AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

Hello, I'm doing another run of the mod and I've encountered a few issues.

In the mission where you go to Goodneighbor to get Music, in the part where you arrive at the Atom Cat's garage when talking to the dudes asking for a discount for a tune-up to the bike I get no animation, it just skips and progresses normally, with both guys.

After visiting the OB and choosing to spend the night with the guy that gives you a cat (don't remember the name), if the option to take a shower is selected then nothing happens, it just skips.

 

I think I have all the animations installed but will check again (when I get a chance) in case there is an update or if I'm missing something for some reason. Alternatively, if someone knows a way to fix this or if I'm missing something please do tell, it would be greatly appreciated.

That's exactly what it is minus the recruitment beacon, so all your raider settlements become overcrowded in no time and you can do nothing about it other than placing ugly yellow sleeping bags everywhere.

Yeah, and it's kinda why it pisses me off that helping the Traders (in vanilla), and killing all the raiders has no effect what-so-ever, besides killing 'Raider Radio'. As they still wear the collars and never remove them. They all still call the player 'Boss'. They never branch out into the rest of the park, not even the rest of Nuka Town. And besides the single 'Thank you', they ignore the entire event even happened.

Bethesda really dropped the ball on that one.

 

 

But anyway, a bit of an update after I updated CWSS to the latest version (4.0 I think), and had time to test the apartment shower/toilet;

They are present in game.

There is only 1 of each of them.

But they are still non-functional. The default 'click' sound occurs when I attempt to use either one.

 

The shower I built in the garden from the workshop menu, works fine, and remains needed as a workaround.

I have tested it and it is OK. I don't play with that patch, so it's freshly installed on my 10+ hour save.

Anyone know what is going on or how I can progress the dialogue with these npcs? I know the glitch is most likely with something else but I'm typically able to bypass with the issue with most npcs as aside from nuka ride, every npc that defaults to a silent "hey want to do some trading" actually offers nothing by talking to them. I love this mod so much and I would really love to be able to kick off my playthrough with it. Ive been fiddling with my mods and load order for weeks trying to bypass the entry levels of this quest

Yeah, as I said they are there just like in that picture.

But they just don't function. Not sure why. And I think my save is about 7 hours, something like that.

 

My Load order is:

11 CWSS Redux.esp (4.0 version, esp marked as an esm)

172 Nuka Ride.esp

173 Nuka Ride CWSS Patch

174 Nuka Ride High Heels Sound Patch.esp
175 HN66Fo4_TRS.esp
176 HN66Fo4_EasyGirl_BS.esp
177 Nuka Ride Apartment Garden.esp (this is the last item on the load list)

 

But yeah, I only freshly installed all of NR and AFF something like 2 days ago. And everything else maybe a week ago.

Ah well, the garden shower works well enough, and I don't mind having to use that one, as I also use that area as my home anyway.

I haven't the slightest idea what mod does that with bots. Surely someone around here would know how to help you. I would look at my mods and start disabling until I find the culprit.

near the entrance of Dry rock gulch, the coaster track is crashed on the ground, climb on it and follow the coaster track, be carefull not to fall, it gets pretty high, when you reach the area near the saloon you should find someone and the quest will progress

Never the less, I'm amazed at what you where able to do with this mod. I mean it's got better writing than Bethesda's 'best' parts of the game could hope to present. It's got a more 'lore friendly' story or intro to the MQ(? still haven't finished/got to a stopping point yet) than Bethesda did. And it changes Nuka World into something way better than the vanilla DLC is.

This is all true.  But no AAA game is going to get made where the protagonist starts her adventure by getting coerced into fucking a dog by a talking robot before beginning her career as a pornstar/sex slave to a raider overboss.....

Move Nuka Ride to the bottom of your load order (obviously with the CWSS patch and High Heels patch after that...)  See if that fixes your problem

I can give you a stupid solution :

Just select the shower via console (getpos x,y,z then modpos z -500 lets go crazy) then placethere CWSS shower id.

The only problem is the water animation can be offset if you use console to move the shower so try disable/enable after placing it.

Actually those mentioned 'HN66Fo4_TRS.esp' and 'HN66Fo4_EasyGirl_BS.esp' are patches that make the 'Easy Girl' outfits compatible with NR and depend on it as well, if that's what you where talking about.

So yeah, all of my load list from 172 to 177 as listed are part of NR, and they are at the very bottom already. The most I could do is rearrange those, but i can't put any of them above the NukaRide.esp itself. That is unless I want to have fun with CTDs at the main menu trying to open the game.

 

Also to your other post:

That is true. But copy/pasting an entire quest line, with nothing more than a reskin, and selling it back to us as "new content"; That's not entirely all that great either. At least Bethesda could have actually added new content to the trader's questline rather than just a meager 'Thanks for the help, now we'll go back to like it never happened'.

 

But the reskinned Minuteman Quest that was so hated, that it became one of the most well known memes; That's either really spiteful, or really disconnected from knowing why it gained such infamy. And I honestly don't know which is worse.

Yeah, that's the 'hard fix'. But it would have to be done every single game. And the garden workshop is just easier. Plus it works, so I'm good with that.

Oh yes. I did try out that quest, JB. I am already looking forward to seeing it finished! I'm really really loving this alternate questline. The other good one I can compare this to is "Thief" in Skyrim. Both have such wonderful detail with yours being more darker tone which I like a lot.

I haven't had any problem with it.  Nuka Ride has dialogue options that work completely with an Alt start.

As for your bug, I just checked the script and everything is correct. 

 

The quest should advance from 110 to 120 after the scene with Maxson, but yours jumps to 150 (?). The script that takes care of that is one of the heaviest in the mod, since it handles everything related to advancing stages through AAF. Could it be a symptom that the engine behaves erratically with heavy scripts and your amount of mods? I can't find an explanation honestly.

Maybe you had. Remember, I recently updated to 5.0.4h from 5.0.4b because of the bug you helped me with, so maybe, that is the reason. ?‍♂️

So I have to ask, and I apologize if this has already been asked;

Is this mod intended to replace the entire vanilla MQ and side quests?

Or is it an addition/Alt start to the rest of the vanilla game?

 

I ask because after hitting the 'Version 5.0' wall, it starts to look to me like it's a 'replacement of'. Which is fine, but I don't want to do something stupid and ruin my save by starting to do other stuff, and start exploding people I shouldn't.

Yup! Just like that, skips 120 and goes straight to 150, not a bad issue cause i skip the entire mission and i just got paid ? as ussual if it doesn't happens to anyone else we shouldn't bother to fix it, i know is just in my game, but, hey, if it works in mine, hardly will fail in another.

Im stock again, i don't know how to start "the rescue", after talking with Colter i went to see Charlotte she gives me the choice for propaganda and the other movies i already filmed, i have the commands to start it, but i suspect that is one of the reasons the mod breaks so much in my game, so... how should it beggin normally? am i missing something?
