Tried to up date from 4.7.3 to 4.9.1 (LE) and I get a CTD upon seeing/doing anything DOM related. Checked the logs but there is nothing there, so I am not sure why the CTD is happening.  I am also running PAH 8.1.9, HSH 1.33b, and AYGAS 0.63b.   DOM 4.7.3 runs.. okay (buggy and crashes at times) but mostly stable, can play my game etc.  4.9.1 is simply unplayable for me.

 

Any ideas/suggestions?

Move everybody to HSH or PAHE before upgrading.

I just bought the SE/AE version of Skyrim, my version is 1.6.640.0, I am new to this mod, it has became my favorite mod for Skyrim yet. I've tried searching and searching and my eyes and patience won't let me read 331 pages of comments. I'm pretty sure my question has been asked and answered. My questions is, how do you buy the slaves or bid on them at the auction in The Restless Hunter? Is there a hot key or what? Thanks in advance.

I find like mod that like with SOS stop working, so you may wish to look to see if any of those mods you have made in to ESL and if they have issue like this. I remember a at first when I went to AE I had to make sure everything was up to date with AE, I know like networks don't work with AE, there was another mod that would pop errors like that,. but I am not remembering which one it was and I know it was with or linked with papyrus, but was not papyrus it self, let me see if I can find the ones I had to update with AE. What version of papyrus are you using? and I know i had to add in power of 3's papyrus extender, for another mod I have but I am not sure if it had to do with papyrus its self. 

Also one thing I did notice coming up as lot was " File: "CS_Ingun.esp" ' in your log, I this a re-image of Ingun? if so and are you having "play time" with here when the error occurs?

The default input for bidding in the auction is Enter, if other npc is also bidding (and the price going up) you need to press enter again til finally you won the bid

I bought a new rig and now switched to SE. My old LE setup worked like a clockwork and almost crash free but there are to many new good mods for SE. Not to mention if DOM support for LE ceases I have to do this anyway

 

 

This is like 2017 again figuring out how to install SKSE and stuff.

Congrats on the new rig!

 

Pay attention to the mods with dll. These are the hardest to figure out since you have different versions for SE, AE, VR, GOG, plus the actual game version, of course. Check skse log to make sure all dll are properly loaded.

 

And don't forget to start Sexlab from the MCM!

I do agree that it should be more options for buying slaves. Like buying prisoners from jail or from wandering patrols. That would be a start.

I ask because I have an idea for an add-on, or patch, or whatever you think is most appropriate.  If you have Legacy of the Dragonborn installed, the safehouse has a mod where one of the bedroom sections can become a small prison.  I was thinking of something that would tie that to your mechanics, so - cage the slave in the safehouse, and it actually has an effect.  At the moment I think that mod is just window dressing for vampire 'cattle'.

 

I have other ideas if you're interested.  Nothing complicated, just thoughts, but I'm playing a rather evil character, so perhaps I should seperate out the more extreme ones.  ?

Hello, good morning, afternoon or evening, I was looking for Mods to give "Life" to skyrim and I saw your mod and I find all the work behind it impressive. Looks like a great mod. I would like to know if this mod could be translated to other mods. languages, for example in Spanish, my problem is that I am terrible at English (I think that when writing this comment you have already realized), if this mod could be translated it would be great.

The MCM part is translated. Translating the text is harder because of the way the sentences are constructed. Any translation would have to deal with minimal script change. Some good souls tried it, but gave up after sometime. Probably because I have very specific demands.

Hi, I recently downloaded the new update but I didn't have time to check the new improvements but this weekend I will go full Griffith in skyrim, haha!

Ok first thing I noticed is that something is not working about stripping a slave like in the video. And what happened to the dialogue "forget about your outfit but keep your stuff"?

Ok, you asked for it.  But bear in mind, I've never even attempted a mod.  Ever.  So, I've no idea how feasible my ideas are to create.

I'll start with one simple one, then one I consider more...niche.

 

This one, I think, would be relatively easy.  Basically, hide bits in quests where, if a slave is present, events during that quest would affect their traits.  (I'll use Kimli.  She strikes me as innocent (well...she WAS...), impressionable, hopelessly naive, has the brains of an ice cube, and generally fun to torture.  I've know idea why. )

 

For example:  suppose I take Kimli with me while I'm doing House of Horrors. I succeed, Kimli survives, Molag Bal gives me the mace.  At some point during the reward scene, the slave's submission and anger peak permanently.  She's always calm and obedient forever after, because I just put the fear of ME into her.  To justify it, I would think if a slave is owned by someone who's favoured by the Lord of Domination, they're NOT likely to argue or disobeey.  They could be peeing themselves at the very thought of rebellion! 

 

You get the idea. 

 

For a bit of of added atmosphere, perhaps a little animation.  I picture Kimli (who isn't that bright but knows a) who Molag Bal is, and b) to be very, very afraid) realising what's going on during the reward scene, suddenly bowing down (to me or Molag Bal, who knows...), not getting up until I say so.  Now she's on her way to being the perfect little slave.  Better a slave to me than him!)  Or, witnessing you take a dragon's soul would make you god-like in her eyes.  Things like that.  In other words, some events they are present for affects them.

 

Something more extreme dealing with traits.  Little Kimli deserves punishment.  Again.  I threaten her with pain, with rape, she just won't learn. So I tell her next time, she dies.  And she disobeys.  Again.  So I put a noose around her neck.  (custom animtion time, I know.)  Then I wait.  It isn't long before fear and anxiety shoot through the roof, then she pleads for me to spare her life.  Ok, so now I've raised the appropriate traits to the breaking point.  Now I have a choice:  I can either spare her life, or kill her.  If I spare her, those levels drop a certain amount.  She's still nervous and afraid of this happening again, but she's still alive.  I could confuse her even more by comforting her.  Poor Kimli doesnt know what to think now.  Am I her torturer or her rescuer?  On the other hand, I could kill her.  If I killed her, then resurrected her using that spell, I imagine that Kimli is now broken beyond repair.  She's smart enough to realise what just  happened.  I killed her.  She was dead, and I brought her back to life.  If I'm willing to do that, she knows that if she disobeys me again, I might kill her again, and NOT bring her back.  She's now scared to death of me, and she might even hate me.  But she'll never run away.  She'll never rebel.  She'll always do as she's told, and she'll be completely loyal because her life depends on it.  Now - how does THAT sound for a training method?

 

Something in the middle.  I don't know how you'd do this but it's a two-part process depending in the NPC you enslave.  So my character is driven by revenge against pretty much everyone, starting with Hadvar.  He wants to take everything Hadvar loves.  So he goes to Riverwood.  Kill Alvor?  No, too easy.  Hadvar is Sigrid's brother's son.  Hadvar's parents are M.I.A. so he takes Sigrid.  To humiliate and destroy her, my character enslaves her in front of Alvor.  He strips her, binds and gags her,  puts an iron collar around her neck, and rapes her in front of her husband.  Alvor's poor wife will suffer this for the rest of her life!

Now here's where my suggestion begins.

 

At the moment, Alvor doesn't give a shit.  He keeps sharpening that sword, completely oblivious to his wife's kidnapping and humiliation.  He says nothing, but puts away the sword and heads for the Sleeping Giant.  What I'd LIKE to see is him react.  Somehow.  "Please, let her go!" or "Take the bitch, I'm sick of her."  Say SOMETHING!!  ANYTHING!!  She's your wife for fuck's sake.  Or Gerdur and Hod, Camilla and Lucan...three families, three candidates for the collar, and no reaction when it happens.
So the suggestion is implement a mechanic where those who witness someone's enslavement react with some sort of comment.  We can always say "slavery is accepted, so there's no action anyone can take to stop it."  but that wouldn't stop a husband (or a nearby NPC) from making some comment, plea, something.  A passing guard might say "Pity it had to be

her", or "You'll get a good price for that one."  Just....reactions.

 

Oh...the second part is this:  let's say I enslave Sigrid.  She's basically unimportant except for some dialogue options. Is there a way to disable those options?  Seeing the modded options, then the vanilla ones (which are COMPLETELY out of character now) sort of breaks the mood, y'know?

 

There.  Three ideas.  I could go on, but it could take an entire thread by itself.  I know, I say a lot to say very little but as far as mod ideas go, since I don't know the ins and outs of creating mods, I tend to think iof them in terms of concepts, and let someine with more brains than me read it and say "well, this is easy, that would take time, etc."

 

Which is why I write them like a story.  Besides - the more I write, the more I think "this'd make one hell of a blog."
