thanks, I started a new game and had no issues with both installed. My save game was probably corrupt in some way.

I will try the NB version again after finishing this test set and before starting my new long-term game. I did like the NB interface a lot more when I tested it, but I don't think it will be stable enough to do a long-term game with. Will the xEdit patching script still work, or will it only work with Synthesis for the new version?

Aww, so many replies to people and my silly self didnt leave one for ya to reply to. Well for NO LONGER! :p

 

So, tbh I don't know where to post this, I was using a buncha mods before I tried adding UD. Like, for instance, I made a new game using the Rubber Facility mod and did the new Live Another Life option of starting in the Doll Suit restraints, and UD mentioned some error about being unable to find the device. Devious Lore had the same error tho. So, like I said, wasnt sure if the issue was because of UD, RF, or DL. If you have used the RF mod, maybe you could see if UD works with it? It seemed to work with most restraints just fine, unless you had to manually add each one or something. I know DL worked with everything before I added UD tho, so figured Id post about it here.

Speaking of starting a new game, there was also an option to start in a bunch of Abadon stuff so I tried that too. After countless (in game) orgasms I feel like I probably tested all the Abadon stuff, can't think of anything right off the top of my head that was wrong with any of it but there was a lot of fun kinky ideas. Not sure how to get the Abadon stuff normally in game, like I said I just started with it, when I escaped had a bunch of black goo and other materials added by UD. So I smith'd together some more stuff to try out. Is there a list of all the wearable items added by this mod anywhere?

Anyway, after countless orgasms, I noticed that my characters arousal would keep going back up rather quickly until it would max out at 100, over and over. Having sex doesn't reset it, masturbation doesnt either. I tried going into SL Aroused and manually setting it back to 0, but then it'd just rise and rise back to 100 in no time. Also tried using the Frigid Wash potions from Cursed Loot I think, it'd drop the arousal back to 0 but then something would immediately start cranking it back up. Even setting the time rate and everything to 0 in SL Aroused, would still rise. So, it seems like something is raising the arousal, maybe a side effect of the Abadon stuff? But for some reason, I have a feeling maybe its related to Sexlab Survival. I remember there was some mention of becoming a nympho maniac somewhere over there, but I havent been able to find a mention of it on the mods front page. If anyone knows a solution, please let me know? :p

But yea, I named dropped all the mods Im using since I remember being mentioned here that there was some conflicts with some of them. I also see mentioned recently about creating a synthesis patch? But I've literally no idea how to do that or even what that is. So any explanation by you or anyone else would be appreciated. Still, after playing with UD I figure it'll stay in my line up of must have mods, so figured Id let ya know. :D

Edit= Just noticed you mentioned a github with version 3x, but I was using the one on Loverslab here so guess I was using the older 2x version. Now I gotta find the new version I suppose.

That would include DD Equip's remove devices function?

I've had to use it a couple of times on followers to remove timelocked devices UD traps stuck on them that were otherwise completely unremovable. Timelocks only seem to increment down on the player character and not NPCs.

Edit to add: I've not noticed any problems with UD after doing that, but me noticing and UD noticing are two very different things!

xEdit script should still work, but you will have to patch all mods with devices manually. In case of Synthesis, it will patch all mods at once, so its much faster and user friendly.

Whole Orgasm system got reworked in latest version. It will be almost fully natively implemented so it should be faster and more robust. Regarding the synthesis, its mainly needed if you want to play the latest version on github, as that version requires DDNG 0.4. If you use 2.1.1, you can use the patches provided with fomod. If you use mods that does not have patch, you will have to use synthesis or xEdit to make the patch, or find it somewhere on LL

Either way, try to use the version on Github, but you need to use Skyrim SE, and DDNG 0.4, otherwise it will not work

It depends on how tis implemented. If it uses DD API, it will work without issue. But if it will try to force unequip the device armors, it will break UD.

The timelocks are updated only for player and npcs that are registered. Did you try to register the NPCs ?

It might be due to negative values in the iUsedSlots variable for registered NPCs. In this case, when removing a device, the array is not sorted, and the empty item remains in the middle of the list. And because of this, the devices below stopped receiving updates to timers and other triggers.

 

I'm still not sure why this was happening, but I've run into it a few times myself, and tried to fix it (https://github.com/IHateMyKite/UnforgivingDevices/commit/0a3175a25f7a74aafa7b852e628acac8f3cdb4cc).

 

Come to think of it, this could happen due to some other mod removing the device. I have not investigated this option.

I'm pretty sure that Devious Devices Equip uses the DD API, but I've no idea how to check.

Here are more comments and feedback especially on the Abadon plug. I still like everything overall.

 

The Abadon difficulty level changes a lot with the timescale. It took me some tests to see how, but the difference is in plug and piercing cooldowns which are calculated in game time instead of real time. I could easily escape at timescale 6, but it was impossible before the plug hit full strength at timescale 20. The MCM can change this with the "cooldown multipler" option (timescale 6 = about 35%, for the same difficulty level). This works great already, you just have to know the option is there, so this comment is for other players of the mod and not a change suggestion. Also, helper cooldowns do the same thing.

 

I think that some device layer relationships are missing. I don't know if this is from DD or UD.  Here's what I mean. To reach a plug, the order is: plug <- remove belt/harness <- free hands. To reach a catsuit, the order is: catsuit <- remove arm cuffs, remove leg cuffs, remove belt, maybe others <- free hands. There is a belt/catsuit relationship, but not a catsuit/plug relationship. So the plug can be removed before the catsuit or bondage dress. Also, the random status messages say that chastity belts and bras are in direct skin contact so they should be under the catsuit/dress. I think the easy fix is to set belts/bras as being underneath catsuits/dresses, and catsuits/dresses also block plug access even without a belt. I think there are some other missing relations but that is the important one.

 

The reason for this suggestion is to improve Abandon gameplay. Instead of going straight for the plug on the third step (or even second, because a belt doesn't always spawn), more layers need to be removed first.

 

The SexLab Survival orgasm fatigue system adds to the UD gameplay loop by reducing maximum stamina and magicka as too many orgasms clear up, and has to be cleared by sleeping. A mod like Basic Camping Gear (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17492) for droppable bedrolls, or Simply Rest (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/35618) to just sleep anywhere, makes this part work well. I was totally unable to extract the charged Abadon plug until I rested up to clear all the orgasm fatigue, which added challenge.

 

SLS still works right now but is no longer being developed. It also has a lot of optional systems and gets complicated fast. Maybe the UD team could consider adding an optional native orgasm fatigue mechanic to build in the experience for anyone? In my game, UD orgasm resistance builds up to where devices have a hard time forcing another orgasm. When that happens, orgasm resistance is not in the gameplay loop anymore because I can ignore it (if SLS orgasm fatigue is not enabled). Orgasm fatigue is a strong incentive to not let it build up that far, or to rest if it does, which keeps orgasm resistance in the gameplay loop.

 

Needs mods (food, water, sleep) add even more challenge. Depending on the mod, hunger and thirst can start taking away stats and stat regen, and removing the gag becomes an important secondary goal to removing the plug. Wishlist suggestion: struggling adds extra hunger/thirst/tiredness. But there are multiple needs mods out there, so it isn't just one change.

 

I have some other observations and questions.

  • I think that the deflate minigame only plays with bound hands/arms and is automatic otherwise. For an Abadon inflatable plug, the minigame should probably happen every time as it resists.
  • I don't know what it means for a lock to be hard to reach. I don't think I notice any difficulty change?
  • FWIW, I think that 3 lockpicks in 20 seconds plays better than 2 in 20, for the lockpick minigame.
  • Crit opportunities shrink to almost none when stamina and magicka are low (e.g., orgasm fatigue). I don't think I am imagining this? When that happens, the gameplay becomes watching and waiting instead of minigames, which is less entertaining.
  • If the layering problem is not fixed, maybe the Abadon plug should be stronger (triggering more often, resisting removal, toggling other devices when removal attempts happen, etc.) based on the amount of Abadon devices currently on the player? That would also encourage removing devices before going for the plug (if the plug is guaranteed to trigger an Abadon piercing every time the player tries to remove it, then it becomes a priority to remove the piercings first, right?)
  • I do not entirely understand the "little finisher". It triggers when the plug reaches full strength, but I don't think I ever see it again. I never see it listed as being on for the plug details.

Again, continued complements on the mod. I would really like to see device layering fixed/increased for the gameplay loops if possible, the rest is more wishlist and question.

It seems the no crit issue (feature?) is related to only the Scout gear. All other restraints had crits during the Struggling minigames.

A probably stupid question.

 

I'm using NB 0502 and I can't seem to find how to register my follower in UD. I even equipped a DD on her, but she still didn't appear in the Debug menu NPC list. How do I add her?

 

 

Also, I have read in a Github comment that the 3.0 official release may be near? I'm about to start a new game (again), but I am happy to postpone it for a few days.

Did you start a new game or update an existing save? I'm asking because NPC registration stopped working consistently on my older saves after the update, I had to start over.

 

To register an NPC:
Aim at the NPC. Open the menu (usually the [ ; ] button). Select the "Register" button.

I decided to follow my own suggestion and made a device order patch for 2.1.1. Which is attached to this post in mod form, overwriting five scripts.

  • Collars, arm cuffs, and leg cuffs are an outer layer over suits
  • Suits are an outer layer over corsets, belts, bras, piercings, and plugs
  • Belts are an outer layer on clitoral piercings and plugs
  • Bras are an outer layer on nipple piercings

 

Harnesses are defined a little weird and are implemented as a belt subtype in UD. I could not decide which layer made the most sense because there are multiple counterexamples for each placement, so I left them unchanged. Which means they are treated as belts in layer order.

 

Head layers are unchanged.

 

I think this makes the most sense based on descriptions and system design, but belts/bras/corsets/harnesses will still display "above" full-body suits if the DD device hider is turned off. Keep the device hider on, ignore the visual mismatch, or headcanon an explanation about suits having perfectly-cut holes to match the devices underneath.

 

This makes the Abadon game a little bit harder by adding more steps before you can go for the plug, which was the primary goal. The changes apply to all device, though.

 

I also thought about a patch that made the Abandon plug inaccessible until all other Abadon devices came off. But I think that should be more than a simple accessibility block for better gameplay, and did not try it.

Hi there,

 

I have a little suggestion.

 

When the device has multiple locks and you are lockpicking them, after you open a lock, the mod offers the window to choose the next Lock/Shield to try to lockpick (as of 0502 NB)

 

However, when you are using a key, you need to open all locks one by one, in new sessions.

 

The suggestion is to make the Lockpicking and Unlocking minigames work similar - after opening a Lock with a Key, give the possibility to select the next Lock.

Hello,

 

Does anyone know what could cause this error [Send_MiniGameCritLoop] wrong argument? The minigame proceeds normally. However, if you reach exhausted, then your stamina stop regen-ing.

用Immersive Horses 试试吧把 骑上马后的选项改成 可以打开 选项界面,  等一段时间orgasm事件就会停止然后就可以下马了, 我最崩不住的是双重跳时候在高处突然orgasm事件从房顶上摔死了....

I dont know it.  but  im use Potions  Restore Strength or use Creation kit  make a (slot 60) Left hand ring  In non-combat situations When  wear DD equipment , the ring can add HP+MP+SP Limit   =300。 Restore HP MP SP  add = 5     in combat add move speed  70. can be easy run Escape.

A small UI issue:

- In the User Interface MCM, Device widgets section, if you change the Widgets Vertical position, the MCM does not refresh. It will show the old value and freezes the MCM until you close and reopen it.

 

 

 

Hi. How did you fix the Black Goo bug? I checked earlier that someone suggested you change the texture but you couldn't find it so you just deleted it, and it worked. Did this remain or did you change the texture of the black goo. If you did, where can I find a fitting texture?

The 0502 NB version works for me, so I assumed the devs fixed it. The Black Goo is black, does not crash. I did not try it in the official 3.0 release yet, I'm waiting for a certain mod to be updated before I start a new game.

It's not an issue of being unable to dismount, but rather a separation of rider and steed,after orgasm the event concludes,player won't return to the horseback but will instead run on the ground alongside the horse

How can we prevent this event from happening at an inappropriate time? 

 

stop it happen at Mounts and jump or into combat !
