So like, the real life version is opening your purse to pull out a bottle of nail polish, but since the hotkey is a mirror, they mean "use the compact mirror" to emulate just opening the purse.  Psh, I have like 5 bottles of polish in my bag, 4 colors and a clear coat because nails constantly chip if you just look at them funny, so touch ups are a real thing girls do for sure!  My mom taught me to always keep a bottle of my usual colors in there along with makeup and some candy because nobody can ever have enough purse candy 🥰

Oh, okay, you convinced me. I can imagine one or two nail polishes in a purse, but given that we'll have 18 options, 12 of which are long press-on nails that I think require glue and tweezers, that's a hardware store.

 

Eyeliners. I tried with eyeshadows first; Lee was willing to introduce it, but it didn't look right. I'll have to try again another time; at least I have the textures done.

What I'd do with the nails, is give the bag an option to reapply the nailpolish set at the pedicure set. Having one bottle of nailpolish in my handbag is normal I think? But to apply a different color, you'd need to go back to the full pedicure set. That way it's convenient to use, the full set keeps some unique function, and it's fairly realistic. And same for lipstick.

That would be nice, that's more or less what I already do with the "fix lipstick" option. But unfortunately my mod doesn't track what nails you have on. It only knows you have them on, but not the color/type.

 

But I can work on that. I like that idea better than having 18 nail polishes.

 

If you want the most varied options, either use the kit or call Michelle.

I have a small sewing kit in mine for loose buttons and snags on clothes, a pair of extra socks "in case mine get wet", nail polishes, full makeup from foundation to the glitter you put on top of the eyeshadow and a whole palette of colors, a bunch of hard candy somewhere in there, IDs, prerolls, cigarettes, and a pair of fishnets in case of a "fashion emergency".  Obviously also the essentials too like hand lotion, perfume, nail clippers, tweezers in case of eyebrow emergencies, etc.  My bag is not much bigger than the heart purses 🤣 it really like a tiny TARDIS.  Switching purses is kinda a task you take the afternoon for and dedicate it to just that XD

• Uninstall "NAF Check Patch for version 7.1.3" if you have it installed; it's already included in the main mod.

 

 

TWEAKS 

 

• The script for lipsticks has been updated. You need SFT version 1.3.5 or higher.
• If you don't have it updated, the mod will warn you every time you try to apply lipstick.
• Washing your face will no longer affect lipsticks.
• To remove lipsticks, you'll have a new option in "Lipsticks", in the compact mirror.
• You can use the compact mirror to reapply nail polish that you applied using the beauty kit or with Michelle.
• So, apply a nail polish after this update to enable this option in the compact mirror. Once you do that, you'll see the option.
• If you apply nail polish in third person, you'll see Nora/Norita looking at her nails in a similar way to the first person version. 😍

 

 

• The black slave at the base of the Packs now has a strap-on equipped.
• Savoy is another NPC who will recognize your lipsticks if you greet him (Norita only).
• He also has special comments if you take him to DC and give him oral sex.
• Savoy also recognizes if Norita is blushed.
• Rimjobs will now also leave lipstick smudges.
• Kissing men will now leave smudges on them for 15 seconds.

This "check nails" in third person is vanilla, hidden in a set of animations that belong to Dr. Amari. For some reason, she's the only one with a bunch of girly idle animations. She's on par with Elder Maxson, Kellogg, and the Mayor. The other one with unique animations is Marcy Long (crossing her arms, putting her hands on her hips).

Hi, I’m having an issue with the Crawling mode. When I try to trigger Crawling, my character just crouches instead of crawling. Could you please help me figure out what might be causing this?

EDIT: Yall, I did a stupid and it was all on me.  

 

I had my purse set with the keyword for porn star so it registered me as wearing one of my pornstar outfits because it was equipped 😅

 

 

Ran into a small issue in my current playthrough which I'm not sure is a mod related issue, or something on my end, but I'm having trouble with "Kill me Softly" where I've not previously encountered this problem

 

I'm currently using 7.5 update, and everything else has gone smoothly until this spot.

It's the stage where you go hunting with grandpa and the girls, and you meet him at his truck.  No matter what outfit I wear, I'm getting the line where he asks you to change outfits to something more appropriate to hunt in, regardless of what I'm wearing.  I've tried with the dirty outfit, Nisha outfit, Music outfit, DB Tech uniform and also cheat terminal added wastelander clothes just to double check that it's not somehow just showing the outfits as porn outfits.  None worked for this.  I'm guessing something just got mis-clicked somewhere during an update

He doesn't want anything with the "porn star" keyword in it. Any normal clothes are fine. 

 

I'm sure no accessory has that keyword (jewelry, purses) but just in case, don't equip it.

This helped a lot 🖤 I know exactly what caused it

 

Earlier in the game I'd gone through and edited some outfits to show the porn star keyword.  While not really paying attention I accidentally altered the purse Sophie gives you in DC by mistake and you can't alter it back, so I thought well I hope this won't somehow come back to bite me in the butt, but what harm could it cause.  Yeah.  Guess what I had equipped along with each outfit selection 🤣  Thank you <3
