Yes i betray him since a lot of time ago. I find Lorenzo killing not feral ghouls "for science" two times,  so Lorenzo is not a good guy, but Jack not too (using Valkyrie mod). I choose Lorenzo because the serum, give me access to Glowing Sea and Kiddie Kingdom without problem.

 

Then i think if i play first NR and later Commonwealth options, there is not problem.

This not works for me. I start a new game for check this (:D :D). After finish CS, i resurrect DUKE, he is alive but not floating, if i try chat with him, says some random phrases and later is not there.

 

I think i will play Nora route this time.

You can't imagine how much I needed exciting/good news this week and here you are, filling up the cup for us with happy things!!  I'm really excited to see how these next quests go!  That little classroom area is gonna be worth all the tweaks you've done with it

 

Waiting for your updates reminds me of that study they did with little kids and marshmallows.  The one where they place one marshmallow in front of a kid and tell them if they don't eat it now, if they wait, they'll get an even better thing.  I really want the marshmallow now, but I know if I wait it's gonna be even better, and that's what gets me from update to update, is knowing if we don't rush perfection, we will get a truckload of marshmallow mod goodness 🖤

I actually thought until seeing JB mention something about a lot of it being due to translations, that it was a genuine artistic choice and intentionally being used to make the characters sound more realistic.  It really does add a lot of character to the mod and the world, and honestly after 200 years, language would have changed quite a bit.  Think of how we used to talk 200 years ago, and then 200 before that.  Even with people who pass down vernacular and any language, you're sure to adapt over time.  Language is super fluid and people who study and love English and language as a whole tend to lean more into "it's fluid and adapts", so it was super fitting in my opinion.  Base game makes everyone sound almost prewar still 😶

@JB., you have no idea how much this pains me to hear, smh! Chip Morse's xvasynth voiced "My QUEEEEEENNNN" is the pinnacle of storytelling not to mention the peak of comedy!!! Will I have to quell my passions listening to a Chip Morse say "my Queen" in a voice weighed down by realism?! Will no one think about the innocent!!!!

 

Lol! Sorry, I'm just joking for the drama, obviously... but Chip Morse's "My QUEEEEEENNNN" yell was definitely one of my favorite quirks of the Nora path... Some of the xvasynth voice lines are just so hilarious, it definitely helped define the vibe of early Nuka Ride. There's a bunch of heavy themes in the Nora route for sure but things like that really tell us it's not that serious...which is why I will never understand the people who hate Overboss to the point of wanting to kill him or cuss out JB for making the OB immortal or something. Like, "ma immershun" is cool and all but chill the f out, you know?

I enjoy writing intense and lighthearted things, although I often get tired of one style and switch to the other.

 

It kind of works against me because there will definitely have been some users who thought they would find a romantic story in Slavers,  or people who are afraid that I'll suddenly script something awful for Norita.

 

 

Yeah no pressure, whatever keeps you from burning out. As a consumer there'll always be a selfish side where I just want more of the content I enjoy, but as a creator you have a much bigger picture to deal with and I respect that. Plenty of other things to do in the meantime anyways.

 

I'm a pretty big fan of Slavers too but at this point I think I prefer Nora's NR - it somehow feels even more degrading, if not quite as brutal.

Lol, I know what you mean. I love Longfellow's voice in XvaSynth. I made his Elevenlabs variant and the voice came out so clean (non raspy) I didn't like it, so I gave up.

I hope everything gets better soon! Well, I don't know how long it will take to cook these marshmallows, but I hope not much longer. Today I'm starting the next quest, which is Kali offering her three different outfits.

 

The problem is that the Overboss isn't available on this route, he won't be able to be there during the "fashion show". He's the one who buys them, and part of the appeal of this quest is that Nora can beg for more sexy clothes in exchange for more sexual favors, so I'm thinking maybe I'll put Larsen in. Like, “I heard the Overboss is far away from here, and I thought it would be a good idea to see where the Brotherhood's money is going.”

My clothes and the ironing board seem to have no texture/colors. Idk if this is a common problem, I've redownloaded the files for fusion girl bodyslide outfits and it didnt fix it. Any help appreciated

Those are unique items, so you "might" have a bad download/install.

The ironingboard nif is packed in the Nuka Ride - Main.ba2 You can open it with Archive2 and verify that it's in your copy.

I get it, it was easier that way, but can you imagine the difference it would have made?!

 

Although, they know that a lot of players never notice the details in a game. Like how many people couldn't find Nisha when she was literately10 feet directly in front of them.

Or how many folks have found all the alien heads or spicy cups I left, or, the stash of outfits/goodies. 😁

Hell, think about how people used to talk about 70 years ago in the 50's: "Gee whiz." And "Golly gee."

In the 60's: "Groovy." and "Far out."

In the 70's: "Catch you on the flip side" and "Boogie down"

In the 80's: "Psyche!" and "Not!"

In the 90's: "Talk to the hand" and "Rad"

Now it's basically just devolved to cursing at each other. As we hit a stagnation that started in the 2000's.

 

It don't take that long at all for language to transform. But in the Fallout universe, with most of the population being either, descendants of Vault dwellers, Vault Dwellers themselves, or Ghouls; It would be anything out of the question to have some parts of the wasteland talking just a bit differently than other parts.

But he lost the high pitch squealing. I don't know why, but that sounded quite appropriate for him.

 

Also: Is there a way now, or could one be implemented, to stop 'Hardcore mode' from having to be turned off every single time the game boots up?

Like a MCM settings auto save txt file, with a checkbox/switch to turn on/off 'hardcore mode'.

Hi. I'm playing 6 different playthroughs alongside for this fantastic DLC-sized mod. I know Norita will also do the LUCY MISSION and i will check out everything and all whatnot. Thanks for the suggestion in DC. I had to load an older savegame for Nora, when she's back in Andrew station. This time i didn't took the cell key from Bulldog, right before abducting him, so that's doesn't mess with the ending of the mission.

@JB. Hello, can you add support for PorcEffects mod? I mean skin care cream heals scratches applied by this mod. I know that they disappear after a while by themselfes, but anyway.

Your suggested command line "StopQuest _NukaRide_Lucy" doesn't helped, still stuck at stage 720 for this mission, and some kind of path broken (cannot progress further). I had to load an earlier savegame, right before abducting Bulldog and Chancer (because all encountered Bosses shall became slaves for this ultra-dominant/FemDom Nora playthrough). Anyway, we did had fun while looking for this cell *wink*.

There's your issue and solution. Stop abducting them until NR has ended. Make a hard save for the next expansion.. then go on an abducting spree.

Agreed. Don't abduct them till the end of the mod. I know you're using Just Business. Great mod for making slaves. But to reiterate the quoted comment. STOP ADBUCTING THEM UNTIL NR IS DONE.

I checked out the dialogues and options between Nora and Dr CROCKER. I confirm nothing is leading to the OB cell. I shouldn't had access to Bulldog inventory. JB will fix that for Nora's path.
