Then those skeletons were probably present in the area, not spawned but brought to your spot. ND does not track the exact NPC that defeated you, only the general type (i.e. undead) AFAIK. It then looks for creatures of that type within its search radius, brings them to you and ...

I realize that this is the result of the mods I chose (Devious Interests and Deviously Helpless along with Devious Curses NG) but this was one or two game days of activity.  So know I can only walk, have no armor, no weapons, little money and no keys to remove anything.  I just don't know how people actually play the game like this.   If this is what DDs are supposed to be like, no thanks.  You did provide a few suggestins for mods.  If you could critique my added mods and have any thoughts about making changes, I would appreciate it.  (I've already restarted after disabling them out of frustration but I'm only in the start room and can start again easily)  Thank you.  

Hey, great post.  I had looked at adding them but there were so many mods that use them, I hadn't decided.  I'm back to trying to get ND working again so following your posts for a while.  Later....

Hi, i don't understand why but when i'm defeat my game CTD at the moment i read the notif i will be fucked 1/x round ans only at this moment.

 

on my previous save i didn't had this problem... can you help me pls?

I'm not really sure what to do here. I've never had an issue with this mod until recently. Everything works fine, except for the struggle minigame when you're captured, and the furniture. Neither of them show up. Instead I just sit on my hands and knees in a crawling position when it comes to a whipping scene, then I'm let go. Is there a way to fix this?

If I start SSEEdit 4.1.5f, I get some errors in nade [SCEN] records, e.g. nade_FollowerIdleScene_01_crux, something seems not to be ok, is this harmful ?

Edit: Hopefully harmless, because when I started SSEEdit a second time, I didn't got these errors. Maybe SSEEdit had had something cached from the old Naked Defeat.esp from before I updated to the new one (though, can't imagine that they don't calculate a hash_code, or so, to notice if .esps have changed, strange).

Is it just me or does the robbing inventory feature takes too long to finish? I don't think it was like this in the older 4.90 versions.

I tested the death/punishment scenario.  Although it was slow to activate once I was defeated, it may have been due to another mod trying to activate at the same time.  I could see the images changing as the game was working through the script while the screen was blurred.  This was not a normal defeat either.  A baka trap took my health to zero.  Everything worked correctly once ND decided to activate the death option.  I was teleported to Sky Haven Temple location, "interacted" with a gargoyle type character 3 times, blur screen, robbed, and teleported close by where I was defeated.  The "bandit" that robbed me was near riften so it was a trek to reach him.  Probably as a trap "killed" me.  

 

Update:  2nd death scenario.  Sent to the same place, worked very quickly this time, but there were no bad guys there.  No ghosts, creatures, nothing.  I reloaded as I didn't want to run all the way from Sky Haven Temple.

I noticed some difficulty with the Acheron bridge, particularly when handing off to Simple Slavery after ND is finished. The character is in a perpetual bleedout state. Elsewhere on this thread people have posted a workaround using console commands. 

The root cause is that the bridge script is not notifying Acheron that the hand off has been completed, and that Acheron should no longer monitor that player. The fix is pretty simple for whoever maintains the Acheron-ND bridge script. Just add these lines after you check for the existence of the ND event:

        Actor Player = Game.GetPlayer()
        if acheron.IsDefeated(Player)
            acheron.RescueActor(Player, true)
        elseIf acheron.IsPacified(Player)
            acheron.ReleaseActor(Player)
        endIf

I tested that out by recompiling the bridge script and getting defeated a few times (both getting sent to SS and not) and that cleared up the issues for me (the player is no longer stuck in bleedout after ND terminates.  I haven't tested it, but this probably also fixes times when Acheron hands a player off to ND that ND cannot handle (such as the player was defeated by a creature that ND is configured to ignore). Such times would cause a ND abort, but the player would be stuck in bleedout.

Hello everyone ! 

I 've installed this awesome mod and most of recomended mods a week ago and i found it absolutely fantastic. Incredible work, many thanks for it

I didn't found major issues with installation and most of my mistakes i was capable to fix by myself. Game is pretty stable and all good for now

Howewer i want to ask you about another thing

As i mentioned above i've installed a lot of anim packs, all of them i have registered and i can see new animations adding to scenes, all great, but i still didn't saw maybe half of all animations wich were installed.

I want to ask - are there any rules what kind of animations will be chosen in certain situations? I recognized some differenses in indoor and outdoor scenes

For example will scenes when my character was captured by humans be diffrent with situations when my char was captured by vampries ? Another DD devices?
Or it's just a random or my mistakes in installation?
Should i dig deeper in attempts to resolve it or just relax and enjoy ?

Others may be able to help more but much of the variety should come from  your MCM settings.  I disable foreplay and bukkake and forced bathing so I won't see those.  Also, If you are not defeated often like me, the variety won't be as evident regardless of your settings.  I am using the SLATE mod and setting the tags as instructed.  I don't actually know if it works though.  I believe the tags are supposed to do the animation selections.  I'm still learning how to update sexlab after adding the tags though.  SLATE first, update/register/json something in sexlab.  May look there.  I do agree with you about ND.  The variety of what can happen is really amazing.

I found something in my research too. Almost always something named 61 choosen for animation. I found new animations when 125 was chosen, but it happend only one time
i still don't understand what does it mean and how i can to deal with it

Just updated my version from an older one to the latest. I also updated DD and got the new Zaz version to do with the fix patch I have, but for some reason I keep getting CTDed.

From what I've been able to tell, it seems to be a DD issue? So I tried fixing that but it keeps crashing. This is on a male character that uses Himbo and TNG so I'm wondering if it's incompatible?

is there NO WAY to disable all this send after life  event ALLL time -_- and all time robbery when even its on 0% ...  ..    so far all bug happen in 5.26 like all time robbery and after life its happen to 5.28  too .....

I do not currently have death/execution enabled if I'm not mistaken but that is something I'll have to verify later. I will have to double check my settings for theft as well, I'm hesitant to jump the gun on labeling it a bug seeing as how most of the issues I tend to experience end up being the result of my incompetence.

 

I do believe I have all the hard requirements installed, along with most if not all semi-hard requirements. The only thing I neglected to install is Archeron from the soft dependencies section as it seemed to be related to the execution mechanic which I hadn't planned on using. As far as registering goes, this is my current theory for the source of most if not all of my issues. I thought I had understood how registering worked but I've since received popups indicating I might not have done things correctly. I often struggle with reading comprehension so my current plan is to review things to see where I might've misunderstood.

 

Typically any event where I've died or surrendered tends to go one of two ways. Usually after being defeated my character will take a moment to stand up, then will squirm for a bit while the enemies gather for the first rounds of animations to play. After the animations have finished playing my character will usually be whipped for awhile, then I will get the message that they have decided to release me due to my condition. The other common instance I experience is that after being defeated I will get a message telling me that a bandit has my gear and a quest pointing to them, then I am teleported to sky haven temple where I squirm on the central table for a moment before the game says "naked defeat aborted" and I regain controls for my character.

 

I appreciate the explanation of the chance sliders, that is completely different from how I had interporated it.

I've been experimenting with this mod a decent amount and I think I've gained enough of an understanding on how it operates to make an addendum to my previous post so that I might go into better detail on the issue I have been running into.

 

The gist of the problem is that the toggles for the robbery and execution features seem to do nothing. (on my default mod profile at least)

 

I definitely do not have robbery or execution enabled, but I am constantly being teleported to sky haven temple and having my things taken by bandits. Strangely enough the "rob only gold" toggle seems to work even though the robbery toggle seems to have no effect.

 

I've been considering the possibility of a mod conflict being at the core of this issue seeing as how it only seems to occur for some people, However I downgraded to the stable version Talesien had recently posted and the issue ceased to occur. This casts some doubt in my mind on the theory of a possible mod conflict, but I do not believe it's enough to rule it out.

 

I went ahead and created a mod profile for testing purposes with only the bare necessities for running this mod and was not able to replicate the issue, so that might indicate stronger support for the mod conflict theory.

 

Honestly I'm not really sure what to think and I'd be curious what you all have to say. If it truly is a mod conflict I'm really hoping there is some way of pinpointing the culprit without having to check every mod one by one. I currently use 1114 mods and honestly I don't know if I have it in me to go through them all.

 

I sincerely hope none of what I've said comes off as if I am entitled or blaming anyone for this. I understand there are limits to what you can assist with, and with developing something of this complexity and scale issues like this are pretty much inevitable. Oh, I'm actually experiencing the exact same issue as you. I eventually ended up rolling back to an older version as well. I'm really surprised to hear that it works fine for you with a minimal mod setup. I'm also using the Lorerim mod list (which is quite large), and I suspected it might be a mod conflict, but the fact that it works with just the bare minimum pretty much confirms it for me now. are you using any death alternative mods? on my ends its using a Respawn - Soulslike Edition    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/69267    (I disabled it through MCM and its works fine on older version of Naked defeat)

This casts some doubt in my mind on the theory of a possible mod conflict, but I do not believe it's enough to rule it out.

 

I went ahead and created a mod profile for testing purposes with only the bare necessities for running this mod and was not able to replicate the issue, so that might indicate stronger support for the mod conflict theory.

 

Honestly I'm not really sure what to think and I'd be curious what you all have to say. If it truly is a mod conflict I'm really hoping there is some way of pinpointing the culprit without having to check every mod one by one. I currently use 1114 mods and honestly I don't know if I have it in me to go through them all.

 

I sincerely hope none of what I've said comes off as if I am entitled or blaming anyone for this. I understand there are limits to what you can assist with, and with developing something of this complexity and scale issues like this are pretty much inevitable. I understand if there is nothing anyone can do for me here and I'm grateful for all your help.

Well, I can tell you I do not experience that Afterlive bug in my 2.7k modlist. If all else fails we could try and create a delta of our lists to see which ones you use that I don't. OTOH it could also be that I don't get that bug, because I've a bug fix for something that causes it, which your list lacks, so it might not be as easy as ruling out mods.

I've got the same issue, big modlist, even loading it last and making sure nothing overwrites but i get the slow robbed and afterlife, maybe add an update that just outright disables them if possible?

While I was testing the latest version, I experienced a very high rate of dream scenes after defeat.  I plan to revert to the prior version until it is updated.  From the comments, this seems to be a common experience with the latest version.

ok ok i test again and again start so many new game and in finally  i find a way to work on it no more after life and robbery over and over ... u need first have clean save from acheron and then u have install the Naked Defeat with out Acheron mode .. if u start new game like i did with alter new life mode u better choice ur life from altar and after that u sleep and wake up in ur nice life u have save game and install Acheron and make sure in Naked Defeat that option Defeat on bleeding chance be on 0 and let Acheron send u to defeat event in .. then its all good ..in end all u need is first install Naked Defeat ALONE then start game script running then install archon other wise its will show up ALL time after life and robbery also make sure when u run with Acheron bridge that Defeat chance on Bleeding will be 0 % in naked defeat MCM  and yes Nymra, said that too in mode discript first page u can see it about set to 0 chance.................... also without Acheron it will show all time the robbery and after life cuz instead u stay in bleeding stage when u defeat in normal ur character collapse on ground as dead not struggling

also as long use Acheron Bridge u better disable the extra crawling on ground its act so funny :P  in Acheron isnt big deal if u ok with way animation work but sometime after event end u cant move

That would very much defeat the idea of a death alternative mod now, wouldn't it? The one reason I always stuck with ND is that it does not fail it's core function. Which is to keep me alive, no matter if combat, traps, falling, drowning ... I expect a Death Alternative mod to prevent the reload because of death. Otherwise it has no business in my LO.

Not necessarily. With the option to disable it. This option would be very


immersive since it could flip heads or tails where you will be saved or not killed. 
The author himself said he would work on this option. I just hope for an update.
