I'm sorry....stupid comment on my part....I should not write comments just before I go to bed......it was Nuka World not Nuka Ride.....I could have sworn it said Nuka Ride.....sorry

I have not had this error.....I would load a save before this and try again.

Something like this happened to me. I play with controller, and suddenly the message box, by some bad luck and timing, seems to disable the controller and I have to disconnect it and continue with keyboard and mouse! 

 

Obviously I correct it with a little "breather" time between scripts and it's usually a bug that you guys don't get to see. I will keep this in mind for the next update. 

 

For the time being, the solution is to reload and cross your fingers.

More specifically can I get Nick and complete Far Harbor?

The best I can recommend is to save the game where you finished Nuka Ride. And leave it there for when there is an update. 

 

Far Harbor is in the plans, at the moment what I can assure you is that it is not convenient to have the bad ending (the beasts roam all over the island and there are no humans left). 

 

There may be many more things in the plans. I honestly don't know where all this is going to end up taking us.

So eradicating the 'Zealots of Mutant loving' (Children of Atom), and synth graveyard (Arcadia), is okay then?

I tried reloading a few times.  Hit the bug every time.  I used SetStage to end the quest and that worked fine.

I figured as much, which is why I was going to keep a save anyway. But then I figured, I might as well ask, since I don't really want to roll back a lot of levels.

I wasn't planning to do that. So I'll just keep (almost) everyone alive then.

If you're hellbent on adding even more content and possibly outside of Nuka World, I am not gonna complain :).

Also I wouldn't be devastated, if I had to load an old save (or start over) for NR 9+ or something, I just wanted to try to avoid that for NR 5 and 6.

Anyway, thank you for answering my questions.

If you're using the current version of Creature Resources (1.1.5 fix) then super mutants shouldn't freeze on death any more. If they do, you probably have something else overriding their skeleton.

I don't know yet because Harlowe will be on the island and she probably has her head washed by that Atom cult. Well, that's the draft, from here to when I start working on it, it may change. 

 

What you can kill if you want is all those in Acadia. I just want to use the humans in the little coastal town. Including old Longfellow.

I'm going to upload another update tonight because I forgot to take out the Encounter Zone from the Apartment in the BYOP, CWSS and garden patches. And also updating the heel slots for the heel sounds patch. ?

 

Can you test this if you can? I put a 0.8 second pause before bringing up the message box.

I see big potential in shooting a golden globes snuff movie with Erikson and his doggies , lol thats the first thing i thought about when you first mentionned Far Harbor

Hi, I'm having trouble getting NR to work. When I exit vault 111 for the first time Duke doesn't appear and when I sit and wait somewhere he doesn't show up either. Also when I check the mod configuration menu there's no options in there. It says NR should be the last thing in the load order so that might be the issue, but I don't know how to change that, I'm using Vortex.

If you are sure it is installed and active in your plugin list, do this.

If you're into Lovecraftian lore (which crops up in Fallout games with some frequency), "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" short story and/or its film adaptations like "Dagon, la secta del mar" (2001) could provide some interesting inspiration for the creepy remote fishing village vibe there.

I'm not seeing anything NR related in my plugin list, but it is in my mods list. Is there an install guide that I missed? After installing the requirements I downloaded the .zip file and dragged it directly into the drop files section in vortex.

What precisely is the name of the NR mod you see in your mods list? Maybe you installed the clothing conversions for it and not the mod itself? Or did you forget to deploy after enabling the mod?

Its "Nuka Ride 5.0.zip" and its definitely deployed

I couldn't find that movie for the longest after seeing it years ago. Nice! Probably my favorite take on it. The ending is chefs kiss.

How would I go by lowering the brightness of the apartment lights with xEdit? As of now I've just been disabling my enb whenever I enter but if I could edit the brightness in xEdit it would be all the better.

I might have a solution for you, I use Vortex, and when I download Nuka Ride, I do a standard download instead of a zipped file. It seems to me to work better.
