover all the bases.

Your plugin.txt has everything sorted alphabetically. I've never seen one like that. Do you have automatic loot enabled? Check In Plugins:  It has a check mark.

Now go to Nuka Ride.esp in Plugins and double-click. Look for Group and select Dynamic Patches. This will cause Nuka Ride to load among the last possible ones.

Anyway, I don't know if my mod will be able to work with so many mods. Especially since I have no idea what they do. I told you that one of the reasons my mod can't execute scripts is the huge number of mods. BUT. The correct load order can hit the mark.

I just downloaded & installed it again, the fomod works fine. You might want to re-download it, uninstall your current one and then install the new one. Sometimes things can get wonky when a squirrel farts in south Texas. LOL

I was able to get the load order sorted, but I'm still getting the same issues. The truck looks fuzzy, if there is supposed to be a scene, it gets skipped and goes right to the dialog, and there is no prompt when looking at the truck.

 

What would happen if I walked to Nuka World on my own?

fuzzy might be an ENB problem, it was posted a while back what to disable in ENB if your using it.  sounds like your on the nora route, so you would have to go through dialog with charon, and he will teleport you after ahem fucking you.

 

by the way did you address any of the missing hard requirements (leito's animations)?  i am fairly sure this animation is from savagecabbage's, it is mentioned you need the latest (1.3.0) of that pack, no idea if this animation needs the new version or it's a different one.

Oh yeah. That save where the scripts aren't firing is useless now. You need to start a new game with this fixed load order. Use SKK Fast Start to start a game quickly.

I have the cabbage animation, Lieto's I have not updated in a while though... I mean A WHILE... I'm going to try that, I also clicked on the TFM link on the main page, and I've already noticed that there might be some things missing from my AAF installation, so I'm addressing that now, or at least I'm trying to. It could be an ENB setting, because I do use one of those. Do you happen to know which setting could be causing the issue?

Ahh! I would have SO many mods bombarding my screen with settings and stuff... I mean, I like those mods, but holy fucking shit...

You really need to read that first page, this is an alternate start mod it's generally intended to played with a new game.  There is a whole route that can only be started with a new game.  Best advice is to create a new profile and just use the recommended loadout on the first page, with a new profile you can isolate the modlist, loadorder, and save games and switch back and forth -- you can even have different versions of mods (you just have to install them again with the different version and tell Vortex your not upgrading but want another whatever it calls it).

Thats what I love about this mod so much is the alternate start aspect living out a different character that isnt searching for there son the whole time it so boring the "searching for the son" story I really didn't like it 

This is my total amount of ESP plugins I use in my load order its nice and light weight

I did start VA new game, I'm not sure if there is a weight issue with the vanilla close I'm using though, my toon's boobs kind of... float, but I don't have any physics mods installed.

I haven't seen that.  CBBE isn't even physics enabled on the breasts, so it's probably your clothing mods are expecting 3BBB variant and the lack of OCBP, shrug.  Floating breasts is fairly common with CBBE 3BBB from what I have seen and usually people talk about gravityBias settings in OCBP, but I don't see it in your LO (ahh, and I see 3BBB doesn't have a plugin, so that would make sense it's just a nude body mesh replacer, I guess I was thinking about Skyrim CBBE 3BA which does have a plugin).  It could be that weight painting is just close to other bones and without a working OCBP it's causing them to be gravitate to the other bone positions -- but you really shouldn't have moving breasts with CBBE.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

 

I would recheck your mod list and what the clothing mods are designed for.  I don't use CBBE, it's a minefield once you get into the 5~6 mods to get it close to Fusion Girl functionality and then it's still not.  Most of the time people just clobber the skeletons and it's a trainwreck, or they don't install w/ DFS options correctly.

 

 

But this is what you need for CBBE 3BBB to work with BT (i.e. if you want breast, butt, belly physics -- CBBE alone doesn't do it as I understand it):

Thanks, I'll have to give this a look when I get home. So, I'm guessing that ZaZ goes in the default skeleton folder for DFS, or how does that work? That's one of the things that has me confused.

 

Also, I noticed that I kept getting error messages in Buffout 4, I kept seeing different sound BA2s showing up in the log files, for the default game, so I kept adding ".backup" to each of those files, which "fixed" the issue, the only problem is, now I'm wondering if those sound files will be ignored by the game, and I just won't get any of the sounds included in them...

 

One more question, do you know if this mod works with Ikaros Androids? I suspect that it should to a point, the only issue I can see is that Ikaros doesn't deal with outfits very well, that is, if you equip an outfit that is meant for a human character, the exposed parts are human and not android, or if the outfit has a conversion, the android skin is different...
