Can't wait that route has me hooked.

I'm with ya there! When I need to play the Nora route I have to keep saying play Nora... play Nora... to keep the Norita muscle memory from taking over. 🤣

Personally waiting for Nora updates. The Norita route is a bit too soft and boring for my tastes, but I'm glad it's getting more people invested in the mod.

I like Nora's route better because I'm a piece of shit that likes to degrade my Nora as much as I can. That said, It's still too soft for me so I play Commonwealth Slavers. Just waiting for JB to start working on Version 3 whenever he's ready. With that in mind, I was roleplaying as a male enclave soldier for AR2 because I can't finish the game any other way. I hate all the vanilla factions in Fallout 4.

What? You didn't like the 'RGB Mass Effect' ending that BGS put in? Where nothing you did matters in the slightest, and 3 out of the 4 endings are exactly the same?

One guy wished me dead because of the Overboss's humiliating responses in Nora's story. Apparently, this guy couldn't take the OB's treatment anymore and wanted to kill him, and then he took it out on me when he realized that the OB is invincible and cannot enter bleed state. If his response continues, it's on my Patreon. I didn't report it or anything and kinda left it as a war trophy. But that was when the Norita route didn't exist yet and we were on Nuka Ride 3 or something.

I enjoy writing intense and lighthearted things, although I often get tired of one style and switch to the other.

It kind of works against me because there will definitely have been some users who thought they would find a romantic story in Slavers,  or people who are afraid that I'll suddenly script something awful for Norita.

Thing is, those that complain, I mean asshat complain, are simply NPC's that are unable to enjoy, let alone immerse themselves in actual literary works.

So you do you cause you're fucking awesome at it. ;)

Oh just a thought on proper English.. My wife is an English & spelling nut, but she really likes your slightly irregular use of words. As she put it, it adds character and depth to the actors.

Found another bug on the Norita path:

If Norita gets Keyshawn out of his pants in the training/maid quest for Larson (the first time working for him). After the 'Take a seat to rest' step, it soft locks and Keyshawn just goes into random 'static lines'. And the quest never moves forward.

So that's where the dialogue for Willem came from. It all makes sense now.

But crazy people, gonna crazy. It's kinda expected in this day and age. There's far too many people that are anti-this, or anti-that. And so many more people that are strait up anti-gamer. Not to mention the 'main-stream gaming publications' that are openly attacking gamers, like Ex-Kataku writer Allyssa Mer-cunty... I mean Mercante and so forth.

I would actually love some darker things to happen to Norita. While I generally love the overall vibe of the Nora playthrough itself I've never really been interested in the Canonical Nora or the whole Shaun thing. I get that the Overboss right within character as you made him will be rather protective of young Norita but it is still the crazy Fallout Wasteland and there are other creeps and psychos out there who could try to do bad things to a young adult film actress if you were to make some wrong choices.

But yeah Nora's arc as far as the intensity itself I think you got a perfect blend. Definitely not as brutal as Commonwealth slavers. Nora gets a great mix of highs and lows serving the Overboss.

Works well for me .

Perhaps something disrupted the script for the scene.

I just checked some boxes like “player cannot leave conversation” and increased the dialogue distance, just to reinforce this scene. Although this video was made without any of that.

wonder what the progression of the next update is. i thought it was dropping some time today guess i was mistaken.

I don't think you really understand how much work goes into making a quest. Did you know that update 6.9.0 took me eight months? We're talking about seven quests.

It's not just dialogue, packages, creating interiors, creating assets, putting characters in there, testing it, creating voices, scripting and testing. Not to mention if I have to put together outfits for CBBE and FG, or select music and read the documentation.

Add one or two burnouts along the way.

For example, today I spent the entire day creating voice files for my new quest.  Believe me, that's the most tedious and time-consuming thing you can do. I once sent the video tutorial to a mod author who wanted to add voices to his mod, and guess what? He told me, horrified, that he wasn't going to do such a thing if it required all those steps. Using Excel tools that I didn't even know existed, intensive use of more than four different software programs, and on top of that having to pay Elevenlabs. I don't blame him.

Well, those of us who do know how much work goes into this massive project; We are extremely grateful, for that work, and are loving every second of all of it, both paths. And are patiently waiting, and eager for the next installment.

Yeah, something must have bugged out on my end I'm guessing. I had been running the game for quite a while at that point (at least 3 - 4 hours); And you know BGS games, they hate to run for a long time without a full reboot now and again.

Although, I did have the 'plug' equipped at the time. So maybe that interfered with it? I don't know.

I'm sorry. I didn't realize. It's just your mod has me hooked on the story and I wanted to play it so badly and continue the story you crafted. Again I'm impatient it's my flaw.

Damn dude, I knew making mods this big was a exponential challenge, I just didn't realize the voicing for it required more softwares than Elevenlabs. But that makes sense. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I assume you have to code the voices into the mod files. That'll definitely require a third party software to help with that transition.

Okay after further testing, I figured out what is going on. If Norita sits down before Keyshawn is leaning on the poll, Keyshawn can inadvertently walk out of the conversation. Then trying to reactivate it by talking to him triggers nothing but random lines; Resulting in a softlock, that doesn't let the quest continue.

So nothing external is really 'interrupting' the script for the scene; It's just Keyshawn's movements to go from the corner of the room to the poll, and Norita's having to sit on the cube.

Or in other words; Idiot AI.

Greetings everyone. During the Nora's path, i've just done the mission "LUCY IN THE SKY". After the end of this amazing new quest, i went back to the Andrew station for dealing again with Chancer and especially Bulldog. I don't know if it's a easter egg, but i get in the corpse of Bulldog the key of a cell. Getting this key led me back between Sanctuary and the Ranger'cabin (marker on the map) where i have to find the "OVERBOSS CELL". I don't find in this sector any hatch or any entrance to something. i tried out with other different playthroughs with NR 6.8 or 6.9, no luck so far. Any clues ?

Look at that!  😱

It's an objective on Norita's route. Hmm, I'll have it corrected.

In the meantime, write this:

What's in those files is data such as which actors were used to make the corresponding voices, and Axary left them there. Those are very useful for XVASynth, but for Elevenlabs I have another methodology.

Elevenlabs requires me to first train a specific voice. For example, yesterday I did the voices for Chip Morse. There is a mod that extracts the audio from the game, called Lazy Voice Finder, and I use it to extract his lines. However, not just any audio will do; it must be at least five seconds long.

Elevenlabs provides you with a WAV file, for which you need other software to create the LIP file. Then you need another piece of software to package the WAV with the LIP and convert it to FUZ.

Then you have to assign the ID. That's where Excel, Creation Kit, and a program for renaming files in bulk come in.

The fun part is when there are two identical dialogues, because my Elevenlabs software skips them. You have to manually correct the gaps. That taught me never to write two identical dialogues again.

I'm sorry to hear it is such a bear to create.

I am hoping that the love people have for this and your other mod bring you enjoyment, pride, and a strong sense of accomplishment.

They are just so far and above other work INCLUDING the vanilla works, it is just amazing. 😁🥰

wow, that is pretty impressive knowledge you have gained over time.   You can really tell the evolution of your skill from slavers to Norita route.   Slavers was not my bag and would not replay it, it was also very buggy and cluttered (still a great piece of work mind you! I am not trying to bag on it) but then you see the Norita route and its like BANG this is epic level modding!

I can't even figure out how to convert CBBE outfits with heels to Fusion girl (actually making my own conversion mod) that does not break the feet or simply not show up when you equip it....such a low level modding skill that is beyond me currently

Hah hah, so funny and real "I can't even figure out how to convert CBBE outfits with heels to Fusion girl that does not break the feet or simply not show up when you equip it."

Wait...I have to do what with bodyslide? Look, it isn't purple and it mostly fits, I'm good. 👍 Hah hah 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I just rebuild everything, all the time, because 🤷‍♀️ and I have no idea what I'm doing.

sorry that statement was incomplete - I have tried to make my own conversions in outfit studio as they simply do not have a FG conversion that I could find)

i think you should stick with your own term no need to please everybody, and i think it's bad idea to add extreme stuff in norita route just stay lighthearted, as nora route i don't think you need to increase the intensity of extreme stuff while commonwealth slavers exist, i mean if you want hardcore hardcore stuff just play commonwealth slavers that mod alone is extremely hardcore.
