ds64 Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 You forgot Fate/Zero I haven't even watched Fate/Stay Night. I see Saber alot when I'm browsing for new wallpapers.. Maybe I should watch it sometime. I haven't watch fate/zero, fate/zero is 10 year before Fate/stay, but I've finished fate/stay, it's good. I didn't like the ending in the fate/stay though, I prefer the Unlimited Blade Works route rather than fate route.. still... My fave char is archer with his Unlimited Blade Works... it's quite surprising when I played the VN... That smile in the last moment showed us who he is...
Kurekure Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I've been watching Ergo Proxy and Black Lagoon as of late. They are both quite interesting. I'm around 13 episodes in, I can't say I like Re-L much, she has been nothing but a brat so far. But I suppose that only leaves room for character development. It's quite a shame that the animation in this show is so inconsistent. From this season of anime I've been watching a bit of Kill La Kill with my friends, and Kyoukai no Kanata on my own. KnK has been a enjoyable ride thus far, I think I will check out more KyoAni stuff in the future after this series is finished.
Molevalence Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I was never much of a anime fan. I can watch it but it never really got my attention. Only a few anime series I watched got my attention and they were Hellsing original and OVA series, Evangelion... yeah the ending sucked... Inuyasha or however you spell it. The guy with the cat ears and the giant red coat. Watched about 160 episodes then lost track. Never got back to it. I did watch the original Astro Boy though as a child. Wonder how he's doing.

I loved Re-l since the start, though.
Victoria K. Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 I'm passionate about anime. The old school ones, 70s/80s. I have my special preferences among them but that's what I like, no recent ones for me.
Wolfoftheshadows Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I started off watching Dragon Ball Z and Inuyasha. I love Inuyasha and I will keep watching it until I'm an old man. So many people hated it because it was so popular during it's time, but it was a great anime. I ignore the hype and enjoy the adventure. The one I've watched the most is FullMetal Alchemist. I've watched and read all I could many, many times. It's my all time favorite and I always cried during it because of the bond those brothers had.

F**k.. NOOOOO!!! WHY!! (my reaction as a people who's watching it from the start) [video=youtube] Chrno Crusade is good too, it has different ending between the manga and the anime, the manga is a little bit better than anime ver.. but both still sad... Feels Trip comin...
Arcueid Brunestud Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Would anyone tell me any or best, a list of animes that have a harem/open end relationship? I'm sick that all of my best girls almost always lost. Owh, no OreImo please. The ending is as subtle as banging my head on a brick.

Sure, but if you wanted some good romance I recomended: I'S Pure Amagami True Tears Clannad I don't remember the rest... ah, I forgot this, haganai (Boku Wa Tomodachi Ga Sukunai/ I don't have many friends) it's a harem too..
Kendo 2 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 I'm looking for gritty crime drama or action anime. 'Black Lagoon' or '009-1' type stuff. Echii/Yuri/Boin is okay but I'm not in the mood for silly Magic-Girl or weak male protagonists. Anyone have suggestions?
Arcueid Brunestud Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 The weak male protagonist is in the fad right now. Long gone where males were the strong leading heroes. Wait! The male protagonist is not weak, it is pathetically weak male protagonist! :sigh:
Cynical Misanthrope Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I don't watch Anime. I just can't stand it. Been trying to watch a few random ones, but I guess it's not for me.
Kendo 2 Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 It REALLY depends on what it is in my case. I guess my all-time favorite is Shigurui Death Frenzy. It is based on the novel Suruga-jō Gozen Jiai by Norio Nanjō. I watch it every so often and it is NOT like anything you would expect. It is serious drama/action and visually stunning. There are no typical anime elements in it at all.
The DarkSlayer Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I don't watch Anime. I just can't stand it. Been trying to watch a few random ones, but I guess it's not for me. You must be watching the shitty ones cause there's a lot of them. Probably the only MC in a romcom that doesn't piss me off is Hachiman from Oregairu. He's like Batman (from the Dark Knight movies) in some ways, willing to be a complete jackass and takes the blame just to maintain the status quo. The most original character I've seen in a while.

I was about to suggest Mnemosyne, but I suppose "no weak male protagonist" wasn't meant as "no male protagonist at all".
Kendo 2 Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 @Corpus Thanks for the suggestion. It is on my watch list.
Emprah Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. First anime I ever watched, and I quite enjoyed it.

FurryPornForLife Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I watch some anime but only action packed anime such as Trigun,Blue Exorcist,Full Metal Alchemist(original and brother hood),Hellsing(original and ultima, though I'm still waiting for the last eps to be dubbed),Ghost in The Shell,Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. If I had to choose one of the animes I listed it would either be Trigun or FMA.
Angrybird Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. First anime I ever watched, and I quite enjoyed it. Yeah it's great, probably even the author doesn't know if he's an idiot or a genius.
