Go to the Mega page and hit the big Download button and Download as Zip. That will download everything. (you only need to do it once, then later you can just grab the individual files as they get updated.)

Once it's done extract the zip, then you can install Nuka Ride and any other needed parts like voices and BodySlide files from inside that folder.

it depends 

if  you activate NR before finishing CS = Duke dead and must go through Charon = Nora route only

 

if you activate NR (for the first time) only AFTER finishing CS = Duke Alive = both Nora and Norita route available (Nora route makes better sense)

 

the way that has worked for me every time is fully finish CS, go do something else for a game day (i usually get/make a very basic settlement out of Starlight Drive-In)

then go into Vault 111 (make a hard save), then activate NR and when exiting Vault 111 and Duke will be alive and i can choose which route.

 

the key here is if NR is EVER active before fully finishing CS (and going somewhere else for a game day afterwards that is not by Vault 111) = Duke dead.

i use MO2 so it might be a bit different on how it looks if you use vortex

if you notice the section outlined in red on the left side you can see i have NR installed, but if you look on the right side you can see

it is not active (yet) which means Duke has never appeared yet.  so when i activate it he will appear for the first time.

 

the reason i have not started NR this game (yet) is my poor Nora is currently pregnant, and as soon as she delivers her baby she will be going there.

 

hope this clarified what i was saying before.

That's a start.

You'll also need the BodySlide for which ever body your using and the voices from the Optional folder at a minimum.

Not sure if this has been reported yet, but there is clearly a typo in this dialogue about finding his mother.

 

The ritual part in Far Harbor seems pretty much bugged for me as well. If I pick the wolf there, nothing happens. Like nothing at all, I'm just getting stuck. If I pick the guy there, he just humps the air for 3 seconds and then gets to prey with everyone else, but it allows me to finish the quest at least.

So I'm working through the latest 6.8.5 patch and I'm on the _NukaRide_mule 220 stage (alt Route).

In Sanctuary, I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be doing...but if I go back to canon Nate and Nora's house, I get the prompt for the options you get when using Alt_Start when you pass the bathroom door (with Nate inside). 

 

If you select any of the options that aren't "I'd like to stay here" you go right back to the beginning of the game just outside the vault...probably not intended

 

The only way I could get out of the dream (and I probably missed something) was to console force to stage 230.

 

Advice/Help appreciated!

 

*update* So the quest marker for Isabella doesn't auto appear, you have to journal in. Guessing that's deliberate?

I'm on the audition mission(first one) for Nora and I finish the stripper pole and the scene after but the quest doesn't up date, so I tried talking to mason again but it starts the animation and gets stuck in a loading screen.

Is there a way past this/skip this part/or am doing it right

Currently having some issues with Norita's route. Some quests I have had to set stage things to get past, but I assume thats because this is new and being developed. But I have hit a roadblock I cant figure out how to cross. I got all three of the stats up to 100 and talked with dara, but that quest never completes on its own unless i do the set stage stuff. But then after that, I have no idea what to do. "The Audition" quest says to talk with mason, but it says ive already done that, and that is the only step. I have no idea where it is or what to do, and the golden globes studio isnt even there in nuka world. Any suggestions on what could fix this?

If you are using any Unique Player bodies, try moving FusionGirl.esp above UniquePlayer.esp. I prefer U.P.F which has an AAF patch and build-in Unique Player Armor Plugin. You can use skimpy vanilla armor mod and still has different mesh from NPCs.

I wanted to try CS + NR together to see other paths through the stories. Because it's fun and why not? I got into a challenging spot where Charon won't talk to me. My Nuka Ride quest stage is 45 (see pic).

How I got to this point:

1. Installed CS, NR, and Start Me Up Redux (NR version).
2. Resurrected Duke and moved to player to start dialog.
3. Chose Young branch which took me to the farm.
4. Decided to return to Vault 111 when Brett offered the choice.
5. Played through CS.
6. At Runaway Slave, I attempted to escape to Nuka World via Charon, but he told me no because of the collar and slave markings. 
7. Finished True Ending of CS.
8. Wiped out the raiders in Corvega because...yeah. I hate those guys. (Perversion made that really hard.)
9. Did some Sanctuary and Concord stuff to get healthy. Finally slept in a bed (with structure!).
10. Returned to Charon at Drumlin Diner, but he won't talk.

No complaints because I did it to myself, but I'm wondering if there's a path to NR at this point?

 

EDIT: I used SetStage _NukaRide 100 to advance, and it took me to Kaiser minus 30 caps.

[Not an official answer] I had a similar situation. I had to find Dara at the Hubologist Camp and talk to her there. Talking to Dara in Kiddie Kingdom did not advance the quest. If you have a save before you advanced the stage, maybe try that. Take your vespa to the camp to find her. After you successfully talk with Dara, you do an audition with Kaiser (similar to the Nora route).

3. Chose Young branch which took me to the farm.

fast version

1 - install CS and NR

2 - activate just CS stuff

3 - play thorugh CS (and a day or so afterwards)

4 - make a hard save (inside Vault 111 is good spot)

5 - activate NR

6 - exit Vault 111 and then play NR

Are you using any HiPoly Faces REDUX? I noticed it had some conflict with Unique Player mods. Are your Unique Player Texture folders installed in the correct directory? If yes, I think it's the Unique Player(latest upload 2015) conflicting with other mods. Try switching to Unique Player Framework mod it's latest upload was in 2019.

Stuck on a quest with Dara, I have all my skills leveled up to 100 and now I need to talk to Dara, when I go to her she doesn't want to talk to me and just tells me to settle all my affairs, but what kind of affairs? I have already developed all my skills to 100.

It is a way of telling you that you are still in the middle of a training quest (or you still need to sleep to finish it). Finish it first.

It is likely that the mod has encountered an unexpected scenario. But, yeah, it is safe to travel with setstage 100 or also 50.

Hey everyone! I'm planning to replay NR 6.8 soon. Or prepare and wait for NR 6.9. Until then I want ask for your advice, what is the best way to optimize Nuka Town area in general and the fountain especially. Because it deals for me heavy FPS drops when I looking in the direction of fountain. Even when I dont see it directly or it is not even rendered properly. Is there any optimization mods for it or config-graphical tweaks. Because my fps in general is above 60 all the time in commonwealth and far harbor even with 700+mods perfectly working setup.

Since Nuka World Patch does not come with pre-combines, you will suffer from frame drops. Try without the patch, Nuka Ride runs smooth without the Nuka World patch, but you miss all those cools details. So it's a bit of a aestetic/performance decision.

 

And don't expect 6.9 so soon. It's a slow process and I'm also busy with work, so.... 🤕

So, it's not like a training quest magically ends with a simple sleep. You have to do everything the training quest asks you to do, and when the quest ends, the mod tells you to sleep. When you wake up, you get a notification that you can now talk to Dara.

 

 

As you can see, Dara says it when you are “doing a quest”, which are the training quests.

 

So I have three questions and answer me honestly:

1-Do you have any training quest to finish? Should it be in the Pipboy.
2-If there is no training quest in the pipboy, what was the last training quest you did?
3-Have you used console commands to skip stages?

Okay, first post on this sight buy holy hell dude.  I got this mod set up and played the Norita path. I was fully expecting a light version of the Nora path, but I didn't realize how light on sex it was. But i didn't care. I have become emotionally attached to these characters man. Sophie is a gem and I would burn the world down for her. The BoS captain while pervy, also seems to care for Norita. Fucking Kellog seems like a saint when Norita gets her mitts on him. I love characters like Auntie Nisha, Brett, and even William (but honestly, its more like love to hate him, god he's so dumb). Other things I lover were Keyshawn(where are you chocolate thunder) and That cupcake scene. The cupcake scene almost had me in tears and I reverted my bodyslide to my default look for a more natural feel.

 

I am so loving the romance that I have going on between OB and Norita. The fact that you were able to take a bloodthirsty warlord and turn him into a caring overprotective father figure is amazing. The fact that a i played as a young virgin who basically wraps all of Nuka World around her in this weird overprotective bubble is amazing.

 

I was leaning pretty hard into the virgin uncorrupted theme at first that I almost skipped becoming OB's bitch, but I am so glad that I did. I found myself skipping past sex scenes (not every one, heh) just for more of the story. I can't wait to see how some of your plotlines play out.

 

I am not exaggerating when I say that I could have uninstalled AAF and I still think I would have enjoyed my time. It took me about 20 hours to catch up to the end of patch 6.8, but It really has me hyped for more.

 

I guess what I'm saying is, keep up the amazing work. You can tell this has been a labor of love and I am excited to see what you have in store for the future. If you ever need help, hit me up.

 

On a related note, if you ever get to a place where you consider it a final release, if you need a spellchecker, I'm there. I enjoyed my time so much, I want to give back. 

 

I don't know how you feel about feedback and ideas, but I found myself coming up with some for some of the other options. But when I finally found what you considered your canon playthrough, I committed to it as close as I could and I was not disappointed.
