AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

I marked all three VIPs as "Allow reserverd".

I tried the new esp but no luck, still have the same issue. I don't think I have any mods that could take control of your npc's, maybe TSEX/Hardship but I don't think it'd do that? I don't have [AAF] Sexual Harrassment which I think I read here people had similar issues with.

 

So I tried the new esp on the first problematic save and it didn't work. On that save I had asked Music to paint my nails right after unocking her studio so I thought maybe that messed things up somehow since when I ask her to book a meeting with the OB it also clears and restarts her misc quest "Talk with music if you want her services". The main Rising Porn Star quest updates and completes that stage but doesn't seem to start a new one. So I loaded an earlier save right before passing out at the Atom Cats and waking up in the cross and tried again (still with the esp you sent), this time I didn't use any of Music's services but the same issue happened anyway.

 

I've had no issues with this part in previous playthroughs and in this current playthrough it's the first issue I've run across. Will attach some screenshots too in case I'm explaining this poorly.

 

Edit: using sqv to check the _NukaRide_VisitingOverboss quest tells me it's not enabled, the state is stopped and the stage is 0 - and that's after it should have started since I talked to Music and she told me to go to the market. Trying to force the quest to start with startquest does nothing, setstage does nothing either.

The _NukaRide_Movies2 quest is enabled, running and at stage 6 like I think it's supposed to be at this point.

 

Edit again: Nvm I'm just dumb. I was sure I had Nuka Ride loaded last but turns out Start Me Up was still loaded after it, changing that fixed the issue. Sorry for wasting your time.

Can you give me more context? If I remember correctly there are two situations where Charlotte sends you to talk to Corsican. 

One starts the quest "A date with the Boss".
And the other one starts the quest "The Studio".

Try to reload the save from before you reported to Charlotte so that she will try again to kick the new mission. 

If not, type:

SetSTage _NukaRide_Boss 10

It is a very simplified and limited version of what AAF offers and seems to me only for beginners. And that mod uses animations from Savage Cabbage - nothing new.

Hey just wanted to say really enjoyed the mod, on my 2nd run through now.  Hope you keep developing it and complete the story you want to finish. Had some ideas that you are free to steal such as

1. an interview with piper that were you could convince her to join the studio,

2 a new talent is brought in to do live kinky wrestling (similar to the gunner mission ) so we get Cait involved  

3. A silver shroud inspired porno using the sexier option in this mod TheKite's Handmaiden at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)  

4. (don't know if you can trigger it without the main game mission ) Party on Prydwenn with the PC as the Gift 

 

But Yeah loving the mod so far. looking forward to some new content soon

I was just playing that part. I've been playing the mod from the start for a few days now. 

 

The same thing happens to me. I think the problem is that the threesome animation lasts soooo long. It's not exactly a bug but it's solved by shortening the animation. 

 

Speaking of long stuffs. I'm going to add an MCM to define how many deliveries we need to make for Nisha in order to receive the scooter. Minimum: 2. Maximum: 6.

I feel like this has been addressed in some way before, but I ran into this so I'm reporting it.  I've long since finished the Mod in my current playthrough.  So I'm now running around the Commonwealth engaging in random shenanigans, with the vague recollection of a kidnapped baby I was supposed to do something about.  I'd triggered the quest Confidence Man awhile ago, and I finally got around to finishing it off.  I recall from an old post that if you're in the "vanilla game," but wearing Nuka Ride apparel, then Vadim will only recognize you as the actress, and not as the player.  But I thought that only applied to pole dancing.  Apparently it also applies to everything else.  But even stranger was when I interacted with Travis.   When I went to DC to get the motorcycle for the first away mission, I went the Mayor route, not the Travis route.  But when I tried to talk to Travis before beating up the two dudes in the Dugout, I got Travis' dialogue from the motorcycle retrieval quest.  

 

Reloading the game from when I entered dugout inn and removing all Nuka Ride apparel items fixed the issue.  But it was weird that quest dialogue from so long ago was still active just because of the clothes I was wearing.  Not sure what can be done about that.  The vanilla quest was still glitchy even in regular clothes, so I had to use SetStage MS14 a few times to move past stuck dialogue...

 

Thought folks should know.

Just a suggestion, if you could make the maximum = the number of different clients you have in that quest. (i really like the mule quest and hope you added/will add more clients)

Oh thank you, thank you, thank you. That is the only part of the entirety of NR that I truly dislike, but only because of the number of times needed. 2ce would be fine, but the default 5 as it is now, gets a bit tedious. At least I find it to be that way. Others may not agree. But more player defined options is always a good thing.

Last night I uploaded a new "M" version with more stuff adjusted, including the scooter thing. There are a lot of details that I adjusted according to the quests I've been playing, but It is not yet the final "M" version that I will upload to Loverslab. There is also a new rimjob animation thanks to Tentacus, but I have yet to see if there is a better alternative for the third stage (now the rimjob is three stages).

Well, the maximum is 6 because there are 6 customers. 

 

I don't know if I will put hardcore stuff back into Nuka Ride, instead all the hardcore ideas are being redirected to my next mod. At a certain point, the PC is not only very famous but the Overboss is starting to have more appreciation for what the PC achieved, so it doesn't make sense to keep forcing the PC to do extreme things.

Thanks. Apparently I forgot to add a couple of conditions to Travis' dialogs. It has easy solution as the fans, I will include it in the next update.

Yeah, I think I'm still on version J. But I can wait until the M version is fully done and/or tested and uploaded here before I update.

I just got to the part where Nora's "sister" is recruited.

So I'm still pretty early in. And it may take me a few days or more to reach the 'stopping point', especially with my headphones starting to cause me some physical pain from frequent use. But still, NR has got to be one of my favorite 'must have' mods now. Keep up the great work.

 

Oh and one other thing I was kinda thinking of, I don't even know if it would be possible at this point but;

I was just wondering if there could be added 'Low Intelligence' dialogue options like there was way back in the old days of Fallout.

 

Yeah, I know "Nora was a lawyer, she would have high Intelligence"; But I again chalk that up to Bethesda's bad character writing, and RPG story incompetence.

I have this in my plans for my slavery mod, where you can end up being addicted or not. Here a difference between dialogs being addicted / not addicted.

Two things: 

This would drive any program that synthesizes voices crazy.
It means rewriting the whole mod (the slavery mod) in junkie. I want to do it, but it's fucking exhausting.

Have run into several failed scenes with AAF, when getting Gage's rifle, mule quest to the old couples house, and others I forgot. As always love this mod.

Noted yesterday too. I fixed it in the M version that I uploaded last night. 

 

Aaron's desk doesn't work for AAF and causes the error - I had to put in another desk.

 

The final version "M" will be uploaded to Loverslab in a few days, once I finish testing everything I need, so this version is still testing.

Yeah, it was just a random thought. I knew it probably wasn't possible; But I just thought I'd put it out there as some 'food for thought' if you, or anyone really, wanted to make a patch or something to add it in the future.

 

I mean I could try to make one, but I know I would fail, as I stated a few pages back; I just can't figure out that convoluted CK, let alone even do something simple in Fo4 Edit. That's just not where my talents lye.
