Problems of Survivor

I have a problem where some of the followers simply wont follow me,  So far it happens with Mile Dom and Nate the synth.
Mile dom works normally until after the first conversation. Where he doesnt follow me. If I talk to him he simply says "Ready for Mile dom?" When I press "ready!" He just says lets go, but doesnt follow, and the dialog tree remains the same as if i never pressed ready (With ready grayed out of course) 

Nate the synth just goes "ready for the road" and when I click ready he doesnt follow either, and has the same issue as mile dom. 
Have I fucked the install or is there a fix to this? 

Edit: I tried to start a new game with a new char but the problem remains.

The PC constantly teleports when entering locations. It's possible the issue is with teleportation and item movement; the scripts are simply choking, even though I pause them for a second.

There were reports that followers refused to stop following. I don't know why, I simply copied the quest and scripts from vanilla followers, and they worked before.

Thats not the issue, the issue is they wont start following me.
