I have one big Problem with the mod. I can't start the "Gauntlet" I'm finished with the quests in Nuka Ride and now I want to kill the Overboss. But the quest do not start. I don't want to uninstall the mod, because I like the Japanese house and the synth version of Nora, so is there any opportunity to kill the Overboss without uninstall the mod? The other quest "Open Season" works without Problems. I can kill the Blacks, Mason and Nisha without any conflicts. If I'm going back to the Studio I can repeat the quests. Mr Corsican is a little bit upset but I can still ask him for new videos and get my reward. The only original Nuka World quest which will not start is "The Gauntlet" unfortunaly this quest is the only one with the opportunity to kill the overboss.

Well, it's a simple matter of logic and order. You can't do The Gauntlet anymore because you are doing Open Season, the game doesn't expect such an order.

Finish NR5, then go to the train station to start the DLC. Don't start a big quest like Open Season too early.

If NR6.0 is gonna be the Kiddy Kingdom, guessing 7.0 will be the Nuka Cola Bottle Plant or maybe Far Harbor?

I almost certainly won't capture the bottling plant. I need to leave a park free to give the option to start the DLC and that park for me is the least attractive.

NR5 is not finished yet. Far Harbor is in the plans for NR5 but I have set them aside for quite a while.

To do a quest in Far Harbor I'm going to need a lot of testing. I've already seen more or less how it goes and I noticed that Far Harbor is much friendlier with the moders, I only have to deactivate three or four stuffs and everyone behaves as if you're not looking for the missing girl.  Perfect.

Nuka World is a festival of conditions and potential conflicts.

Personally I wouldn't mind if this quest line replaced the Main Quest of most of, if not the entire game, and all it's DLCs. Having it become a full overhaul. It's a lot more interesting than Bethesda's 'Go here, kill all that is there to kill, build settlement (sometimes), get help from NPC via talk or alliance, then start it all over again' type of game play.

But to that last point; I think Bethesda in itself is a "festival of conditions and potential conflicts". I mean just look at the endings of FO4; There are only 2 different endings, blow up the institute, or join the institute. Sure there are variants of each, but there are no other base options than those.

Yep, I rarely bother finishing the main quest, it's just blah, I go out and experience all the content added by modders instead and only advance the main quest when absolutely needed.  I've got some new end game options installed like Subversion and Father Companion so maybe I'll get there on this playthrough, but who knows.  I think I made level 135 without finishing the main quest a couple months ago.

I also greatly appreciate the real new start you get from NR, I mean I can totally ignore Preston, why would I go back to Sanctuary, except if I want to get the Castle.  Not when I have a sweet apartment in Nuka World and made plenty of caps working my ass to buy Home Plate from that bitch Geneva and met Piper on the way in.  I can go find Nick or just wander off on whatever instead.

I know this is on my end, But when that little Robot feller meets me for the first time, and says, Scanning, your sexy want to make some caps, I see the options show up for a split second. I think 2  is like , "What are caps" , but not enough time to respond, and the menu never comes up again.

Is this XDI or something else? I know it was fine back during the 4.X days of the mod. Well, in the sense that you would talk to him, game would load real fast, and then boom, quest added.

Can someone who has this mod working send me the mod list you are using? I have no clue what could be causing the eyebot to never spawn, but I assume it's a mod incompatability so I'd like to compare and contrast with a working mod list.

I had this problem until I put the mod right at the bottom in my LO but just above start me up, hope it helps, if not maybe start a new game with just the requirements and start adding your other mods one by one until you hit the problem, it's a pain but all I can think of.

I fully agree. Bethesda dropped the ball here, get ran over all of the Commonwealth doing Minutemen, Railroad, Brotherhood, or Institute errands, or become a Raider and say to hell with your errands and strike out as the Lone Wanderer.

I mean once you've done it 4-5 x's it gets wearing.

If NR replaced Nuka World DLC I would be happy although I think JB. would find all that work a bit stressful. It is easy to armchair quarterback these things, make requests, etc. But implementing those requests is a daunting task to say the least!

I know I have no idea how to do the things JB. has done.       G

A page back, I listed mine. Here's a quote of it again. Be-careful, it's a long one.

I think the entire 'killer of Bethesda' became their overdependent use of the 'Radiant quests'. Once that system started to get fully used with Skyrim, Fo4 was doomed. It was trash in Oblivion, Skyrim at least it wasn't all that naggy. But in Fo4, they just said 'Screw it, let that thing handle 99% of the game', and "It just works"; Well it works alright, it works the patience of anyone who plays the game, because it's so boring and repetitive.

Just wanted to say thank you JB for this amazing mod it's easily the best quest mod I've played on any bethesda game, you have done an amazing job and I'm looking forward to future releases and other mods from you.

Also you deserve several coffees for this just need to make a patron account but will definitely be contributing to your caffeine addiction lol.

While I'm here thanks to everyone who posts fixes for problems to, took me a week to get this working lol and probably wouldn't have done if not for you guys TY all ❤️

Some of those are really old and I don't even know if they can be found anymore; As I kept them from when FO4 first released. But happy hunting none the less, and glad I could help.

@JB. I have gotten the script lag issue after talking to George to "Golden Globes Radio" again where as soon as I complete talking to him my FPS never gets back to 60 stable and keeps triggering the physics to make my tits and ass bounce even when I'm standing still.  Hasn't happened for a long time, but I've done it 3 times now and it's happened all 3 times.

Been testing this a bit @JB. I installed SSK script latency to check and before talking to George I have zero FPS script lag, afterwards I get between 1-5% lag and FPS spikes down into the 30's instead of a rock solid 60FPS.  I rolled back to 5.0.4h just to see if the update to the apartment broke something, but it's doing it there too. I went back and redid the quest from before it activated, but let me know if you want me to test anything. Since I'm only a few hours in, I'm going to restart with 5.0.4h from a new game, just to see if it happens again.

Edit - I think I fixed it. So I don't turn on Golden Globes Radio most of the time after it activates.  I thought since it's one of the things activated when the quest completes, that I'd turn it on and of course FPS straight back to locked in 60FPS.  I can turn it back off and it seems fine.  I went back to the game I was already doing "Made In Heaven" and was experiencing the spikes, I turned on GG radio, and it goes right back to 60 locked there too.

Hi all, hi JB.

May i suggest you Quick Change in complement of HBD DressBox?

F4z Roh Doh is a requirement but i have a crash to desktop if i use the last version (*). For example, to speak with Codsworth, choose an answer and, baam, CTD.

Dunno why but uninstall this mod resolves the issue. I can share my modlist if you think it could help, but honestly, i've tried with an enhanced base gameplay includind the AAF Fucking manual and without any mod wich changes or adds dialogues nor NUKA RIDE.

So F4Z ROH DOH is really required or recommended?

(*) Someone reports the same issue when using F4Z ROH DOH with Buffout (and i'm using BUFFOUT4).

Since you're using Buffout 4, it should have produced a crash log. If you attach it, we can try to help you find the underlying cause. Lots of us are using F4z Roh Doh without crashing, so there is probably another solution.

so... during a specific quest, im handcuffed and i need to escape? but how to i get the cuffs off? also, this is NOT a good quest for ppl who use needs mods, my hp is in really bad shape due to starvation, dehydration, and lack of sleep for being captive for so long XD

If the quest doesn't auto remove the handcuffs after, go into the MCM, find Real Handcuffs then there should be a debug section and click on the handcuffs. Should force unequip them

is that something i should do? i mean, im just guessing here but am i supposed to stay cuffed for the duration of the quest? im only asking since i need to eat/drink something, but careful stealth is getting me by just fine for the moment...

Edit: oh, i misread that, you said 'after' ok so im likely supposed to still be cuffed for now then, ok ty lol

Yeah, the parts where you get handcuffed, are pretty short, and they get removed relatively quick. So if your playing on survival, just make sure to keep your gauges full before you start any quest, and eat/drink while you can, when you can. And you should be fine.

I have the same problem during that quest.  Thanks to the transition, I always come back into the game tired, hungry, and thirsty.  Sometimes I can suffer through until I'm free.  Other times, I have to cheat and use the cheat feature in the Real Handcuffs MCM and free myself to stay alive.  If you don't want to lose the feel of that part of the quest, you can just put the handcuffs back onto yourself after you take care of your needs.

Why leave a park for the vanilla DLC?, If i wanted to play it, i would install or deactivate NR. ?‍♂️

The bleachers mod will take me there, so will i loose my progress on NR? as if i went to the Nuka Station or something like that?
