Hello Good 🙂

                            I'm on NG and was running great with the young- v, Rich girl.  Doing the Kellogg Quest, as soon as i hit the mark to wait to be called

                             it says "The Tenet Hated That" and i get this lovely message when told to go ask the gardener if he needs anything.

Hmm, so you didn't move during the conversation but the mod thought you moved? I'll check it out.

Okay, it's @izzyknows patch. I implemented a new failsafe so that Norita always faces the table. 

 

 

Norita is transported to this red marker. But she must be inside the triggerbox on her left.

So now I moved the marker inside the triggerbox. Made the triggerbox a little more bigger.

Here's Izzy's patch corrected, I'll delete it from here when Izzy update it.

Ok Thank you for the quick response, I saved right before serving the table so will wait for Izzy's wonderful world patch update.

I started a Nora at the same time and not one glitch or oddity and just started the new ride quest, Soooo going to get mad at Willem lol🙃😁

I made the box even a tiny bit bigger... just in case, because I've noticed the PC doesn't end up in exactly the same spot every time.

And moved the lean marker by the weapons workbench so it wasn't inside the bench.

Fixed a little bit of the Frat House navmesh. Will probably just redo it completely at some point.

I just started a new game , when i exit the vault i meet duke,but when i look at him a msg pops up and says the XDI.dll is not running. I checked the f4se plugin file and it is there at the bottom of the list, so did i miss something? thanks.

Hello, To follow your advice I would like to switch from CBBE to FusionGirl, I found the adaptations of the majority of the outfits I had. The question I ask myself is for the textures. The ones I use with CBBE are "Oni asian face parts" "Oni cbbe nude fitness wet re-texture" "Oni Face re-texture" So they won't work? If not, are there suitable textures (I found 2 but 8k stuff)? (I see in your download files "Nuka Ride - Textures for the Girls 1.1" is it for FG?)

No idea, that message is not mine. It sounds to me like you have the next gen version of Fallout but you have pre next gen mods, like the one you mention. If you have more weird behaviors in the game (like dialogs not respecting tempos) it's probably because of the same cause. Not all mods warn you about that. 

 

You have to manually check the mods that use F4SE (those are the ones that should be updated). The bad thing is that there are some that don't have next gen version so you will have to disable them.

It should work (CBBE textures), but better if you use skins made for Fusion Girl because they have textures of parts that don't exist in CBBE. I recommended Kziitd's skin, it's linked in my main page. 

 

 

Facial textures: Mine are not 2K, they are 1K (vanilla). But they are eyebrows, makeup, etc. They are not facial textures like you think. Kziitd have facial textures in the link I told you about.

The overlay problem you mentioned only happens with the next gen version. Double check that your version of LooksMenu is the right one. Maybe you have the new version of LooksMenu and you need the old one.?

 

The next gen version also has weird behavior with dialogs according to some reports (I don't have it updated). But if you have the same version as me, then I'm lost about that one 🤔

How did you downgrade?  Perhaps that makes the difference, I did a full downgrade using Steam console and downloaded the old executables & asset depot files and just put them in a separate FO4 Game folder with a separate MO2 instance pointing there.  Some of the mods like Simple Downgrader I have heard downgrade executables but retain some of assets from NG, so perhaps that is a contributor with your dialogue issues.

 

You might be using the wrong version of a particular mod, any base game patch mods like UFO4P or CFM?  Also LooksMenu 1.6.18 seems to be fine, running that with LMCC.

I am using Looks Menu 1.6.20 with FO 163.  The 2k version of LMCC will introduce the blackface bug that even the mod that fixes the blackface but doesn't seem to fix.

I knew you were aware of the issues, I just wasn't aware if it was a global fix like it seems like it is, or if you needed to know each conflicting mod.  Glad it's the first and it's not something you need to keep issuing hotfixes for every time one of us degenerates found a new scene that triggered it. :)

1.6.20 supposedly has broken morphs, so the manual was recommending 1.6.18.  I don't use 2k face textures, so no issues with LMCC.  As far as I know LMCC shouldn't matter for their issue, just called it out in case they are comparing things.

 

As I am sure most people know there can be a lot of fiddly bits with mod interactions, sometimes it's kind of a pain in the ass to track it down, so for this mod I like to just use the recommended load out + base game patches (UFO4P/CFM) + FallUI (because FO4 UI sucks without it), and of course the full downgrade because I don't know if I trust something that co-mingles mixed assets from a new game version with an old game version executable -- sounds like trouble to me.

So I just ran into this problem as well.  The old quest marker used to be centered with the table and it worked every time.  Now the quest marker is to the left of the table and it fails every time, even with the patch you have made.  No matter how it is approached, it always pops up the message the tenant disliked that, though the character assumes the proper pose.

Here's where it's at right now. Which is exactly the opposite of your experience. It was to the left, now it's centered with the table.

The place is really perfect. In fact I would have put it there in my quick patch too.


But objects that are grabbed by quests (like that triggerbox), once grabbed, never move from their original place. Basically, even though you have already moved it, in the WaterRabbit save it is still where you originally left it. 

 

So you need a new save or a save where “Home Chores” has not yet been started. Or, as a last resort, return the triggerbox to more or less where it was before, and enlarge it so that it can catch the red headmarker.

So they're like navmesh. It's baked into your save and don't "generally" update until a new save. 👩‍🔬

Here's the second round of Chores with Larson. Updated after the first round and the marker is still in the original place but the stand spot is correct.

Buuut... it fails the diligence part.

Ok after some sleep, the marker is fine but it as soon as you step into it it tells you as it moves you "The Tenet didn't like that" and you get the same frailer message as I showed.

So shortly ago I downgraded to NukaRide to 6.8.0h and it all worked, got the tenet liked it message. Hope this helps in some way, 🙂
