It sounds like there is something wrong with your mod installation, what it is I do not know but I would start with the page 1 requirements (on this topic) and make sure you have everything installed that is marked as a hard requirement including the AAF stuff, it seems like your already missing dependencies like TRS.  I don't know how JB coded this scene, but it's possible that he is waiting for the scene's end event from AAF to progress the quest.  It sounds like potentially more missing dependencies, I believe the pole dance animation comes from Savage Cabbage's Animations.

 

I would play without survival mode first to make sure you have everything setup right.

Yeah I use Vortex at the moment, but I cant get the game to launch anymore so I definitely mega fucked something up trying to troubleshoot lol, ill keep this in mind if i can get the game working again

I have Sexual Harassment installed but disabled for this play through. The only other mod that I can see that involves this type of behaviour is Boston Devious Helper.

The pole in your room is a little delayed. You can activate it with E but then it takes some time until the dance starts.

It only occurs to me that the navmeshes are edited by another mod. I remember Sim Settlements 2 edits the original place by another, and that makes Gage not know where to go. But who knows how many other mods could be doing the same thing.

It's definitely another mod but no idea at the moment. I don't have sim settlements installed and Boston Devious Helper wasn't the culprit.

I remember having something similar with I think NG, Gage was going nuts and PC was falling through the floors in GNN.  I don't recall if I had SS2 at the same time (I don't think so).  But generally on 1.10.163.0 (old version) no issues with that whole GNN setup.  Could it be something with CFM/UFO4P on NG?

Hey, I'm stuck in Fly me to the Moon quest, facing Music on the helipad. I got almost good decisions in automatic reponds except the last and Dobberman finally "control me" too; then Fever came, speak two phrases... and that's all. I know we must start dance but nothing happen. I try to speak with them but only repeats the same things, Fever about dancing and Music about she did it.

 

If I skip this stage quest, Music and I keep with dark mist in our bodies. Any ideas?

Another observation I had about this same bug, I noticed that in 100% of my really early playthroughs I would crash here. I started with bare minimum to get the mod running and slowly added dependencies over time.  Without fail since first time playing as Norita, I had this CTD. The moment I installed KFT for some reason, which was one of 3 I had left to add - BP70 and RZF were the only other 2 still left - this scene no longer did a CTD, even once.  It also fixed the NukaLab scene later for Norita, playing the scenes fully and correctly.  Removing Ultimate AAF Patch also fixed Cora's store inventory bug and prevented the occasional bug where the package during Raider Queen won't even show up (a separate issue from the CTD on opening it).

 

I am not sure why this would impact the scene or opening of the box on a technical side, but I haven't had this CTD in around 2 months now. If you can replicate this then maybe that will help you either figure out a fix or know what else to recommend in addition to the other solutions 🖤

When you move and remove mods, the mod manager usually adjusts the load order again so the answer can come from there. At least that's how it is with Vortex.

 

I have Cora's bug too and I don't even know where to start looking. I installed this mod but haven't gone back through her store yet.

 

I have been told that those who have CTD at Nuka Lab, solved the problem with Weapon Debris Crash, since there is so much laser shooting there.  I'm going to edit the main page among the suggested mods.

You did well to skip it with the setstage, but now you must dissolve the “infected” effect. Here are the two commands.

What confused me most before about the CTD is: I'm not and wasn't using any mods that are not listed on the NR page aside from very recently adding Cheat Terminal (which I use only for adjusting player height and to allow save and fast travel while in survival), Workshop Plus, Workshop Framework which both were added more recently, so at the time it was ONLY possibly Cheat Terminal and first time I played the mod used UAAFP which I thought I'd need since I had so many of the animations packs and the Official Guide mentions using it.  Looking back I think it was preventing certain scenes and moments from playing out as intended.  

 

I'm using MO2, the way that I'd started playing is I'd found NR because someone recommended CS to me, and I saw you'd made another quest mod, so I created a new instance on MO2 entirely (basically, you are starting fresh with no mods even installed at that point), and I installed only AAF, Themes, CBBE, NukaRide - didn't even use the voices yet - and the CBBE bodyslide for NR.  As I did with Slavers, I slowly began adding the soft dependency and recommended mods until perfect and complete, one at a time making a whole new character so as not to add or remove anything mid-game. I would make a new "profile" which would allow me to enable mods in the order I want them in for my load order, double check load order and plugins order, then launch a new game.  I sorta struggled with console commands through it on Norita (Nora route was mainly fine even with so many missing details) for around 120-130ish hours, before I added the final mods and realized everything suddenly worked with just a few minor issues.

 

Cora's inventory has been odd and ongoing for us all I feel. I get it working 9 out of 10 times but the one time I can't is usually when I really need to sell or buy something

I actually have never had a crash here although it does push my beast of a PC to do some things she never thought she'd ever have to do - my issue has been a stalling issue.  Without KFT it doesn't initialize the scene with the balloons for Norita - possibly because of the lack of the suit, even though I do get the skipping scene notification.  I've done this across 2 instances, and multiple profiles now, so that's where I came to my conclusions about the importance of these dependencies when using your (incredi....exceptiona...soul soothing and phenomenal made with love) mod

Basically what happens is as Norita and only in that route, I talk to Baldwyn, he sedates me, I get the skipping AAF scene box, after short black screen I am still on the cross and nothing advances.  This alone does push my PC so it may also cause a crash for someone using an older PC.  I can force myself off of the cross through the MCM for the devices, but can't interact with either Boris or Baldwyn who are standing where they're meant to be at the end of the hall, where I appear in the pet suit before getting the balloons.  Previously, before installing KFT, I would bypass this with console commands, which would allow the balloons to appear and I could complete this.  I advanced myself to the stage where the balloons would appear, collect them, get the notification that all 8 were found and I get my reward.  

 

It does as expected until reaching the lab with my sister.

 

Upon activating her, everything plays normally up until the scene where I get the weapon from Kellogg.  CTD was happening so I would open the console at that moment and let it sit, eventually a notification pops up saying I've collected the balloons, again, exit console and it won't crash.  Also if you use console commands to bypass the balloon game entirely it will not CTD when you get the weapon, as the second notification won't try to pop up at all.  

 

Once this takes place everything plays as normal until the end of the quest

 

As Nora I noticed that without the torture devices I had a similar issue, in that occasionally skipping an AAF scene then puts me in a stalled state and I have to bypass with console commands, but no CTD issues for me personally

Yeah JB doesn't call out engine fixes specifically, and some of your issue could be overwrite order or load order related.  It's really best to look for the crash log and seek help on that.  Perhaps paste your crashlog to pastebin and link it here.  If you want to compare, I am on 1.10.163.0 (not Next Gen 1.10.984.0), and this modlist works well without any crashing (I'm using FG + BodyTalk, so obviously things are different).

I would note that for some reason I have RobCo Patcher (it's always handy to have anyways), Rubber Duck's SAKR Repo and SAKR, and I don't quite remember why.  I don't think any of these mods require it and I probably just missed it when I built my Nuka Ride profile from my "base adult" (aka TFM) profile.  But perhaps if the CTD is your biggest issue then post your crash log.

This reminds me that I don't play with the Nuka World patch made by Izzy. My setup is as basic as possible for testing purposes. I just checked it with F4edit and, welp, Nuka World Patch has 12 cells with broken precombines. I'll see if I can fix it and send it to Izzy with the new version. It's not 100% cause of CTD, but rather causes a drop in performance and fluidity.

 

Thanks for the report! I just looked at the script and it turns out I forgot a line in case you don't have KFT, in the laboratory. My mod warns you that you don't have it and will skip stages... but it never does (setstage _nukaride_heaven 288 ) 🫣 Will have it fixed for the next version.

I'm really glad I was able to help you with your project in some way, I feel somewhat honored.  You're doing amazing work here with this, and I know it doesn't pay the bills so this is made from the heart and to share what you enjoy, and I just love the passion you put in and the vibe of your little community here 🖤 I never comment on LL for a reason until your mod, for a reason, but I really want to see where this goes and how it grows I'm only sad I didn't find this until now, because I truly love to come here and to play your mod to just escape this awful world for a bit, and you do help us to do so, so thanks for fixing this for people to have a more smooth experience!  

 

Oh!  And you just reminded me, I also noticed this totally random almost irrelevant bug you may not even want to look into, but it's during Seven Bar (the quest).  Basically I used the patch before trying without, so I didn't even notice the missing dialogue, but without the patch a single line of dialogue happened that I didn't know was there since I'd added that early on:

In the quest for Norita while in Seven Bar before the Audition, I'm fairly sure the quest is called SevenBar, it's the one where you ask Katelyn to work at the bar.  

 

Without Izzy's patch works fine, with Izzy's patch I noticed a small lag or something when you deliver the beers to guests in the bar.  

 

You pick up the crates with Sophie, deliver them to their spot.  She asks that you hand out some beers. When you take one to the Overboss, there is a dialogue along the lines of "that's a good bitch, you know what Daddy likes" before the buttslap event.  With the patch, you deliver the beer and it does the buttslap event without the dialogue, followed by your response and then removing that marker as you already delivered that beer.  Without it, you get the dialogue and then it continues as it should.  I'm not sure if it's related to the patch, or something else but that's been really consistent for me at least

Are the crash logs you're referring to the little logs folders that appear in MO2 at the bottom, or would I need to use Buffout or another mod or application for this?  I'll make a pastebin account so I can contribute to this as well, once I find the logs you're referring to 🖤

 

Oh, sounds like we're doing things similarly.  You have several mods that I do not, but I'm also on the old gen .163 version on GOG, with FG and BodyTalk!  Right now my game is flawless aside from 3 misaligned AAF scenes that don't break the game but I'm interested to see what it says if I remove the mods like KFT and then view these crash logs

The Robco Patcher and Rubber Duck's thingy are definitely not required by NR or anything NR requires, I believe SAKR is related to the Skimpy Armor mod?  I'm guessing this helps you with your attributes based on clothes and such? and then the Robco Patcher is related to a weapons mod I believe?  You probably left them as dependencies or aids for one of the other mods you kept 🖤

So after having played up to the point in 6.8 that I got the pop up that's all for now doing Norita's path, I gotta say that I actually enjoyed the extra content (if not the lack of sex scenes obviously) & looking forward to seeing what else is in store for the lass. I really enjoyed the inclusion of Sophie's character & her family, plus 'Auntie Nisha' was effing hilarious lol. It was kinda cute to see this little girl charming all these tough, ruthless raiders & having them all eating outta her hand. Can't wait to see what's next for her.

Yes you would want Buffout 4 NG (it supports 163 and 984 versions of the game), that is the crash logger.  It will dump log files in your My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE folder you should see a crash-*.txt file.  As for pastebin, you can just post anonymously (no account needed), or you can attach them to your post here (it's a bit easier on pastebin).

Robco Patcher is a swiss army knife, it allows you to modify records in the ESM/ESL/ESP at run-time, there is a lot you can do without having to produce your own plugin patch.  It usually used with SAKR (Skimpy Armor Keyword Resource), fairly sure I have those there because of Sexual Harassment which I don't use in this loadout but just forgot to disable them.  SAKR basically (if you have the armor patches, which is what Robco Patcher + Rubber Duck's mod helps with) identifies how much clothing your character is wearing, mods like LCC (Latex Collar Curse) and Sexual Harassment use it to enforce punishments or dish out more harassment.  Sexual Harassment is honestly annoying sometimes if your letting your PC be too much of a slut.

 

Early on I had Sexual Harassment enabled on my first play-through and found out how it broke dialogue pretty bad with Nuka Ride.  Other dialogues are recoverable, but some of them with Nuka Ride basically bricks the NPC.

 

I use the equivalent SkyPatcher on Skyrim to bump merchant gold, zap weights and add keywords to armor.  SkyPatcher/RobCo Patcher is like the Skyrim equivalent KID + SPID in one plus a whole lot more.

Well, I just finish Nuka Ride 6.8 on Nora's Route and I have to say that was amazing; mod is so well programed, designed and very stable. It´s one of the best questline mods I have played, like almost a complete DLC, with a large story and hilarious events.

 

I didn't expect so many changes so I commited the error to play this mod before the vanilla DLCs, so I will have to make a new save without it 😅. But anyway I enjoyed it, I will reinstall it in the future bucuse I would like to know the Norita route, a route of an extremely submissive or, on the contrary, rebellious Nora. even to find out if it has a history connection with Commonwealth Slavers.

 

The only issues a had were:

- Lucy in the Sky. In Andrew's Station, Bulldog can´t find the way to the ring (I reported before in this topic and I solved it)

- Masons meet Overboss, when animations played CTD. Searched solution, disable dynamic camera

- Fly Me to the Moon. In the Veesel of Brotherhood, some problems with Music dialogues and events, solved with several game loads

 

One warning for who have installed Boston Breeders mod too, Being a Mule repetable quest collide, they share the same bulilding Greenhouse in Diamond City . I had to maked deliveries with a mix of roleplay and commands. (Go to City, confront Keyshawn, go to the objective door and put command)

 

And for last, one question. I have Commonweatlh Captives, when I approach to talk to the captives they tell me to leave them alone all the time but before they don't did that; I search for a solution and found that it is produced by "Global  EBCC_PlayerIsEnslaved". Nuka Ride triggers this? And if yes, Can I quit it?, because I finishied the story, I don't think other mod enslaved or captured me and I want continue explore the Commonwealth

Crash Log Auto Scanner & Setup Integrety Checker (CLASSIC) is also a good tool to pinpoint whats wrong with your setup and analyse these often complicated crashlog, you can run it as executable in MO2, saved me lot of headaches lately
