Just finished the mod for the first time, it was absolutely phenomenal, it had a surprising amount of heart, and actually had me laughing at the dialogue quite a bit, I feel like I've just finished a series that I like and now i have no idea what to do next, that kinda vibe.

Thanks so much for this experience!

Also wondering if this mod will get anymore quests in the near/late future? No pressure!

 

(Also I encountered absolutely no bugs from the mod itself, which i appreciated immensely. All bugs I faced my own doing, I either didn't fully installing clothing mods or i'd killed an NPC i shouldn't have before the playthrough. Easily fixable.)

Hi, I'm a little stuck with the mod.
I just did the audition with Mason, and he told me to meet Mr Corsican at the Golden Globes studios.
The problem is that Mr Corsican doesn't seem to be there.
Also, the Audion quest doesn't say it's finished, but it does have all 4 objectives checked for completion, the last one being "Talk to Mason".
Maybe that's related?

If you forgot to ask him that, there's no way to get it as it's a script attached to the dialog, not the stages. Unless you want to use something like ESP Explorer.

 

But I'm going to write that down so there's another easy way to unlock it later.

 

I got Hank's gift when I played it recently, say last week. The dialogue that triggers the gift is when Music tells you to go sleep in a bed that she rented. I couldn't explain why it doesn't show up.

While I'm still working on my other mod, I'm writing down my list of fixes/adjustments for the next update. At the moment it is this:

1.Nelson Latimer must be a clone to avoid conflict with a vanilla quest.
2.Correct Mason's dialogue during one of his repeatable visits.
3.Branch dialogue with Shank before changing your name.
4.Make it easier to get the golden dress.

 

I wanted to ask, who is Hank, never met, and how to get Golden Dress, never have.

When I speak to Music she tells of a gift in the bed she rented, but it is the Golden Piercings.

The other... well basically, when you install my mod, the last option of the fomod comes with some AAF settings that allow the scenes to start fast. Reinstall the fomod and choose that.

 

Surely you have your default AAF ini file (that means you usually wait 30 seconds before starting the scene).

If you are the vanilla vaultdweller, Shaun will tell you "my name is Hank" and he will also act very awkward because he knows that you are his mother.

If you are not a vanilla vautldweller, Shaun will be honest and he will tell you that his name is Shaun, and having no bond with you, he will behave more trustworthy and confess to being a fan.

What type of vaultdweller you are is defined when you talk to Music in the building, before reaching Bunker Hill.

Thank you ! Of course. The ultimate goal is to conquer all the parks. It is a long-term project.

Should have waited for Mason to complete his talking, he'll send you to the golden globe - you'll get a new marker then.

Try retalking to Mason, or load a save prior to your first talking with him.

Did anyone ever find out why The Audition wouldn't progress to talking to Mason after pole dancing?

 

Have to setstage to 20, and even then he says some lines, still can't talk to him, and have to skip to 25 then 30 before you can actually talk to him again.

It even happens to me, not always, but sometimes it doesn't fire. The script is identical to the hundreds of others that do the same thing. Reloading fixes it, but it's not ideal.

 

I think next time I'll make a change. The stage will advance 15 seconds after receiving the order to poledance. Whether or not the scene starts.

It appears in a box in your apartment. The box is on the floor near the entrance.
This happens when you first start the quest "Paying Respect".

If you ask Mr. Corsican: "So... do you have anything special you want me to wear for him?"

Mr. Corsican will answer you: "Getting used to it already? ... Heh. I left a gift for you in your apartment if you want to wear it."

This gift is a Golden Dress.

Having problems with the Special Girls Quest.  I meet Gage and start the conversation.  When it comes time to "follow Gage", he pulls out his weapon and just stands there.  His dialog continues but when he is finished nothing happens.  Can use console commands to advance the quest but that really do anything except make things worse.  Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks J.B. !!! I knew about the defined vault dweller or the vault dweller who lost her family, I just never recieved a "Golden Dress" from Music.

Okay thanks, I thought that was the porn star outfit... I am talking about this post from 6/16/2022 that I mentioned above.

my dudes after I finished the A New Name (_NukaRide_Codename) quest and Paying Respect (_NukaRide_VisitingMason) I'm supposed to meet the Operators but there's no new quest pop-up and even if I visit the Parlor, Mags and William completely refuse to acknowledge my existance

 

Yes I'm using the mod's clothes + Nuka Ride.esp is in the absolute bottom of my load order and all but the quest is not starting at all. I imagine this next quest is A New Ride (_NukaRide_Music), which I tried to forcestart with SetStage and StartQuest, and still nothing happened (I went back in the save-file after the console command shenanigans, obviously)

 

When I talk to Corsican he offers the usual jobs + visit Mason again

 

I'm very confused about what i'm supposed to do so if anyone knows a fix/walkthrough would be awesome. Thanks

Absolutely amazing modification! That was exactly what this game needed over the course of long years. I cannot even imagine how difficult it is to write such a massive mod! I only wish I could do anything to help in development. Also, no bugs so far, as long as I stick to the guide.

I noticed that golden globes radio has stopped working. Has anyone had that issue and found a solution? 

 

Also the pink bike can't fast travel to dry rock gultch even though it's unlocked.

Version 4.2.4? The Quest does not start because it cannot fill any Aliases. Do me a favor and load a new save, one where you are outside of Vault 111 for example.

 

Write: 

 

StartQuest _NukaRide_Music

SetStage _Nukaride_Music 10

 

It should start the quest normally. That means something happens in your main save. Are you playing in a new game as the mod suggests? Not in a save where you are already advanced -and that would make some characters stop being alive-.

Yes. All finished. It's odd as I played through it with essentially no bugs. Just don't have the dry rock option on that. And the radio stopped playing recently. Which really sucks as I liked using it lol.

 

I think I completed Nisha's missions after finishing NR. I think? If that helps.

I had a problem with the radio too. JB had a solution for it, that worked for me:

 

I entered each command like that : Open console; 1st command; close console; open console; 2nd command and so on.(maybe the open/close thing for each step was unnecessary, dont know)  In my case it worked.

Btw, the usage of AAF Doppelganger NPC has a (somewhat) unintended consequence of "quantuum entanglement": if PC alters her looks (barber or slm), it will be mirrored to the clone after the next game save load that contained the changed PC.
