This happened to me as well.

I was the Overboss bitch but I chose all submissive dialogue options.

If you choose the rebel path instead, it works as expected.

I'm having a problem with "Nuka Ride". My FO4 is still the .163 version, I have 450+ mods installed, AAF says (really fast) it's at 100%. I didn't go to the robot by the Diner until my PC was at level 30, the robots in Nukaworld are deadly!

 

The problem is after my female PC dances on the pole, has sex with Maxon and... (?) That's where the quest just kinda... stops. My PC can move around, have sex with everyone else in the place (including the Gorilla), AAF menu's come up just fine. Animations look... ok, I'm using CBBE\3BBB, not Fusion Girl, that might be causing something. In addition, I know my load order is in disarray. The game plays pretty well, but I know it's not right. Could use some help with that too.

 

I don't know if I should've gone on "The Nuka Ride" straight out of the vault or waited like I did, until level 30.

Apparently you wanted to do your nails, but probably canceled when the nail selection box popped up. A very atypical scenario, but I'll see how I fix it.

I have "Hookers of the Commonwealth" mods installed (more than a couple), are those the mods you're talking about? I'm running the 6.4 version of "Nuka Ride", is that a problem?

 

I'm not seeing "AAF Prostitution" in my MO2 build.

No, that mod is fine. 

 

Well, as far as I can see, when the scene ends (the pole dance), you should get "Talk to Mason" objective. 


SetStage _NukaRide_Audition 120

 

Note that this is done automatically. My mod sends data to AAF (meta data) to do the setstages after the pole dance.  

 

This usually fails when: 

  • If you have SS2 (sim settlements 2) installed. Sending meta data seems to be affected if you have that mod installed.

 

I can't think of anything else. But it is definitely going to affect the rest of the mod, starting with "The Audition" the mod uses meta data intensively.

Yes, I have a number of "SS2" mods installed (all 3 Chapters plus more), I'm partway through "Chapter 1" right now. Does that cause issues? Is there any kind of "workaround"?

I don't know of a way. I know it's a very famous mod but also very script intensive. My mod is big, but it's not script intensive. 

 

You have to decide between one or the other. 😕

Tip, remove SS2 and anything that effects Nuka World and or Diamond City including the NPC's. Mods that change the looks of named NPC's can also mess things up.

Put Nuka Ride followed by it's patches last in your load order. Nothing should have more priority.

 

Then, when leaving the vault, talk to Duke and choose a NR path, Young vault dweller, vanilla vault dweller and then follow that path. Do NOT go leveling up or playing the vanilla quest line.

You do NOT need weapons or armor for Nuka Ride. Weapons will be supplied and combat is "genital".

 

If playing the Nora (vanilla vault dweller) make a bee line to Drumlin Dinner avoiding as much as possible.

Don't even discover Sanctuary. You should have 2 map markers, Vault 111 & Drumlin.

 

Once you play completely through Nuke Ride you will have a much better understanding of what "extra" shenanigans you can or can't get away with. (there's a lot ;))

But following the above will prevent a lot of "self inflected" issues, thus make for a MUCH better experience.

Hookers are fine yes as it just adds underground a subway system and a bunch of hookers. It does not affect the world itself much. I am not 100% sure but I do think it might change the bar in Diamond city but its just added room if I remember correctly. SS2 is a for sure no no. It changes things way to much

I was planning on using a mod to add the Protected flag to unique named NPCs. Will that conflict with Nuka Ride and/or Commonwealth Slavers? I think I read somewhere that CS kills Duke, and the mod would have definitely given him a Protected flag.

Hello again, I got AAF working and every thing is functioning as intended. If you installed the ESl before the ESP try fully removing the ESl and the ESP for the French Maid outfit and installing the ESp version this is what fixed it for me.

 

 

I love the mod so far and you did an amazing job with the writing. And the characters. I would like a few more alt start scenarios so you're not always just a Vault dweller. Or is the alt start version specifically for starting out as a Vault dweller? I haven't tested it out on a non nuka ride start yet. Lol

 

I would also like to see some options for low/high intelligence characters. 

 

Maybe options to start out as a tribal, settler, mercenary, maybe even a raider start. Just some ideas. I love the mod either way.

 

For anyone wondering I didn't have BA2 backporting installed and I was using a few outdated mods for AAF

Music seems bugged for me, when i ask her to do my nails all i get is this dialogue. if i choose the 3rd option my PC says something about wanting black nails and music says she shouldn't abuse her services. the top option cancels the dialogue and the bottom option just freezes music indefinitely, resetting the quest or anything doesn't fix her.

these are the same dialogue options she gives me when i'm supposed to ask her for an appointment with the overboss but, and with that choosing random options seems to sort of complete the objective? but the VIP quest won't start and she won't give you a new outfit, i can fix this by skipping to the VIP quest with commands but it's still weird.

Yes, I remember that there are fights between single NPCs where they kill each other (both mods). With such a mod they will fight infinitely.

It is the third option. Install HN66 Nails and try again, just in case. And also reinstall the voices, because I updated them and now she does say what is read in screen. 

 

I highly doubt that having the voices out of date is the cause, but who knows.

Yeah the third option just plays the wrong voice and then brings me back to the same options.

i have HN66 nails installed, i also just updated to the newest version of nuka ride so i was thinking maybe that might be causing an issue somewhere

The soft lock rings a bell. Kind of like when you get legendary weapons. 

 

How about installing Fallsouls to keep the time running even with the message popping up? Not sure what else to suggest. 🤔

 

 

 

 

I use XDI for the dialogues, I don't know if it has anything to do with it but I'll leave it there.

Ok I have the Nuka mods in this order as 

Nuka Ride.esp
Nuka Ride World Patch.esp
Nuka Ride CWSS WORLD Patch.esp

Nuka Ride BYOP WORLD Patch.esp and they are last in my load order bar Zex 

All is fine with the mod until My character try's to dance or use the pole in the film studio, what happens is they go onto stage or pole and for a few seconds its ok

then I see the front  door open as if my character is leaving the building, and then I have left the cell

But I'm not like outside and its Nuka town I have left the cell and in no mans land 

but even though I'm not inside the scene according to AAF is running when it stops then i come back from no mans land and I'm right next to door outside

I go in and get paid for dance or pole dance but I'm not sure if its counting towards points etc 

Any ideas would be great

First, are you using both CWSS & BYOP? If so, I'd suggest only using the CWSS patch for Nuka Ride. Using both will cause issues in the bathrooms. Not AAF related btw.

Second, I've personally only seen that behavior at Libertalia when AAF tries to run the PC through the Captains Cabin to get to a bed below, which generally requires a coc to get back into the game world.
What version of the game are you using? Pre or Post Next Gen.

If the NG version, that's your issue and you need to roll back to the more stable version, including any NG updated mods.

Other than that, I really have no clue why AAF bugs out like that.

On a side note, If you have your Pip-Boy light on you can watch your PC travel when AAF starts, which should be next to the doppelganger.
