I'm sure I did something wrong but I have no idea what I did wrong, I tried to follow DarkStarSword tutorial and that's all I got.

I'm even more confused with doing the .ini file with it.

So yeah, even the weight is transferred and all, it won't work properly.

any idea though? ANYONE WHO GOOD WITH MOD OR SOMETHING PLS HELP!

That looks like an issue with stride value too. Let's say you want to replace mesh A with B. From the dump files you can extract the stride value used by A as X, and B as Y. When doing the replacement with ini tweak, according to my experience, using value X will get you worse result (like the one in your screenshot) than using Y (like in my screenshot). However, both values are glitchy. I've also tried some other random values and can't find one that works. Don't know where to look next.

I was trying to use a full body mesh with a full skeleton (eg. Revenant) as a base for exporting merged parts, but it doesn't seem to work that way.

For people who don't already know, if you're re-weighting a mesh, don't forget to clean to 0.01 and limit weights to 4.

 

If this game is like some others, then the full skeleton may be included in the main torso mesh. I haven't confirmed this yet. If true, that means you can probably attach other body parts to the main torso, as long as you re-weight to existing bones. Note that clothing physics parts seem to be separate hashes, so I'm guessing those use separate physics skeletons (ie. aren't included in the main body skeleton).

 

Another problem I've run into and can't seem to solve: if I try to replace the texture for one part of the nude body, the game applies the modified texture to all other parts (ie. not only the specified hash). Depending on the camera angle, different parts of the nude body flicker between the modified and non-modified texture. I tried to resolve this by simultaneously replacing mesh of only parts I wanted to use modified texture, but result was the same.

 

In my case, I was replacing the Ferryman boots with mesh of Lone Wolf boots. The stride values for them are 44 and 48 iirc (extracted from dump txt, never checked the exported fmt though because I suppose it should be the same). However, neither 44 nor 48 worked for the replacement, while 48 looked slightly better. And the weighting should be correct since they are both directly from the vanilla game. So I wonder what's wrong during the process.

What do u mean by swapping the red and green channels? Set red to 0 and green 100 and vice versa?

put the data from the red channel into the green channel, and the data from the green channel into the red channel

Looking at the pants, I'd say it's probably impossible. The issue being that there is most likely nothing underneath the pants, so if you remove them, it will just be empty space and no legs. I'll check later.

Alrighty then, I have another suggestion. I thought this up back in PS4 era but just remembered it. How about doing this one. The Lone Wolf has a bare body underneath the shorts, and a flowy fur coat. Maybe you could remove the furry bits and the shorts, and texture the top and flowy coat white and we have us a flowy samurai robe set. If this doesn't work I dunno what will. 

 

PS still on this because I REALLY want this fashion. Probably my last request before I give up completely.

 

PSS Could we make sure it works for multiplayer so that others can see? I know it's client based but I mean my friends and I download some of the same mods for when we go multiplayer, and our own character has the mod working but not the person we're cooperating with. (would like them to admire the fashion mid-game)

Is this okay? I tried making it all white but the pants has some dark spots on it and I can't seem to fix it. It's probably because that's where the armor used to be at.

Hey man, it looks pretty good. I could see this fashion working for some particular characters of mine, so it came out better than I thought. Perhaps if the pants is too bothersome you could leave that default. To add a bit more of a color scheme. Just a suggestion. If you have to make it all white then no problemo. Appreciate your effort.

Very nice! Can i ask two question? For Suzuka, what is the top you use? I am still early in game (third region) so probably can't find yet, i want to be sure not miss it later

edit: i am stupid, suzuka is of course name of armor i just realize, i thought first it was name of a pattern or color or something xD

 

And probably, the belt can not be removed? It seem to be little to wide

 The uh, belt can be removed but it leave a blank space if I want to remove it altogether.

as for the smaller waist, I haven't reach that level of modding yet BUT! since someone already made Ferryman Hakama waist smaller, I'll try to check 'em and analyze how they do it.

Any idea where to find the Ryu Hayabusa blue costume or Nyotengu model? If someone can give me the files I'll be so grateful u.u (I only need g1t and gt1m or the vb/ib and textures thxxx <3)

Would it be possible to swap out moves with others? For example, swapping one of the many L1+Triangle parries on 1kat to the Flying Swallow that Ren Hayabusa does?

I saw many files contain the command 'allow_duplicate_hash = overrule'. how it works?

 

and is there anyway to edit material directly? I have self- luminous problem in my mod

The Blue Hayabusa costume is a transformation you can get in the boons tab in the shrine menu from the update in celebration of the Ninja Gaiden Collection. You can get the Nyotengu transformation after you defeat her in The First Samurai chapter. You have to buy her transformation from the Hidden Teahouse for about 10,000 glory I believe.

The allow_duplicate_hash basically just as the name suggested, is to let the mod enabler know how to act if there's any duplication hash in the mods.

like sometimes you downloaded a mod- let say an armor mod, the mod is pretty much only removed like for example- a scarf of the mod, and then you downloaded another mod that modified the texture.

 

Both of those mod using the same pixel buffer hash because they both edited the same armor but only differentiate certain part of the armor, in that case allow_duplicate_hash will be needed for .ini file so the mod wouldn't conflicting each other. So Overrule or True is self explanatory from there.

 

Sadly though, from what I understand we cannot edit the model right away yet, only from shaders, but again I'm just a passerby so I don't know jackshit about modding LOL.

It's a really perfect mod. I'm using it really well. Could you possibly replace the panties with basic underwear? If so, it would be perfect for me.
