Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Not sure what I should do after finishing Headmasters; if I should go on to Masterforce and then Victory, if I should go to Robots In Disguise (AKA Car Robots), or look up Beast Wars II and Neo. I want to watch them all eventually, just not sure what ones I should tackle first...

Thorham Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Here are a few non-pornographic, no fan service, adult anime: Uchuu Kyoudai Chihayafuru Mushishi Kaiji
woodenstick Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mztpj06ykyQStarted going through all the ghibili films again, but can't bring myself to watch this one. Last time I did (first time seeing the movie) I cried so hard I couldn't see out of my eyes, so many tears it turned opaque. And god that ost.... Kicks you right in the soft spot. Totally recommend all of you to watch it to brighten up your day though
Call me Mark Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 Shingeki and Monogatari S2. Damn, Levi is a complete badass on the latest ep. Spoiler ALERT! You have been warned haha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OD2MTrOwZQ
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Reading through the Transformers manga compilation before diving into more of the Japanese shows.
LordJerle Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Is it just me or are the last two Bleach mangas a lot shorter?
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Imagine the filler that will be needed to make that an episode.
FallenWarrior Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Just finished watching all 4 seasons of Minami-ke
LaEspada Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I saw this new anime called RWBY that's made by Rooster Teeth (same guys who made Red Vs Blue) and it's absoultely amazing! You can see all their episodes (up to current #9) on their website! For an American made anime, it's absolutely gorgeous!

CharlieFoxxx Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 eureka 7? have you tried that, I loved that show
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Fanservice? In MY Transformers? But, then again... Thunderblast...
LaEspada Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 eureka 7? have you tried that, I loved that show The first season was great, but the second season... let's just say we were let down very much.
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 E7 was... decent, I guess. But the follow up, Astral Ocean, is terrible.
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 eureka 7? have you tried that, I loved that show The first season was great, but the second season... let's just say we were let down very much. Technically Eureka 7 AO was the third season but it was actually more of an offshoot of the original story. However, The original Eureka Seven had two seasons, season 1 was episodes 01-13 and season 2 was episodes 14-26
FallenWarrior Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Started watching Photo Kano. It's been ok so far, but only time will tell if it turns out good or not.
SAKE Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I've watched so far, Elfen Lied, Fairy Tail, Sword Art Online, Full Metal Alchemist, some of D. Gray Man (no thanks to Netflix removing it), some of Angel Beats oh and Sailor Moon ^^ Also going to watch Soul Eater, Code Geass, Ghost in the Shell and maybe Lucky Star. 1
Ark of Truth Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 CodeGeassR1/R2 , Clannad, ToraDora < the last 2 made me cry I thought it was almost impossible to make you cry?
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Clanned and Clanned Afterstory I could see making someone cry it's a very emotional series but Toradora didn't really have that much of an impact on my emotional state. If you want an anime that can invoke tears try Tasogare Otome x Amnesia (Dusk Maiden of Amnesia)<--English title if you'd rather watch it in English instead of Japanese with Subtitles.
ds64 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 anohana > angel beats > clannad after story....If you're gonna watch that, prepare some tissue paper... for a feels trip.... IS Pure quite good too... The boyfriend sacrifice.... Edit : I forgot about "Chrono Crusade".. After I finished the manga, I don't wanna see the anime (I'm not ready for another feels trip..) but when I see the last episode... ( why... WHY...) It has different ending than manga, but still sad... and... Samurai X reflection director's cut... you will see the late life of the battousai, and his son.. It's sad too.. (that cherry blossom scene....)
LaEspada Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Hm I'm thinking of watching the Zettai Karen Children series, not the unlimited one. Also is it any good? Anyone know where I can download the full series in mp4?
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Currently; Robots in Disguise: episode 11 Victory: episode 14 EDIT; I finally managed to find DBZ: Battle of Gods in English, and... First of all, Super Saiyan God is a terrible power up. Goku becomes leaner and he has red hair; whoo. At this point, I would rather they have kept Super Saiyan 4. Secondly, they referenced Yo! Son Goku And His Friends Return!! Which is a special I hated because they completely snubbed Tien with the excuse of his voice actor dying and being little more than an excuse to have more fucking Trunks and Goten screen time. But to its credit, it actual DID have Tien in it, so that's a plus. Thirdly, and this is the single biggest problem I have; the CGI for the fight scenes. Whatever budget they had was not enough, because it looks fucking terrible; it's on par with the stuff from Transformers: Energon, an already small budget anime from 2004. Up until this point, everything looked fine; the animation was pretty great... and then the shit CGI kicked in. I know it's a bit blurry, but look at that; that's on par with fucking Beast Wars from 1997. Can't even make bubbles look not terrible. And I swear, in some scenes it looks like instead of the drawn models for Goku and Bills, it looks like they swapped in CGI models, perhaps ones made for a game. Aside from that, the animation was gorgeous, Trunks and Goten were a tiny part instead of being the main fucking characters, Android 18 actually fought... for a second, but still!... and in the end... Goku actually lost when at full power and ended up NOT being the most powerful, uber HAX being in the universe. ... and that's pretty awesome. So the movie... it's not bad, I would actually rate it above several of the DBZ films, but in the end the issues I had in the spoiler killed it. For me, anyway.
FallenWarrior Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 While waiting for Photo Kano to pick up, I've been watching Tamayura: More Agressive and it has been okay. Just don't expect much from it.
