AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

Please don't kill me, I'm probably the only one dislikes the Norita route

The new quests are truly magnificent, like the magnet in your heart (is the quest name a reference to something?).

The adapted old quests however...

Damn she is more Mary Sue than Mary Sue herself🫣

I don't mean to dismiss the marvel that is this mod, it just feels that Norita gets away with everything in the adapted old quests and grows more bullyish (and there is no option Not to do that). It makes me dislike Norita as a character.

Don't mind me I'm just venting out😭

I'm not fully familiar with the term Mary Sue, had to google it to be entirely sure,

Spoiler

but she might have died if Kellogg hadn't intervened and canonically she's only killed one guy (and was saved by Harlowe to acomplish that).

The only thing I can think of Norita being a bully is with the mechanics, when she threatens that the Overboss has her back, but it's literally Earl calling the Overboss a “fucking psychopath” and she's offended by that, not to mention both of them taking advantage for her.

Anyway it's hard to give consequences to someone who is literally the economic hope of Nuka Town. You mess up and she leaves the project.

I don't want to fall into doing to Norita what Nora has gone through. I think it would be like tricking the player with a soft story at the beginning, and then jumping on them with something strong like branding her in a quaint raider or getting her whored to Elder Maxson, it's not what is being played in this route, it wouldn't seem consistent to me.

No, but seriously, I appreciate the feedback.  👌

So they're like navmesh. It's baked into your save and don't "generally" update until a new save. 👩‍🔬

What? This is the first time for this quest on this run.  So there isn't anything to be baked into the save at this point.  Literally before I ran this quest I put in your updated patch.  This is what I see:

Spoiler

image.png.d81b2018e1356339029dd6bb2af005bd.png

When I stand on the quest marker, the popup of the tenant dislike that shows up. Nuka Ride 6.8.1b and Nuke Patch 1.10

Update: If I disable the Nuka Patch in MO2, the scene works like it should, so this seems to be caused by the patch.

Update 2: If I move the Nuka World Patch above Nuka Ride it fails again with the Tenant Hated that.

The part that feels off for me is not hardcore softcore or Norita's body count (I really appreciate the jokes around Nora that everyone thinks she is a masochist and useless in combat, and I equally appreciate that Norita just can't help but seduce someone as soon as there's a chance many times even unintentionally). The problem is in the adapted quests and characters, every person MUST serve Norita unconditionally. (Things like joining OB's herem isn't a condition or "sacrifice", not even an effort on Norita's side, instead it's Norita showing "favors" on the OB, because it's a player choice and there's no meaningful consequence if the player chooses not to give such favors. ) The friendly characters showed an unreasonable amount of favoritism and tolerance like

Spoiler

The entire gang of Disciples decides on day one this "new girl" is the gang's mascot now and everybody must be ready to die to protect her nails because, you know, the leader's old friend speaks well of her.

Solomon, a seasoned drug dealer, simply leaves 2 young mules doing whatever they like in his home and lets them go without even checking the merchandise.

The leader of the most successful raider gang that is the OB, thinks it's a good idea to let a woman with strong ties to Disciples get close to him and have his authority obstructed. Oh boy his brain is full of dicks...

As soon as Norita demands, the OB immediately pulls off half of the girls away from his long-planned, VIP-exclusive, high-budget, high-impact brothel that serves his most powerful business partners.

Boris & Baldwyin: We are evil scientists!😈 We made a synth of you to replace you and spy on the raiders! 😈 And, we will run tests on you and kill you and dispose of your corpse because you are just a guinea pig!😈 But in the meantime, we have this small game you can play😍, and we prepared a gift for you🥰, and it's totally ok if you don't feel like playing it🤗 because you're cute and we like you😇❤️❤️

Poodle has the greatest superpower in the wasteland and no weapons have hurt him! Too bad he meets the Invincible Norita who can use console commands without even bringing up the console! Naturally, he just gets blasted into dust by a pistol coming out of nowhere.

Anyone not serving Norita well faces severe consequences.

Spoiler

You don't want to end like Earl and Hal right? You value your house right? You don't want a beeping explosive collar around your neck right? You know what to do, kiss the queen's shoe when she comes around! 🥹

A "Mary Sue" character has the rules and the world bent towards them, usually to make the plot favored towards them and often without sufficient justifications. Norita's line feels out of place because she is "granted" with excessive respect and love, without having to prove she deserves them.

Man, it gets complicated to answer when you ridicule and oversimplify to an extreme.

Boris is evil and that he wants to force her under threat of electrocuting her, but Baldwyn always intercedes on her behalf because he's her fan and that's why she can choose to take or not take the test. Boris electrocutes her when Baldwyn is not around, and also lies to her about the prize. There is no prize. What's the point of giving a prize to someone who is going to die.

Reducing it to “you're cute and we like you” made my jaw drop. It's purposely skipping the whole context and that's why I suspect writing this is wasting my time.

The OB weighs which project suits him best. Either his club or the Golden Globes project, so he picks the one that seems best for him and that doesn't conflict with the protectionist character I've made. How is a guy who refused to let Norita and Sophie work as whores in his bar now going to force two young girls to do that? I got to show an evolution of him as a person, not because his head is full of dicks.

Man, I can keep explaining but I think there's no point.

Anyway, I insist that I am grateful for the criticism. It's not the typical “this is bullshit and that's it”, but it came justified. Just don't go too close to this route for your sanity. 😉

I'm looking at Izzy's edit is correct. If you get out of this triggerbox Kellogg gets mad.

Now, from my past experimentations, as I said, this change will only be reflected in a save where you never started “Home Chores” (50% sure, but I have my doubts), or directly in a new save (100% sure). Of all are a few points of diligence. 😃

I really don't understand what you are saying here. At no point does the character have the opportunity to get out of the trigger box.  Character goes to the mark, the script takes over and the pop up happens.

This was on a fresh new game and the very first time this part of the quest came up, so there isn't an opportunity to bake anything into a save.  Again if I remove the patch, the quest does what is expected.

So at this point the only way to "fix" this would be to start again without the patch installed, because of course removing it after it has been baked into a save will create problems.

That is a vanilla sit bug that I reproduced and sent the save file to one of the developers. Only to be told it's not their issue.

But Fallout 76 had the exact same bug, which I reported after less than an hour of playing the beta, and was corrected in patch 2 or 3. But it's never been fixed in FO4. 🤦‍♂️

Even if you've never played that part, the cell data is still loaded and baked into the save. Basically all cell data enabled or not, is loaded and processed when the cell is loaded.

Which means...

Some things can be easily changed, some things are a crap shoot, and might work to an extent after reloading the cell a crap load of times, and some things will not ever change and require a new run.

I had to google "Mary Sue" too. It is sad that everything has to be reduced, characterized, dissected, and labelled.

What would you call a male that matched "Mary Sue" characteristics?

What kind of "flaws" would make her interesting? Do we all in the rl have "flaws" that make us "interesting"?

She has to learn how to shoot from Brett, maybe you could say she needs more training than one or two outings, but then people would complain it is too "tedious" and want a cheat to get there. She literally has to train the three other attributes to be able to good at what the mod is targeting for her.

I am curious to know what all items it is thought she is good at? Lockpick? Stealing? Terminal hacking? Nope, not unless you train them...like any other fallout character.

I am not sure how it is thought she is more "Mary Sue" than any other fallout character that comes out and starts immediately getting better at everything through experience.

She is protected by the Disciples because Grandma takes a liking to her after rescuing her and sees something of herself in Norita and "sponsors" her into the disciples, not because she is soooo cute and everyone fawns over her. Although, you may be surprised that males will definitely fawn and fall all over themselves over a girl cute or not. Welcome to the real world.

William certainly didn't have any problem taking advantage of her. Music didn't help her there at all either.

Regarding the garage burning, I would 100% want my BF to beat those guys and burn that place down and protect me. Hell yeah, I would. Wouldn't you similarly want to protect your GF/significant other???

I would be interested in what is considered a "good" game or book with a female lead that has "proper" character development. I would really like to experience that for a comparison.

Anyway, I absolutely LOVE the Norita path and sorry you don't.

I don't think that is what is happening.  What seems to be going on is that the patch isn't moving the character to the trigger box.  When the character hits the quest marker with the patch, she stays to the left of the table.  When I run it without the patch, when the character hits the quest marker she is moved to the center of the table.

Gary Stu is the male equivalent.

The idea of Mary Sue came about because of Star Trek fan fiction.  The character of Rey in the last Star Wars trilogy would be an example of a Mary Sue.  Or Carol Danvers character in Captain Marvel.

It wouldn't be correct to call Norita a Mary Sue.  A Mary Sue character doesn't have character growth -- the character is fully formed and never faces significant challenges for her to overcome.  She always has a solution for every problem faced.

It would be a fundamental misunderstanding of the Mary Sue trope to apply it to the Norita path.

Why does the size of some characters' penises seem so disproportionate to me? I'm using body talk 3, and I also checked the body on bodyslide, but some npcs have huge penises, is there any option that makes this happen?

While it is true that with a current save there is that error ("the tenant hated that!") due to what I commented, this is what happens with Izzy's patch in a new game. I did Setstages to get here quickly.

Current Save:

New Game:

A save where “Overly Thorny Rose” has not yet started. It works fine too.

That's right. ☝️

And, by the way, I recommend hairy men for body talk. Seeing them all waxed feels a bit artificial to me. 😃

Let me tell you about a silly mistake I made before. I first applied male body shapes in BS, and then applied female body shapes to all BS files. As a result, my male body shape completely went out of control.

Men with boobs, been there.  What is kind of a pain in the ass is some outfit projects do not put their items in an filter group, I guess I could figure it how it works and modify their XMLs and put them in filter groups but once you kind of build it you just move on and forget about it until the next time.  But the filter groups are pretty handy to quickly select all the female-projects and male-projects and build.  Things like EasyGirl that has male & female outfits the person who did the conversion put them in different groups.  I usually build everything on the Female body, even the male outfits, then go back and selective build the male outfits and the male body using filter groups.

The other thing that has been on my mind, and I don't know if it is really mentioned anywhere, but FG comes with pre-built files (whatever it does, i guess the *.tri or *.nif files?) and MO2 seems to update the original mod automatically when you run through bodyslide, which seems problematic if you have multiple profiles and want different bodies.  So how do other folks deal with that?  Do you just install Fusion Girl & Outfits multiple times for each profile/body, or do you go in and delete the prebuilt files from the base mod and use the overwrite folder to create separate mods for the built fiels per body?  Not that I really run profiles with different bodies.

Hmm. Mutated bulldog? Is't like a dog modified by another mod? It should be an ordinary dog.

heheh it was a joke. That psycho sadist dude named Bulldog has a dog (pretty sure it is muteded) so I just joked lol that his dog also must be a bulldog only mutated so much that unrecognizable, does it even make sense lol, the dog on the arena ok maybe he is not his dog but serioulsly fuck that dog really, like the real problem was a mod conflict. mod "mutilated dead bodies" preventing specific scene (one of tghe best in the mod imo) from playing. and ... JESUS CHRIST!!  waht I am just saying is stay away from the mod "mutilated dead bodies" peeps or scens will refuse to play and dogs will mutate...

Dear J.B. AAF Nuka Ride: mod for porn studio is the best work of art and the best that there is for Fallout 4. Can I ask to make more punishments for Norita (Young resident of the Vault). Rich chaste spoiled girl is rude a lot, for which her Main Boss often punishes not only spanks, but also DD devices. It would be very interesting to play for such Norita. I liked Norita more. The plot itself is just mind-blowing. Gorgeous. Bravo to you. I wish you creative success. There are simply no words to express my gratitude to you.

Thank you so much !  🏆 I will think about it, but this route should not go so much towards humiliation, although I do agree that there should be sexy consequences sometimes. The Overboss could punish with KFT devices... but I highly doubt he would do it in public, but as something more intimate.

This version is getting pretty stable, so I'm starting to reassemble my Skyrim mod list to see what ideas we can plagiarize.
