I look forward to this whole quest since the Nora version of "Head for Business" stands as my second favorite quest in full for the entire mod so far, I can't wait to see what you do with it for Norita 🖤

I am totally fine with things changing.

 

I see lore as kinda the background or starting assumptions. People can be dynamic, so things can change.

 

Like Vault Tech's shenanigans' with vaults and their residents is lore and probs won't change, but one man's perspective especially coupled with a romantic entanglement? Oh yeah, change can certainly happen there. Maybe not all of BOS, but certainly that one man. And if that one man is in charge? Yup, maybe certain rules are overlooked or no longer enforced...and before you know it, change is happening.

 

Enemies to Lovers is a whole big fave trope. 😁

 

Anyway, JB, this is your world. Do what you will. I'll play anything you make at least once...especially if I can turn parts off or ESC certain scenes. 🤣🤣🤣

What would drive me more insane is a stance of "synths are still bad, but not her" attitude XD where he doesn't change a thing about his morals or ideals, but doesn't include her in that group.  Her being okay with it because she "sees good in him" and "another side" or whatever and me furious because realistically I can't do a thing about it.  Reminds me of in the garden when he insults Isabella's mom so casually, apologizes and then reaffirms his insult anyway.  

 

Him changing his entire views, I could probably back this dynamic.  Yes.  Make the man see the light.  But him changing only  his perspective on and around her?  Where is that poison beer I still have from Goodneighbor because I swear I found a use XD

I liked that whole exchange with sis and the club. They...um...did all the heavy lifting there. I made coffee during that event. But, M was like "you did this on purpose" or whatever. Like, oh yeah, *I'm* the monster here. Too bad it wasn't longer. I should have saved there. I like to save on those dialogs so I can replay them at will. Just genius. I love them so much. One of my faves is the first time in the back room of Seven Bar with OB and all that dialog. Just genius.

There's just so much to love about this, it's crazy.

That mini skirt thing has always failed for me and he comments about it at the beginning but says it was an issue at the end everytime, this goes back to 6.8 as well.

Edit. Not sure what he actually pays though as I have never spent a single cap while playing these routes that I recall anyways. The OB freaks out about it as well after you go shopping in the market, so it's the correct skirt.

Thank you, Good Man. My Brett was also a black man, I tried everything: changed the boot order and redid BodySlide several times, nothing helped. I turned off X-Cell and wow, "magic", Brett became a normal gentleman.

The only thing I can deduce from here (I don't have the next gen version) is that Brett, Monique and Sophie are the only vanilla characters I've changed the face of.

 

Question: Sophie also has that problem?

I'm only using whatever clothing is either in the mod or is recommended. I went back to the first maid quest for larsen and the miniskirt worked as he gave me extra but the 2nd time it didn't. Not a deal breaker but thought it might be something to look into. I've done my share of programming\scripting and it's so easy to put a "," when it should be a ";" or whatever however i'm sure you get the idea.

It is in Papyrus scripts, not sure if there is a localization library/function for that without re-distributing the Papyrus source + compiled scripts and keeping them maintained with changes that JB makes.

i can't wait for nora route update! to tell the truth norita route is kinda boring personally, but i totally get it norita is slow burn route. i hope everyone will ridicule nora and treat her as a dumb girl in the next update, because that shit is hot.

Honestly, having just finished my first Norita run....Nora is a lot rougher both in content and execution, which makes sense since it was the bridge between CS and the more planned Norita story. Didn't expect the OB to be almost tolerable, but JB pulled it off pretty damn well for Norita!

 

That said, some things don't land for me: the whole Bulldog Cave episode was irritatingly railroaded (seriously, show some damn respect OB!) and it kept forgetting I was in the power armour after loading a save (exit/enter fixed it but by the time I got through the crashes I just didn't care and shot him), Gage's behaviour before GNN is inconsistent as if he keeps forgetting that the OB, Monique, AND Nisha are going to make his death spectacular and slow until he talks to Wes, and pretty much everything after the initial phase of Stepbrother 2 (feels like the setup was good, but went from learning from Mrs White to being pimped out to "racist stereotype" almost instantly and ignoring the brother story completely) just off the top of my head. Mostly a creative disconnect, admittedly, but also in trying to map the quests to Nora's timeline you get odd things like having/being able to film Fishking, Afterparty, Apollo, the dog advert with Kaiser, and Motorcycle before Stepbrother 2 and 3 so the fans might get a bit hacked off if they find datable evidence lol. Might be handled better on the Virgin/Bitch path?

 

Insofar as bugs/issues go, a LOT of pregnancies from odd acts (seems you've the handle on why that happens at least) including a cupcake-induced "immaculate conception" lol, a lot of vaginal scenes being called but not counted into the story as virginity-claiming (Nuka Club was particularly bad at this), multiple points where offering oral/anal would make sense but weren't an option and it was either virginity or bust (or called the wrong anim maybe?), Gatorclaws didn't trigger in Jungle, random friendly things being tagged as enemy to the gangs (gorilla during the dance in the Safari, possibly Solomon/Doberman and Gunners under his house), couldn't talk to Solomon under his house as they started "dead", the motorcycle being tiny when filming (pretty sure this required a refresh of the studio since it expanded when I filmed Afterparty), and despite having hardcore mode off I kept getting salads for some reason.

 

Incompatibility wise, a lot of issues with AN76 fatigue management, possible issues with Violate (inactive but installed), Poodle fight and the end of the strip club escape, and good lord do Modern Firearms and Mutant Menagerie up the difficulty a lot! Wasteland Dairy also has that irksome bug with cartoonish breast expansion even after dropping a contraceptive in the 24 hour window, but as with MF and MM that's user side, not NR related.

 

Suggestions, allowing you to stack 5 coffees from your apartment would be nice to buffer AN76 better. Given the preponderance of condom dispensers and odd FPE behaviours, might be nice to add a request condom option to some dialogues, maybe a few preg risk lines in movies like Nora's version of Plumber, Fishking, or a Plumber sequel (Maybe Mrs White's Debauchery). Also, though not asking you to go through and Voicelab already made content, the translation of "Stuffs" really ought to be "Things" in most places.

Part of the fun of Nora's route, at least what I wanted to point out, is that she gradually earns everyone's appreciation. I don't know if you have noticed, but since you recover the park for Nisha, the Disciples stop insulting you. The same since the Operators put Charlotte in the studio, the degrading dialogues from Operators stop completely.

 

The one I don't think I'll ever crack down on is the Overboss. It's kind of part of his charm in this route.

Well, playing this mod alongside other mods that change the game's mechanics so much is a horrible idea that I usually advise against. I couldn't handle all those crashes and bugs, so I'm surprised you stretched your experience to the end. Why do people insist on playing with the umpteenth "I'm messing with the base game and pass this headache on to another modder.esp" or the always adorable "I'm editing vanilla scripts and I packaged them in my ba2, good luck everyone.esp."

 

It hadn't occurred to me that in the non-virgin route, being able to film other scenes would be giving away the protagonist's situation 😵‍💫But this basically reveals that I focus on the canon route for reasons of time and practicality. Maybe I should come up with some excuse like: Corsican is filming but is saving the movies or some scenes for when the character "Charli" loses her virginity. 

 

Paradoxically, "Lucy in the Sky" is one of the most variable quest I have ever made. You can be a coward and get kidnapped, you can be brave and go and take on the enemy. You can kill the enemy without talking, you can convince them to continue peacefully, the Overboss has dialogue depending on your situation, Bulldog also has dialogue depending on whether you have a servo (you can't convince him if you're not wearing power armor), and he even makes an exception if you have a helmet. There are more guided quests in this mod, but honestly, after the time it took me to make Lucy in the Sky, I almost prefer to avoid creating multiple routes. I'm surprised you call it a railroad, to be honest. 🤔

 

Edit: I'm not planning on including pregnancy, babies, and children in my mod. I added condoms when the mod started, but now it's so big that I simply don't recommend playing with any mods other than my recommended ones.

Honestly I just assumed that things like being able to film with Apollo and vaginal sex scenes with Kells in the non-virgin route were being held onto until the release of the alleged defloration by Corsican so adding even a small dialogue to confirm this would definitely be a super quick workaround.  Nobody really comments on your work with Kells or Apollo, just the ad and first Stepbrother movie, so it didn't really destroy any of your mod lore allowing it

 

Most of the vaginal sex stuff I'm assuming is because they had other mods though.  Which I've used.  And played alllllll the way until the end of the Nora route before.  Fuuuuun stuff.  Many crashes.  Weird impacts on the world.  I'm so glad I added them after my first few playthroughs just to see how badly I could possibly destroy my game.  Beautiful.  For a person who loves to break things.  Not fun for average gaming.  That said, without those mods such as Violate and WDF, in the non-virgin route, the vaginal sex scenes are mostly with the OB (during the first Poker Night and occasionally during visits for chores/dog walking), you can choose to have sex with Apollo and the scene with Kaiser (which probably should not be allowed simply because that's supposedly an available commercial), Kells scene will be the one on the bike whereas in the virgin route you're limited to the blowjob, and then any scenes that would allow the same choice in the virgin route (poker night if you've lost your virginity by that point, for example).  Other than that, I've never ever experienced scenes that broke the lore without mods that forced them.  For some reason WDF likes to force vaginal scenes (likely for reproduction?) and sometimes Violate just does whatever the heck it feels like XD

I find it humorous that people complain about using mods that are on the 'does not play nice with' list and will full mod lists....they simply are missing the point of this masterpiece

for gods sake read the description page and understand what you are getting into and turn off all those mods you normally use.   Why are people even using pregnancy mods with this in the first place?   And there is almost no fighting....why is violate turned on....

 

Look I get it, I use a ton of mods like that on a regular basis, but they do not have a purpose when playing this mod.   Save them for when you are actually out in the commonwealth fighting raiders, super mutants and the normal batch of BoS idiots.

I know this has been covered before, and I though I had it fixed as the last time I ran the Norita route the truck had the proper textures.   I did double check to make sure nothing else was effecting the truck so it might be a graphical setting I forgot about.
