See that is why I like this Forum. I learn new stuff every time I read the posts and ask questions.

I did not have a computer till I retired at 61 years old and for the last 2 years I have learned a lot.

Thanks to you all for helping me figure things out!!

I did know from previous posts the big file would not work for some other users.                            G

Well, I've been PC gaming since the MS-DOS days; And been building my own rigs since about Win98. So I know a thing or two. (Sorry if I sound like a Farmers Insurance commercial there)

You need to make sure to have all of the animation packs on the first page installed, Afterwards, I suggest also installing  UAP Ultimate AAF Patch. It will fix issues with AAF and the packs. Installl UAP last, since the installer checks which packs you have installed and selects them automatically.

i guess ill really pass this one, i really dont want to make a fresh start, i followed the aaf guide 3 times and only when i enable the nr 5.0 instead of the other version i have i get 68%

This might sound stupid, have you checked for missing masters?

That fouled me the same way once.              G

well i dont have cc mods thats for sure the only i have missing is related to Sim Settlments, ill try to setup everything on another pc from scratch included mo2, lets pray, i cant let this stop me idk why i get so invested when i try to mod but it gets to me. Peace

If the old version of NR works fine, but the new version causes AAF starting problems, then you haven't installed all the required animation packs. Maybe you have an old version of the animation packs, or maybe you disabled animal support when you installed the Savage Cabbage pack.

 

The difference between the old and new versions is that the new version uses tree-staged animations, so it is more demanding to comply with all the requirements.
If you're missing something, the old version will just give you an error in the log, or doesn't run the right animation. But the new version will cause AAF starting problem.

I have been gaming since pong came out, but life, work, and outdoor activities were more important.

Now that I am retired, I have all this time on my hands, so I bought a PC and started learning how to mod.

Xbox was my platform, Skyrim from the release, same with fallout series.

Most of them are some remaining files of mods that wasnt properly cleaned when uninstalled, but idk wich files to remove safely, so i just leave them there...

If anyone has a way to clean the mess would be apreciated...

"You can follow the official guide but personally I have it like this. 

 

First uninstall everything related to AAF to clean your DATA/AAF folder. 


Install AAF
Then Themes
Then the animations (Savage Cabbage, Leito, Bp70, Atomic Lust). 
Then Leito Fix by Tentacus

 

Zero errors in my admin panel.  This is very basic, it is what I use to mod without a lot of headaches. 

 

However, if you follow the official guide you will have more animations, more options, and should also get zero errors. "

I checked them all and all are up to date except for BP70 Animations (didnt had it before the update either) but that has a reference to a file on the nexus thats no longer there? (Body Talk)

The cheap solution would be to throw a default trigger box around the shower area and attach a script which does the removal after a brief delay in an OnTriggerEnter event block. Player walks into the shower, and a few seconds later they're clean, regardless of whether they're using BYOP, CWSS, or neither. Not realistic, but then again neither is Nuka World itself... ?

Just because you didn't have a requirement before doesn't mean it isn't a requirement now (this mod has added requirements in updates over time).

Which one? The 1947 'nix tube' version? Or the 1960's 'public release' version?

 I still have issues. I did what JB. wrote, maybe I did it incorrectly or something IDK. 

Uninstalled all mods on The AAF F Manual, then verified F4/Data/AAF was empty (it was actually gone) then reinstalled all in the order of the manual.

I even deleted my save files and started a new game.

Stumped.        ?           G

@JB. "Leash Mode" is the mode my next mod will use and I decided to use it here with Bulldog. If you walk away from your captor, you will receive a warning and die if you don't come back. You have no choice but to follow him. 

 

This is more of a comment for your next mod than this one, but when this feature kicks in, do you force an autosave? I obviously only know the little I've been able to piece together here about your upcoming mod.  But this looks like one of those game features that is intended to be difficult, but instead turns to frustrating.  I can imagine a survival player with some unsaved game time getting captured, not knowing the mechanic, and losing a lot of play time.  Plus, the point is to capture/be captured, so presumably a player would be annoyed if they reloaded to a point before that happened because they died due to not knowing that escape is not an option.

 

Just a thought.

OverlaysSetID Vagina ? Aren't those from Indarello? Why are you installing the Indarello patch? 

 

BTW you don't need a new save for that. It works on any save.
