You might be over the BA2 limit, although the last time I saw that on Starfield it crashes.  But if your using the old Buffout 4, they have a BA2 unlimited fix that doesn't work and I think causes this exact issue.  I would use Buffout 4 NG (it works with old-gen, next-gen, and VR -- it has a better crash logger and PDB support), there is no reason to use old Buffout 4.

 

There is a tool called Collective Modding Toolkit that will tell you if your at BA2 limits, plugin limits, etc.  High probability with 500+ plugins that you may be on/over the BA2 limit (it's 256).

You mean NR or CBBE?  IKAROS is supposed to work with CBBE, but I have only used it with FG, and for FG there are a ton of conversions done by N'Gamma.  Since it's a different body shape & race usually footwear (or full outfits) will have a different item, but other clothing items are common.  The other issue is since it's a new race, you need a race patch or conversion for all vanilla outfits.

 

As for NR, never tried it or considered it.  I got IKAROS working, it's a little weird and temperamental to get character creation right, and some material swaps on the body keep going back to default, but it does work.  I ended up hacking the material files to permanent change the defaults rather than deal with whatever it's issue is.  There is a ton of patches you will need to make it work with stuff, including AAF, basically the same problems you will see with any other race mod (Vulpine, Anime, etc). But needless to say, I got as far as Drumlin Diner with it and got bored with it, just don't have the mental gymnastics to make it work for me.

 

My impression is the Furry races are still being maintained and supported, where IKAROS seems to be as far as the original modder was willing to go with it.  It's certainly a pretty cool, and there are people out there patching it.

Interestingly enough, it was the same three files as before: DLCCoast - Voices_en.ba2, DLCNukaWorld - Voices_en.ba2, and DLCworkshop03 - Voices_en.ba2, so I'm wondering if this is being caused by some kind of mod issue that deals with those locations or using those voice files.

Yeah I have never seen anything in Buffout about archive files or sound, and I have never had to rename the base game files or do anything with them, dare I say "it just works".  ;)

So playing through the Nora route at times it feels like it is Commonwealth Slavers part 2.  It seems to be moving away from a porn studio mod and more a slaver mod. There is very little porn movie content overall it seems. I am having difficult trying to figure out where the conclusion of this mod is going to end up or if there will even be one.

 

At times it feels like more of a visual novel than an RPG. Even in a linear quest, there should be options for character agency.

 

Here are a couple of examples where the character does not have any agency: When dealing with the New Reno thugs while getting Kali, there seems to be only one way to resolve this.

 

On Movie Night, if the character previously failed to submit to Maxson even though there is nothing to suggest she should and previous cues suggests she shouldn't, the character will fail that quest. There should be a 4th dialog option something like "He wasn't man enough for me to submit to..." or something along those lines.

 

In Mason's apartment when delivering the samples, Ingrid is hostile, so she may need to be placed in another faction since the entire Brotherhood is hostile to the character at this point in the game due to previous choices.

 

During the drug mule quest to the Codmans, a few of his lines are unvoiced.

What is the global variable to check this, if you do not mind.   Perky nipples work out of the vault and after speaking to Duke on 6.9.3 but not on versions c or e so wanted to load those up and check that variable.   This is in commonwealth before going to Drumlin Diner (Nora Route) but after sending Duke there.

on a separate note, had a bit of a disaster as MO2 folder got deleted and the back-up I had was over 6-8 months old so trying to rebuild it.   Have most of it corrected but now the Player will not orgasm most of the time during sex - she will sit at 100 arousal and either orgasm at the end or not at all.   Think the only time she will orgasm is in gang bang situations with certain animations.   I have seen a few messages about orgasm tags on messages that run late pretty much still showing after scene ends.   Has anyone ever encountered this before?   This was tested on 6.9.3 and on 6.9.3 c and e.   So I do not believe its from NR.

That is probably what's going on then.   Since almost all of your animations are scripted - I would assume 1 orgasm only at end then?  Which would explain the times she does Orgasm.   These are all during non scripted scenes but still falling under the mods window of handling these.

 

edit: as those are very specific, I would also assume that toys and strap-ons would not count as well?

No, there can be multiple orgasms in the same scene.

 

This affects all AAF scenes, not just mine. My script looks for those tags and if it doesn't find them, it blocks the orgasm.

 

If for some reason you want to have orgasms from sucking armpits (for example), let me know and I'll make a switch in the MCM. 😝

It all depends on whether the author adds the (correct) tags.

 

Scenes with dildos have the tags "Solo", "Dildo" and "Masturbation". I could add them for the next update 👏🏼

nope just the standard stuff :P just trying to figure out why she became the edge queen.   Time to delete everything AAF related and rebuild the whole thing.

Yeah I noticed that and thought it to be a bit strange you get the "on the brink" message still with a lot of things that used to lead to a orgasm with AAF scenes but of course it doesnt actually happened as it was limited to specfic tags now I just thought having those messages was a bit strange still and wondered i that would be patched or changed on the next update. 

Also Happy Fallout day, when the bombs dropped.

Unfortunately, that's from Sex. Attributes. That mod gives me the option to block orgasm, but the message is a slip-up by the author, who hasn't been around here for a while.

Out of curiosity, this mod does allow exploration of the wasteland and the completion of vanilla quests, if desired, right?

 

Your character is not completely locked down, are are they?

You can always go to the train station to travel to the Commonwealth and do almost whatever you like. My only warning is not to kill innocent people in Diamond City and not to become an enemy of the Brotherhood or the Institute.

 

But, as dav42 already told you, it's easier to create another profile on Vortex and play a more open adventure there. These are my profiles btw.

Oh right I thought it might be just simply switching something off in MCM or getting patched didnt know it was related to the Attributes mod I guess would have to wait for that to get some attention then when ever the author is active

It has been suggested before, but would recommend doing a hard save, because when new content is delivered you never know what will be broken in the future by something you did in the Commonwealth.

 

I personally just use a separate profile, usually with a different loadout for my Commonwealth romps, but I have been known to just copy the profile with saves to a new one in MO2 and continue there with some additions -- makes if you have problems to just switch back to the old profile and delete the broken one, or whatever rather than trying to thumb through 40 save files or figure out what plugins/mods to disable to get back to a working state.  It's basically what profiles are intended to do.

Ah, well then, that won't be difficult. I never play evil characters, that is, I don't kill NPCs unless they try to kill me first. I don't care much for the BoS in this game, but I guess I can make an exception in this case, as for the institute, I'm curious as to what role they would play in a mod like this, but I guess I'll have to find out. If you can't become an enemy of either, then does that mean this mod allows for a truce between the two, or are they still enemies?

Yeah, the mod doesn't seem to be working for me. I managed to sort out the ba2 issue, it turns out the adding ".backup" only makes them invisible to Buffout 4, but it doesn't fix the real issue, which is that I was over the ba2 limit, so I unpacked several ba2s and installed the loose files. Made a b-line all the way to Drumlin Diner (ignored Dog Meat and Preston), and had the same issues. I said I didn't have 30 caps (which didn't show up the first time), then it skipped right to the post-coital options with no sex scene, and I could not click on the truck for a ride to Nuka World.

JB, I remember you mentioned that Sup F4SE was holding you back from upgrading, the only mod I had left that used it was SAMformer and there was a version made that removes the dependencies of Sup F4SE.   Just reinstalled it as I rebuilt the entire install in MO2.   Not sure why to upgrade to NG but if that was the only thing holding you back this might help.   Not sure what other widely used mods use Sup F4SE but nothing in my load order currently does.
