When you open the app it will have all your current mods checked. Just click ok, let it run, then ctrl+a select everything right click and select "apply filter to show conflicts." You want to look for those highlighted in red, and then look for location and mods it's in conflict with. You either load the priority mod (you want) after or disable the ones you don't want ect.

Sweet thanks, ok.. several mods came up red but did not report a conflict but rather an overwrite. So I used CC on the quest that caused major problems for the rest of my playthrough so a new game is a must. From the research I've done it seems to be a possible bug in the base game. No clue on how to fix it. i will play again and see if the problem is still there and if you know how to read a papy log i will post it . And thanks for you valuable help.

If the filter shows anything there are conflicts, a conflict is if 2 or more mods modify the same record but it's not necessarily a problem.  There are a lot of reasons you can get a crash, but without posting the crash log and modlist.txt it's kind of hard to give anything specific.  If you are using the latest Buffout 4 NG then we should be able to get your load order from that, if not then also provide loadorder.txt.

 

I have no crashes with only the required/recommended load out, which is why it's likely something with the mods you are using -- some sort of incompatibility between the mods.  Broken precombines is one of the common reported causes.

 

One way you can track it down is by #1 testing from main menu (before any save is loaded) and doing a COC to the cell via console that has issues, #2 eliminate half of your extra mods, #3 repeat until it doesn't crash when entering the cell, #4 enable half of what you disabled and repeat steps 1&2 until you get the crash.  Basically your doing a binary search by halving your mod list until you reduce it to hopefully 1 mod, and yeah it's not as linear as half because of dependencies but hopefully you get the idea.

 

Posting your crash log, modlist.txt, and loadorder.txt might get you a response from someone who has seen your particular crash and can point you more directly, but sometimes you have to do it the hard way.  :(

Got a problem while re-playing the Nora route. 

After doing the "Kill me Softly" quest, OB keeps walking back to a set of tables in Dry Rock Gulch.

Tried finishing some subsequent quests, see if it fixes him, but no.

Reading the stage guide, could it be a conflict with the Norita version?

Hey I'm just giving the virgin Norita Route a try and my god, I think I like this over the Nora one.. Like a lot. At first I was a bit disappointed that your character seemingly wants more than working in the bar with Sophie and agreed to Porn right away, but the dialogue choices about how you're not entirely sure, and how you actually don't wanna sacrifice something so special for Porn made that work in the end, it's great. I actually have the freedom to play who I want to, and for the most part it breaks the Fallout 4 "Yes, Yes, No but Yes and Sarcastic Yes" cycle just like Commonwealth Slavers did. The camera work in some of the scenes here is also really nice, just like in CS.

 

Especially love what you did with Patti and Dallas in this route, and them sitting on the Overboss' lap when you stand there and talk to him? That is quite the scene, I mean wow. :classic_blink:

 

While playing I also thought of something that might work well in the mod, if that's fine. Currently I play a student girl that wears glasses, and I plan to take them off eventually to have that whole 'Nerdy girl is actually really hot without her glasses' trope, which I think would work well integrated into the mod. Maybe it could be recognized just like the various choices you make with your rich/average past and your virginity status, and someone in the mod would eventually encourage you to take those glasses off/restore your eyesight somehow.

I can post the mods list though nothing that changes cells other than Nuka Ride. I don't even run sims settlement anymore. Also this is my umpteenth playthrough so this problem is very new. And thanks again.

There's a very good chance you have a bad/corrupted mesh around Bunker Hill. The easiest way to fix it would be to try do a clean NR install, finger crossed that fixes it. If not and you're 10000% sure no other mod effects that area including clothing mods, then overwriting the vanilla mesh/textures.ba2's should do it. A vanilla run will tell real fast IF it's a bad vanilla mesh.

 

Buuut first, I'd disable NR and start a new run, coc bunkerhillext and see if it CTD. Then disable mods that effect the NPC's.... rinse & repeat until it doesn't crash and add them back until it crashes and you've found the cause.

You can disable esm for testing but remember if the mod is still active and it have textures and meshes it will still overwrite anything below it.

So in my case being a possible mesh texture issue its best to disable the mod completely. I will do a vanilla run and add mods one by one...sigh.,

That would be correct disable it on the left pane assuming you use MO2 like me

Yes, and keep in mind if other mods use it as a master they too have to be disabled.

You can do the old 50/50 method. Disable 50% of all the mods, test, enable 50% of the remaining mods, test.... repeat.... when the issue comes back, you know it's in the last batch that was enabled. 

I think it's a max of 6 or maybe 8 restarts to find an offending mod.

I would put Nuka Ride.esp at the bottom of your load order:

 

StartMeUp.esp
StartMeUpNukaWorldPatch.esp

Nuka Ride.esp
Nuka Ride World Patch.esp
Nuka Ride FaceGen.esp

Nuka Ride High Heels Sound Patch.esp

Nuka Ride - Start Me Up Patch.esp

 

I don't use Start Me Up or World Patch, but this order makes more sense to me.  If StartMeUpNukaWorldPatch.esp is related to Nuka Ride World Patch (izzy's mod) then I would put that after his plugin (I am assuming it's not, based on the naming here).

Im a humble slut tryna make this work.

 

I do have wasteland of depravity installed just FYI.

 

I followed the install as best I could. Some required mods are already there. Such as easy girl and trs's outfits. Some animation packs

 

Im having an issue where the dog scene near the start doesn't properly work, and when I put on the audition outfit my body is invisible.

 

Also not hearing the voice lines, so I must have fucked something up.

 

Really cool mod, rlly wanna make it work in my current setup if at all possible.

 

I can try posting a load order if that helps.

You need to have dog animations, Leito I think? You need to build the outfits in BodySlide for the body you have. Bodyslide files are just above the main NR download.

You also need to install the voice files found in the Optional Files folder.

Leito is installed already.

Could I get a link to the body slide files??? Im not sure where to find that, the optional files folder, nor the voice files.....also first time using body slide, but I thought I had done that w the batch thingy.

Ok, Her is what I've done so far. Me being the super genius that I am, decided to do things the easy way. I removed all unused mods that were not activated.

redownloaded F4, verified game files, cleared steam cashe, cleared pc cashe, verified all remaining mods were up to date, stated a new vanilla game no mods so far so good.

enabled each mod one by one went to bunker hill with no crashes. I have yet to activate Nuka ride and try it.

What ever was causing the crash could have been a corrupted F4 or one of my zillion unused mods I left installed but deactivated, ill probably never know.

ill let you know when i begin the NR run.

Wondering if its the ultimate patch for AAF. Cuz wasteland of depravity has it but its only parts needed for the modpack...so maybe I'll try swapping that out with the full one? Or just put the full patch above the bespoke version?

 

Latest savage cabbage is installed. Haven't made it farther into the mod yet to confirm weather or not other scenes have issues.

 

Will check out those additional files for the outfit/voice part and report back.

 

Thanks for being so helpful.

If I end up chasing my own tail on this too long I'll try and get it working on its own without a huge modlist complicating things.

Well you need SavageCabbages 1.3.0, so you wouldn't apply patches for SC in Ultimate AAF.  Otherwise Ultimate AAF is fine, I run with it as well.  Most of the time JB has his own animation XMLs and just relies on the plugin & assets of the animation mod.

 

Without more specifics on what is not working with the animation it's hard to say.  If your getting a scene failed then usually that's because something to run the animation wasn't found, like furniture or markers.  If your running with other mods that modify Nuka World then that may certainly be the cause, also Nuka Ride should be near the bottom of your load order and it's patches should follow it (i.e. facegen patch, heel sounds patch, nuka world patch if you use it, etc).  Also check your plugin list and make sure everything is actually enabled.  There is a debug menu in AAF, accessible via the home key, that may give you a clue.
