Wow that's a lot of mods is this a record?,do you use MO I would set up a new profile with just the hard requirements and see how you go it's a mod that has no real combat so most of your mods seem weapons related that isn't necessary

Yeah... I like guns and explosives the way an entomophobic person likes bug spray, lol... I've been debating on whether I should get rid of a lot of the ones I don't use very often, though. It's just that I have a hard time deciding.

I went off of the list I saw on the cover page of this mod, here on LL, unless that's outdated... or I missed some things, apparently? Anyway, I'll look into those things you pointed out. I mean, that's not the way I had it sorted 2 years ago, but yeah, that's how it ended up, which I thought was kind of odd, to be honest, but I decided to roll with it, since I didn't notice any immediate issues when I first booted up the game again. I'm sure there are a lot more issues than I realize, but trying to use a sorter often results in the sorter bitching about too many mods installed, and then it refuses to sort the load order (Loot), or it deactivates a bunch of mods and puts them at the bottom of the list (Wrye Bash), which is just as annoying, but at least I end up with a sorted load order...

Hey, I didn't name those mods, lol...

Just don't tell Liberty Prime.

What does the world patch do again? I forgot... It got kind of tedious installing the requirements for this mod that I did, and apparently I still managed to miss some things.

Hey there, thank you for your awesome work! I have played the mod through several playthroughs on both routes, and came across a curiosity with the lates update? what would cause the visions when you grab Patti's toys and the music when you first meet Corsican to not play? Also, the nail kit applies the nails and then immediately says they've lost their polish.... Never had a problem with that before. I do enjoy your work JB Thank you for an awesome mod!

Load order:

That can't be your load order as many mods wouldn't work correctly or even load. If it IS, what mod organizer would allow patches to "try" and load before masters? Which btw, the game won't allow anyway and will ignore the mod.

Using LOOT to sort your mods it just asking to break things. It's best to actually read a mods description and sort your mods manually. After a few times you'll learn very quickly exactly where a mod needs to be placed.

Also, post your Plugins.txt which is what the game uses to load. That mess wouldn't load 1/2 the mods. LOL

hey jb you are getting better by the day, but i got a question, i tried using group manager on bodyslide for the clothes but of audition but they still change my body to a skinny one instead of the one i set on bodyslide, any idea how to fix it?

I'd doubt on that mod.

There wasn't any problems I had with HN66 Eyelashes after I picked the "No Lashes" option when installing Eyes of Beauty mod, as there is problems if you picked Custom Lashes during that mods install and having HN66 Eyelashes installed too. It makes the lashes look weird so at least for me it works fine

Yes. Especially on the Charlie preset.

"The short version: This patch cleans up leftover construction items and makes Nuka Town, and many of the custom cells aah..prettier."

The long version:

Spoiler

This changes a shite ton of stuff.

humm... maybe that should be the short version.

This patch at the moment mainly deals with Nuka Town and the interior cells. It fixes al lot of z fighting, alignment, terrain, navmesh and left over/floating world items.

It adds a helipad for the BOS & VIP's. It adds a few vehicles for them to get around in.

It tastefully highlights the spot where Nisha is standing upon returning to Nuka World during the Apollo quest. You spawn directly in front of here and she's standing under a street light.
So if you don't see her... you fuuuucked uuuup! ;)

It adds missing light strips on the buildings, decorations outside the Amphitheater & tattoo shop.
Attempts to fill all the gaps left by removing the trash. Which btw is over 5K items.
It fixes the floating light strings, and add a bunch of lights & light posts.

A lot of things, if that loadorder.txt is valid, which I have doubts on that (especially considering the near alphabetical sort on the plugins, feel unnatural).  If your using MO2 then that file from %LocalAppData%\Fallout4 isn't really the best place to pull it since it uses usvfs to remaps the location.  With MO2, you would want to get from your profile folder (you can share modlist.txt, plugins.txt, and loadorder.txt, which the last two should be ordered the same in my experience so plugins.txt is good to share since it indicates which ones are enabled):

Yeah maybe that's what Lynx had problems with.  HN66 Eyelashes is a vanilla replacer, and I am not sure what Eyes of Beauty lash options are doing but it could be modifying the headparts on the race record to point to a new mesh or headpart -- and perhaps it depends on whether you were using facegen data or not.

The only thing with HN66 Eyelashes is I think they change a texture name or materials file name IIRC, and that's the problem with facegen is if you generate it with a mod then the modded texture paths are baked into the generated facegen mesh, so you would get purple eyelids if your missing the mod.  I remember running into this same problem with Triggerwoman (old version) and tracked it down to missing textures included in facegen, at that time it wasn't mentioned as a requirement (hard or soft) for that mod.  The other thing to point out is facegen is similar to precombines, it takes all the headparts and merges it into a single mesh.  So those long lashes for HN66 expect a certain texture layout, if you have a conflict then I could see how things get weird, hard to say for sure.  You can open facegen data in Outfit Studio or NifSkope, except it's usually pretty weird looking (no idea how the engine even understands it) as some of the headparts are offset 90 degrees, some are at 0 degrees, just odd.  I don't recall precombines being the same way.

By the way, I only use Eyes of Beauty Remastered Edition, it doesn't have any install options:

I use Vortex, and that's the file that gets updated every time I install something new. I don't know how it functions at all, but it does.

I use Vortex. Everything with a "*" next to it is enabled.

as I used this mod with Skyrim and New Vegas in the past but yeah ill probably use that maybe this remastered one then I wont have to content with lashes issues if that problem ever arrising at some stage

For some reason, my Nexus isn't letting me download it today. I've been trying to download these eyes for half a day.

Yeah the remastered edition is the "no lashes" option, but it has a bunch of new colors and some changes to simplify the options (like the lashes stuff was removed).  I usually load both the vanilla replacer & standalone (but rarely use the extra eyes in standalone), also worth mentioning is apparently this version was ported back to Skyrim.

I'm sorry.  😜  But in seriousness, then your missing a ton of the soft requirements and a few hard requirements.  The experience isn't going to be great with a lot of that stuff missing, some of the fun of the mod is the clothing swaps and curated extras (i.e. facial piercings, tattoos, nails, ...).  You should be able to create a separate profile in Vortex just for this mod, how well it works at managing it I don't know because it would have to purge mods and install mods when you switch profiles, it "should work" but considering Vortex hides profiles by default makes me wonder.  Keep in mind this mod is intended as an alternate start, so you really should play with a new game -- if you don't then you are limited to one route and really the young vault dweller (Norita) route is the one that many folks seem to prefer and that only kicks in with a new game.

I had nothing but problems with Vortex, ultimately the problem I couldn't solve was Torture Devices crashing which was some weird permissions issue or it was a blocked file or something (multiple people have reported it, EgoBallistic has tried a few different archives to solve it, not sure if people are still having trouble with it), but switched to MO2 and all of the problems went away.

First of all JB. Absolutely love the mod. One of the best story mod out there regardless of the genre. I love the world building and how everything ties-in from the vanilla lore to the mod's lore. I love pretty much all the characters, and I absolutely love the character of both Nora and Norita in each routes. I love the newly added prewar lore. I love the jokes and the comedic moments while maintaining the seriousness/helplesness of our main character. In summary,  like pretty much everyone else here, I absolutely love the mod.

Thanks for your words. He's not so bad in Norita's route 😭 In Nora's route, he did undergo several changes, but he was originally intended to be a character we would really want to kill in the vanilla DLC when we finished the mod. But this mod started to grow, and I had to make several tweaks to him throughout the story.

Hey there, thank you for your awesome work! I have played the mod through several playthroughs on both routes, and came across a curiosity with the late update? what would cause the visions when you grab Patti's toys and the music when you first meet Corsican to not play? Also, the nail kit applies the nails and then immediately says they've lost their polish.... Never had a problem with that before. I do enjoy your work JB Thank you for an awesome mod!

Thanks! With these latest updates, I've been struggling with the MCM settings to make them persistent. One of those settings is the duration of the nails. Have you updated to version E? It's the latest version at the moment, and the MCM is now working correctly.

hey jb you are getting better by the day, but i got a question, i tried using group manager on bodyslide for the clothes but of audition but they still change my body to a skinny one instead of the one i set on bodyslide, any idea how to fix it?

It sounds like you're not building correctly. Once you build the outfit group, go to DATA/Meshes/Nuka Ride and see if the outfits have been built correctly (check the creation date). It must be something on your end because there were never any problems with this before.

I need your “plugin.txt.” Upload it to the forum so we can download it and review it better with Notepad. You uploaded something else.

Because the game uses the Plugins.txt.

The Loadorder.txt is some silly thing related to the mod manager you're using.

How hell do you know?!

Glad ya asked! :)

Let's try a little "don't take my word for it" experiment.

Rename your Plugins.txt need to protect that little feller.

Then rename your Loaorder.txt to.... you guessed it... Plugins.txt

Now for the really fun part... Try to load your game.

I use Nexus Mod manager which is far simpler and easy to use, easier to make mods and don't have to open it to launch games. It does have its down side, like all of them, you do have to know how to manually sort your load order, and you'll get some flak from the Mod Manager snobs. LOL

But the funny part, there's a lot of folks using it, yet you don't see us asking for help relating to a mod manager. ;)

Regardless of what MM you choose to use, knowing how it works is key to an enjoyable gaming experience. 👍

If he is using MO2 and want to use his plugin file as load order file it will most likely be one big mess. He should first just use the little disk icon on both tabs and save another instance before doing this. It saves by date so he will know easily which is which.

Its Vortex which like all MM's will have a conniption fit. LOL

But, it's a safe way to learn how thing work without totally mucking things up.
