Thanks JB, the CTD is gone now after disabling the patch!

Are there any other ways I can shower now without the patch other than going into the river?

Only other way I can think of is by enabling the garden workbench with console and building a shower in the garden.

Again thanks a lot for the fast response, you are amazing!

I use CWSS Redux v 4.01 along with the Nuka Ride CWSS World patch (@izzyknows).  Showers work with no problems(including the one in the apartment).

Where do you find that mod? It’s removed from Nexus

Thank you

Thank you

CWSS is probably the single best option but it's been taken down, so unless you have an old copy or know someone who is willing to share it, it's near impossible to get

I'd actually suggest possibly getting one of the CWSS translation mods, even if you can't understand the language it's pretty simple as far as building, like you see what you'll build in the build menu, and action key will trigger the shower for you so you don't need to worry about figuring out which thing lets you shower or something.   Just make sure you check bug reports to make sure the version you're choosing doesn't have a ton of bug reports in it 🖤

Edit: But just to be clear the CWSS World Patch includes a shower in the apartment for you already as well as at Fizztop

Luckily the author linked it on his Nexus profile.

Oh that's so kind of him to put those up 🖤When I try to visit on Nexus it kept saying it was removed but wouldn't link me to the creator page 😭we do have Dropbox available in my country so this is awesome!  I totally need that 3rd patch, because I definitely don't have it.  Thank you so, so much for linking this!  Learning new things daily around here 🥰 I stand corrected.  Way easy to get 🖤

Hey JB (dont' have your mod installed) this is the area your Norita story line cave is right?
image.png.04bc92741401913a187d91ba24d66f55.png

I don't see any problems. The NR and AR2 autodoors don't overlap or anything. They are simply in the same worldspace, which is not a problem. A problem would only occur if a door was in exactly the same place, which it isn't, and the NR door also seems to be removed when its quest is done. So you should safely be able to play both mods together. I just tested it on my Norita profile.

Yes, I would say that the entrance is exactly where that red dot is.

Now. My cave only appears at a specific point in the “Lucy in the Sky” mission. It remains invisible throughout the rest of the game.

Now, that's so great to read! 🤩

I got a copy of CWSS Redux 4.01 English. I know 'publicly uploading it' is heavily frowned upon.

But if anyone needs it, DM me here on LL, and I can e-mail them a copy of it.

Would love to see if the Enclave ends up in Nuka Ride somehow.

I don't know the Enclave. I didn't play Fallout 2, 3, or New Vegas, and I'll take this opportunity to say that maybe that's why I didn't understand anything in America Rising.

I installed it, I was on the Prydwen, and a woman from the Brotherhood approached me and told me that I had to kill a bunch of Enclave soldiers, and my character could refuse or accept, but I had several questions that couldn't be answered. What is the Enclave? What did they do? Why are they here? Why kill them? No, just go kill these Enclave guys. So I went to this place and started killing them all, but, god, I felt terrible because they were all so well dressed and the place was tidy, and there were a lot of women there. Do I really have to kill them with my minigun? I don't even know what they're doing! I had that moment of “are we the baddies?”

But while the narrative aspect didn't seem to be its strong suit, I learned some technical things (did you know you can't teleport from one place to another while riding a Vertibird? The author did a clever trick to make it happen. He makes you spawn on a secret island, puts you back in a Vertibird, and flies you away, all behind a black screen without you knowing).

Fun fact: you can see that “secret island” in the distance when you go to the Moon of Steel in Nuka Ride.

So... I wrote this between breaks from a Nuka Ride scripting session. No Enclave.

They are overrated assholes. If you side with them in Fallout 3:

Spoiler

The Aqua-pura "purified water", is irradiated. Making them literal 'Snake oil salesmen'; Selling irradiated water, at purified water prices.

I never tried America Rising, because I hate those dying D-bags. And I never got the "next gen update", because IDGAF about having the CC armor that comes with a shit ton of bugs.

Enclave is a bunch of fascist nuts following a computer, murdering them was my pleasure.  You gotta play FO3/FNV (as Tales of Two Wastelands) sometime.  :)

It's nothing to really write home about, you run into a few Enclave encampments and kill a few guys, and get few PA suits.  As one who doesn't play with PA, I couldn't even care.

@JB That is funny. In the next installment, (not the one I am editing now, the one I am writing.) The enclave after being beaten in Boston by BOS (cannon) gets a new partner and a new lease on life. I didn't think anyone was even addressing the enclave in 4. 🤷‍♀️😁

When I'm playing a 'normal game', while ignoring the BS story; I collect it, and make display pieces for my settlers. But I never really use it myself. Sneak builds are far too useful, and way OP in BGS games. Always have been, always will be*.

*At least until BGS upgrade their 'Retard AI' that forgets all about you after 3 seconds. I mean, the BGS NPCs have the attention span of a goldfish.

I am a good Enclave soldier who follows orders. I will return the motherland to its rightful owners and dispose of the mutants at all costs. A true patriot of America sides with the Enclave to destroy the Brotherhood of Steel for being traitors to their country. God Bless America and God Bless the Enclave!!!

PS: I love General Ward from America Rising 2. A very good voice actor and a charismatic leader who you would follow without question.

fun tidbit - if you go ahead and update your game - copy all the creation club files - then downgrade it back. there is a mod that will put all creation club (including anything you purchases for next gen) into your game in a playable form for 163.   And another tidbit, if you save your depots - you can downgrade your game in about 3 minutes as many times as you want.

Yeah, I've never bought anything from the CC. And I never wanted anything from the CC. At least not for FO4.

Skyrim I got the AE freebies, but nothing else.

Plus I'd rather keep my version of FO4 working, than patch it, and hope it don't mess something up in the process.

Paid mods are a cancer that I will never support, nor endorse. Mostly because there are better mods out there that do the same thing, but in a better way. The CC things are mostly ripoffs of already made free mods.

Case in point:

For Skyrim, Campfire/Frostfall and the CC 'Survival' mod that sold so poorly, BGS gave it to everyone in a patch. Plus Chesko went ballistic about it as well.

Damn you're already making books series. Well, if they explain enough to you girl it's all OK. I just wanted that and the mod sent me to the slaughter without any context.

The only one I remember saying anything about the Enclave is Ritcher, the bearded zealot from Far Harbor.
