We have a Norita who does not want such a piercing (because eight labial rings!). The surgeon can put it in without compromising her hymen, but it's just too wild for her, or mabye she isn't his girl so she has no obligation. Or maybe she'll eat a cupcake that's not quite cooked right and fall back down in there. 

 

I'm interested in the idea of Sophie being there in the operating room to accompany the characters, eating a cupcake too, and starting to hallucinate all together in the pre-war. But I have to think about it over a cup of coffee.

 

I hope to define it well in the next few days.

 

Hopefully this helps rather than just adds to the already overwhelming options you already thought of and have been given but...

 

If you want to do a cosmetic surgery scene (I actually assumed this was not going to happen including the piercings so I'm happy to hear at least the piercings may be used) but aren't sure how to make it work, I don't know how difficult it would be to implement storywise or how you plan to connect the quests, if the scene plays out for the same reason (the Cassius thing) but about 15 years ago I worked in a dermatology and cosmetic practice and we actually had quite a few people around Norita's age come in for temporary cosmetic procedures as well as asking for (and being denied) more permanent ones, but Restylane was one of the most common ones used to plump lips and remove wrinkles if you want to research those types of fillers. 

 

They are types of lip fillers that are temporary (a few months) but you can also inject them into the butt and breast area as well, under generalized anesthesia.  This could allow for some sort of choice for players (and since the surgery center is in NT you could always have those who choose to continue the new look return similarly to how you have to return to music for hair trims and such), it would be temporary so it would be more logical a choice for a younger girl to be comfortable trying out, the excuse would be needing a temporary change that the OB may not even personally want her to do but still hoping the temporary change can give him an edge over Cassius which would negate animosity towards him from the player, so it's a more soft-core feeling in the request, and since this would be meant as an in-and-out procedure, you could have a Sophie scene as well.  Norita would be meant to only be around 30-45 minutes, probably need someone to help her walk home.

 

Maybe Sophie eats the cupcake when Norita goes under, and they end up in the same dream.  Maybe Norita takes a quick bite before anesthesia (regardless of choice on surgery, such as say for the piercings) and they don't realize it came from the batch mixed with the Nuka Rush and the combination explains why she's out for so long but also lets you do some sort of sequence with that.

@savantladylilith Thank you! Didn't know this restylane and I find it suggestive. I'll think about it. I don't know if in the long term the player would like to see how the character is deflating in the middle of a fight or while filming a porn xD Or imagine some NPC is praising your character's big breasts, but the timer just ran out and in the next dialogue he tells her how it would have been better for her to have big breasts.

 

I'm still attracted to the idea of something permanent (but adjustable) because your decision has more impact.

 

The context of the surgery is almost the same as in Nora's route, except that now Cassius is also going to be an important investor that we must impress. Hence Norita feels a certain obligation to at least put on the piercings and help the Overboss to get a deal.

 

I prepared a certain system for lips with collagen, platinum hair and tanned skin. These three things cannot be scripted, it's the player who must change it. It's an engine limitation. But I have it solved as long as the player "informs" my mod through the MCM.

 

In my canon, Nora transforms completely. Piercings, lips, hair, tan, boobs, butt. But not Norita, she only accepts wearing the Overboss piercings. However, I'm going to put all the options for whoever wants to go full bimbo.

Yeah no full bimbo for my Norita. She follows the whole romance route so she will get the piercings for her man. I still also hope she get the chance to get him to take her virginity like she asked him in the last episode.

I can't stop laughing at this image in my head now XD

I guess that'd mean even if you do a temporary version you definitely would have to have it deflate during sleep actions or something so this won't happen because truly I just can't stop laughing especially at the hypothetical NPC interaction if it removed the effect while awake

I assume this a part of what I saw in that quest you suggested, Poison Heart, a followup to the training with Kali?  The Cola Cars one, Poison Heart quest, I know it asked me about these aspects of my character and I had to change them manually in the mirror but then it recognized the changes I'd agreed to at the start of the quest

Judging by the fact that you are finishing version 6.9 for Norita, I believe that soon we will have some news about Nora route aswell, yay!

 In mcm there's a checkbox that determines whether the previous Commonwealth Slavers mod is completed or not, but I remember only 2 dialogs in the very beggining where Nora telling about her capture. 

It would be cool to see more impact from passing previos mod in the future. Of course if it is not time-consuming.

I only have a couple of characters who would go for this too, more of a sugar baby type but most of the characters I made follow this same route as yours.  I feel physical discomfort not choosing the romantic route at this point 🖤 and following the ending dialogues to the last chapter of this amazing interactive choose your own adventure smut-fic of a mod, I assume this will be an option at some point later in the storyline but I have a feeling it'll take a bit - but worth the wait most likely as are all good things.

I would strongly recommend playing commonwealth slavers (also by JB), then continuing Noras story into Nuka Ride. Its so incredibly well done and fits perfectly into the FO lore.

Why're you strongly recommending that when JB himself has strongly recommended not doing that? I also like playing CS and Nuka Ride back to back as Nora, but it does require some headcanon acrobatics to fit it seamlessly. Besides it wouldn't make sense to play CS if they want to try the Norita route.

 

@Rumi_Nanase, both NR and CS are story driven mods so it would both make the most sense if you play them right after getting out of the vault. They are also huge mods so you're better off modelling your modlist after them. Story wise, they are not gonna be compatible with the main quest line.If you were to play both CS and NR, you would have to start with CS. I'm not saying @icladel is wrong about how awesome CS and NR are together but JB never intended it to be played that way so it's not going to make perfect sense together. Huge difference in tone.

I think it is a matter of opinion and how you play your version of CS and how you set things up.  

I mean, when I played it, my Nora went from the events of CS, to Drumlin to try to sell some stuff, the robot was there recruiting, and she wandered over and heard his pitch.  She decided to go out and try to survive on her own, and that lasted about three days before she realized she wasn't going to be able to do it.  So she remembered the robot, made  her way back to Drumlin and hesitantly accepted the offer.

 

Now I set the mods up to do it that way sure, but as far as the story flow and immersion, that required no head canon acrobatics at all on my part.  It just flowed, and made a great story.    

probably the one of the greatest roleplaying stories I've ever played.

 

@JB. man, patiently waiting on the next version to try Norita.   You take your time, man, I hear Norita is so much better than Nora, because its all yours, and I can't wait to see it.  Wish I could just clone you and do  this level of mods for all kinds of games with the clones!

Hello JB, those are some really good insights, I'd really love to go full bimbo on both Nora and Norita as soon as update comes out, but I have several questions here.

First and main question is how you apply bimbo lips fillers on face from technical side? The only thing that comes into my head is that you manually adjust lips for face mesh and make small script to replace base face mesh with edited mesh? Because that what I did for my character, but without script, I just play with edited face mesh.

Second question is also from technical perspective. I'm very interested how you gonna enforce platinum hair color and tanned skin on player? Afaik, Looksmenu does not allow such manipulations since skin and hair color are manipulated in LM.

and I might allow myself some audacity to be a little nerdy🤓 here. I reckon with word collagen you understand lip fillers, imo most popular and known lip filler is hyaluronic acid filler

That is a way but it won't work for my Norita she is on the romance path. Nothing romantic about banging a guy in a mirelurk costume. It should be more something like it was previously with the raider queen quests.

during the Norita quest, before starting the special girls quest, I go and talk to Gage at the entrance of the park and he tells me to go and visit the overboss and then Nisha, I go and do the quests, I come back to the present, the quest comes out completed, but then I go back to the entrance, in front of the car Gage is no longer there, he has disappeared

he moved? or did a bug happen?

Well, I just checked the scripts and no previous quest touches Gage. the walk Lyons quest, visit Nisha, Sanctuary. Doesn't he have a marker over his head?

the quest should be in stage 10, check it out.

Maybe I expressed myself badly, but I can't implement it via script. The player will have to inform me by other means (e.g. MCM).

 

I'm not really into lips filler, I'm stuck in the collagen era. I will look into it properly when I get around to writing about it. 😶‍🌫️

Slavers dialogues end when Nisha offers you her job as a mule. Nora says she's already familiar with it and, instead of cringing in pain, she has the normal idle.

 

But I remember afterwards I didn't feel much need to implement it anymore. And eventually Slavers 2 completely changed course, so while both mods are compatible, I don't know if they're still narratively compatible.

 

Now, 'finishing 6.9” is relative. Since I got permission to include a pre-war exterior I have been implementing it. I can't believe how much work Konata had to do to adapt it to Fallout 4. It's simply brutal. Case in point. Putting an outfit into this mod requires bringing usually 4 to 6 textures, making 3 to 5 materials. Konata's exterior consists of more than 150 materials and I don't want to count the textures.

 

Once I deal with that there are quests to do. Sometimes I need a clone or something.😶‍🌫️
