Koko.Hekmatyar Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I take back what I said about Log Horizon being an SAO rip off. It's actually pretty good.
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Switching to and from Zoids Genesis, Bakugan: Gundalian Invaders and Sonic Soldier Borgman (which is so 80s that it burns).
FallenWarrior Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 I dropped Photo Kano in favor for Golden Time, which is getting more interesting after the second episode.
Call me Mark Posted October 16, 2013 Author Posted October 16, 2013 Watched Valvrave. Dropped it halfway through. I kinda laughed at its plot about mech riding/body snatching/raping vampires. I'm not kidding about the raping part. And fawk the characters annoy me as hell, well except for L-elf.
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Valvrave isn't actually that bad and can it really be considered rape when the person it happened to didn't mind it in the least and as of ep 13 is willing to do it again?
Demonwise Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I watch a LOT of anime but almost exclusively romance, or ecchi. I do occasionally enjoy a good adventure/fighting anime like Fairy Tail or Bleach. Actually one of the best shows I have seen that had fighting, drama, and ecchi in it was Highschool DxD. Rosario+Vampire was another good one. I have found that the Anime News Network site is a fantastic resource for finding good anime. Google it, you'll find it. I have a few guidelines though when it comes to the anime I watch. (1) It really should be a full season of 24 episodes or more. Actually the more the better. I really can't get into the ones with only 12 episodes. (2) I enjoy drama but not tragedy. The first time I watched Shuffle I cried at the end but since it had a happy ending I enjoyed the show. I can share a list of the shows that I have if anyone is interested.
Call me Mark Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 I tend to avoid ecchi anime in all honesty. I'd rather watch hentai instead haha. So I ended up rewatching Fate Zero and Code Geass. Man I just can't get enough of these two. I'll rewatch some other epic ones, Death Note, Gundam 00 and Madoka and I forgot the other ones, I need to put them on a list haha.
Demonwise Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I tend to avoid ecchi anime in all honesty. I'd rather watch hentai instead haha. problem with hentai is that you can rarely fine ones with a decent story line. After all they figure your just watching so that you can get yourself off. Ecchi is the closest thing you can find to a hybrid between good plot line anime and hentai.
Call me Mark Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 Good plot? haha.... wait you're serious.... The closest thing to an ecchi anime that actually has a great plot is Madoka and I don't even consider it an ecchi anime, I'm just quoting someone here, you know who you are haha. But seriously I've watched a bunched of them, DXD, Highschool of the dead, To love ru, Freezing, Rosario vampire and Sekirei. I can't even remember the name of their respective characters especially their protagonists, but I do remember they're dense as fawk haha.
Call me Mark Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 Which reminds me... WHEN THE HELL IS THE NEXT EP OF CODE GEASS BOUKOKU NO AKITO GONNA BE RELEASED!?
The DarkSlayer Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I was actually expecting Highschool of the Dead to be like The Walking Dead and it turned out to be an ecchii anime. Got really disappointed after that lol. So I just saw this Fall's new anime line up, might consider watching some of Kyoani's new works, asides from that the other ones are not really peeking my interest. Oh there's a new ecchi anime all about wrestling, might watch it too since I've played Rumble Roses lmao
ds64 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 ah... you mean "Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai!"??

Everyone has their own tastes. Mine differ from yours and I happen to think that Highschool DxD was amazing so there!
The DarkSlayer Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 ah... you mean "Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai!"?? Is that the title? *goggles* Yup thats it alright, so yeah gonna watch it lol
ds64 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 well yeah, most of the ecchi male protagonist usually is so dense, but that makes the series more funny, but really... some of them make me want to say... btw, I loved ecchi anime too hentai?? Onichichi... LOL and lastly try boku no pico, it's soooooo awesome.... it's gonna leave a mark in your memory...
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Wait, the female Guyver is actually canon in the manga?! MY WORLD HAS BEEN SHATTERED And her Mega Smasher is even charged and fired from the modules that form her breasts...
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Think about it the Bio Armor conforms to the wearer so it being usable by a female is not really that far of a stretch. BTW if you like the Manga you should check out the Guyver Anime.
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 But that would mean either her breasts are suppressed or they don't exist in bio boosted mode, since the Mega Smasher chargers exist right where they should be. Plus, the user has some pretty large breasts to begin with, so...
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 well they never did take reality into account when they did these Armors so we got to give them a little leeway from time to time.
Vulon Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I haven't watched any anime recently; the last two I remember watching are AnoHana (full title's a lot longer, can't remember it) and Usagi Drop, which both really tugged on the ol' heartstrings. Oh, and the movie Perfect Blue - watched that a few months ago. Good stuff. My favorite anime of all time is most likely Monster. Anyone here seen it? Some of my other favorites are Welcome to the NHK!, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai X, DBZ, Code Geass, Eden of the East, Comic Party, Cowboy Bebop, Paprika, Full Metal Panic, etcetera. I went through a depressing period of time in 10th grade when I just stayed in bed almost all day (every day) and watched tons of anime. There's plenty more I've seen, but nothing comes to mind at the moment...ahhh, the good ol' days of unhealthy teenage angst.
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Cowboy Bebop was ok right up until the ending then it kinda sucked. I hate endings that leave you hanging on what actually happened to the protagonist, Geas was the same way there is evidence to support that he is dead but at the same time could be alive. FMP was also good but I wish they would either reboot the series from scratch or start it up again seeing as there is A LOT more material for them to use for the anime series.
ds64 Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 ^ ah monster... I only read the manga, that was some heavy psychology and story, but nice to read anyway. For a feels trip, you already watch anohana, so try to watch angel beats, clannad and clannad after story.
