If you used the installer then you don't need to rename anything.

It is telling me that racemenu is missing but I have it installed. Where can I find the installer? I did not see a wizard in any of the files.

Weird question but I'm kind of new to this.

anyway how do you level up in the perk tree? I've gotten to level 14 in predator skill and unlocked the voracious skill but I don't know how to unlock it. Is there a specific button I need to press, do I just leave it like that , is it a WIP or something?

With the update to 05-06 for DevourmentRefactor now if you try to eat Any npe form a mod DevourmentRefactor will Break Entirely All the Options will Disappear in the mod menu and you will no longer be able to eat ANYTHING at all

You can use the 'Devourment Settings' minor power, or press the Devourment menu key (Numpad + by default) to bring up a menu. From there, you just pick 'Perks', and then the skill tree you want to open. Alternatively, you can go to the 'Perks' section of the Devourment MCM, and there will be options to open the perk trees there.

 

If you can't open the perk trees with either of these methods, make sure you've correctly installed Custom Skills Framework.

This may be an issue with your particular game. Did you start a new game after updating Devourment?

I know how to get to the perk tree and I know how to get exp for pred and prey skills but I don't know how to level up the skill tree and that what I'm asking. How do I unlock voracious so that I can then unlock whatever else comes after that in the skill tree. I have installed every mod that was in the requirements BTW

It should work exactly like vanilla skill trees: just click on the perk you want, and it will prompt you to spend a (Devourment) perk point to unlock it if you meet the skill requirement.

 

Edit: There seems to be a graphical bug with the Devourment perk trees, where a perk node's visual appearance doesn't change to the unlocked graphic. They should still work, though.

So...any ideas, or suggestions? Because the fact that half the locational vore stuff works, and the other only targets the belly and balls regardless, of what's put in fore the locus, is really putting a damper on what is otherwise a good update.

 

I should note this is also on an entirely new save, started after I installed the May 4th update.

Love the mod, but the iNeed plugin doesn't seem to affect hunger at all, or at least not enough.

 

I had digestion time on 540 and turned it down, but it didn't seem to lower hunger. I also have tried adjusting how often the player gets hungry. I have iNeed-extended enabled as well, if that changes anything.

 

This only appeared with the new plugins--before it worked fine, if a little slow with longer digestion times.

I tried setting up the mod again starting for square one but I'm still having no luck getting it to work. It cant seem to check the debug menu anymore. This is the mod list in my vortex manager, I have the skse64 installed manually. Any help would be great.

I'm already seeing a problem with your mod list here: Part 2 of SSE Engine Fixes should not be installed using your mod manager. You need to manually unpack it directly into your game folder, where SkyrimSE.exe is. Part 1 can be installed with a mod manager.

Having issues with crashing as soon as the main menu loads, I looked through some posts but the only one I saw with CTD at main menu was about dll loader and I do not have it installed to my knowledge. I do not get a crash log it just closes as soon as the menu fully loads. I triple checked to make sure I had the requirements but maybe I am still missing one. Any ideas?

I'm having a bug where the non-lethal vore won't change to lethal when you do the appropriate dialogue. You get the "How dare you do this!" stuff, but it remains non-lethal. Is anyone else having this? (on a clean save)

I am having the same problem. On the lastest version (2021-05-06), all requirements installed (I am almost positive correctly), rest of devourment is working fine.

 

Narrowing Down the Problem:

Combat vore with struggle meter both as prey and pred works fine. Using retrovore works and starts struggle mechanic. Dialogue to initiate endo as prey or pred works. Even dialogue to initiate sexlab works. Spells, Perks, and Perk menus are working.

 

Dialogue to start digesting as prey or to digest prey when pred does not change to lethal or begin digestion/struggle. Dialogue to release prey or to be released does nothing. Tested on barebones and clean install, and tested with dialogue addons and devourment approach.

 

Addon's are the same story when I install them. The dialogue itself works fine, the approach feature and ingestion works, but not changing to lethal digestion/starting struggle, or release.

 

Dialogue I have tested:

I went through all the dialogue chains starting from when your prey automatially suggests being digested, i.e. "Really? Well, I'm not about to pass up a free meal." I also went through as many of the dialogue chains starting from "Please let me out.", "I want you to digest me.", "Let me out!", and "Slipping down your throat ~so good~ I want you to digest me." as RNG and my patience permitted. The dialogue chains seem to work all the way through, I compared to what is shown in xEDIT, but nothing happens in the end.

This may be an issue with your particular game. Did you start a new game after updating Devourment?

Having issues with crashing as soon as the main menu loads, I looked through some posts but the only one I saw with CTD at main menu was about dll loader and I do not have it installed to my knowledge. I do not get a crash log it just closes as soon as the menu fully loads. I triple checked to make sure I had the requirements but maybe I am still missing one. Any ideas?

 

Were there any dependencies of Devourment that you installed at the same time? SSE Engine Fixes and NetscriptFramework can both cause ctds if they're not installed correctly or if an older DLL preloader extension is still installed.

It would be good if anyone else could report if this is a reproducable problem, perhaps we can find a quick solution

Holy shit I knew it would be something simple that I missed. NetscriptFramework was a version behind. Jesus lol, thank you.

had this happening to me as well, had ONLY eaten a modded dragon prior to updating to 05-06 and instantly couldnt eat anyone or anything else afterwards.   i had to go back to using the 05-04 version BUT i copied the gentle gas ESP over to the 05-04 install in MO2 and got the gentle gas to work out of the box on the older version without any issues (just the gentlegas.esp).   Hope that helps you at least a little.

Narrowing Down the Problem:

  Reveal hidden contents

Combat vore with struggle meter both as prey and pred works fine. Using retrovore works and starts struggle mechanic. Dialogue to initiate endo as prey or pred works. Even dialogue to initiate sexlab works. Spells, Perks, and Perk menus are working.

 

Dialogue to start digesting as prey or to digest prey when pred does not change to lethal or begin digestion/struggle. Dialogue to release prey or to be released does nothing. Tested on barebones and clean install, and tested with dialogue addons and devourment approach.

 

Addon's are the same story when I install them. The dialogue itself works fine, the approach feature and ingestion works, but not changing to lethal digestion/starting struggle, or release.

 

Dialogue I have tested:

I went through all the dialogue chains starting from when your prey automatially suggests being digested, i.e. "Really? Well, I'm not about to pass up a free meal." I also went through as many of the dialogue chains starting from "Please let me out.", "I want you to digest me.", "Let me out!", and "Slipping down your throat ~so good~ I want you to digest me." as RNG and my patience permitted. The dialogue chains seem to work all the way through, I compared to what is shown in xEDIT, but nothing happens in the end.

For temporary solution, dialogues work with 2021.04.05 version. Using this version will also allow all dialogue from the plugins to work (gherks reformation etc.) with one exception, blood of the pred seems to be having problems, and causes issues for me even on the older release of devourment refractor.
