I'm running into an issue with bodyslide. As long as this mod is enabled, bodyslide doesn't launch correctly. Bodyslide seems to launch (it shows up in my taskbar and in Task Manager) but the program doesn't show up. Any ideas what the issue could be?

Well I'm not sure exactly why this was happening but by using the standard and not the x64 version I am able to get around this problem.

It is only a problem when this mod is enabled?  So as soon as you unselect the mod Bodyslide works fine?  That's strange, I don't know what would cause that.

check this out. Some people reported the same problem and here is the solution:

Please give feedback if the solution works for you or not, because i modified the mod file by removing the "offender" files a couple of weeks ago and you are the first with this problem, since i made the changes.

I hope this helps

Thanks for getting back to me. I actually somehow solved the issue last night. I did a reinstall of both your mod and Bodyslide, ran the sets through bodyslide (not x64) and then I was able to use the x64 version. I'm not sure exactly what fixed it but perhaps there were some files I had leftover from other mods or running the not x64 version cleaned some file up?

The one other piece of info is that the bodyslide log was showing one error:

[16:56:38][1]    BodySlideApp.cpp(372): Failed to load set 'CT77 Vampire Royal' from slider set list (1).

I don't think your mod has any vampire armor in it but I thought I had disabled all my other mods for testing so I'm not sure where that was coming from (or if that even helps).

Thanks again.

No my mod does not have it, but my installation does. The two files that needed to be deleted, are the "status quo" of the Bodyslide. It is a log of what was loaded, when you closed the program last time. So it appear, that i had loaded not only the TAWOBAE but the CT77 mod too. Because you do not have this mod (probbably do not have), the loading routine is stuck at looking for it. This is at least, what i think is happening.

May be, because of the switch to the notx64 version, the program defaults to a different file and is able to load.

Can you look into your TAWOBAE\CalienteTools\Bodyslide folder and see, if the files "Bodyslide.xml" and OutfitStudio.xml are present? If so, delete/move them them and try to restart the program.

cheers

So I've already made changes to my install that would overwrite these files so grabbing them from my current install wouldn't be helpful. However I still have the zip file I downloaded that was causing the issue. It contains both BodySlide.xml and OutfitStudio.xml files that have references to the CT77 mod. I'll upload the files that came with my download here just for reference. Let me know if any other info would be helpful.

While holding down the "Shift" button, right click on the Bodyslide icon on the Taskbar.  Then select the option to "Maximize".  Then you will see the Bodyslide window on the screen.  This happens only when I installed this mod.  Strange...

Do you have this issue every time, you start BS, or was it only the first time? After closing BS and reopening it again, does it work as usual or is it still the same issue?

Do you have the files OutfitStudio.xml and Bodyslide.xml in the TAWOBAE\CalienteTools\Bodyslide folder? If so delete/move them somewhere else, and restart BS again. Any effect?

After maximizing the window only once, the problem went away.  I do have those two xml files that you mentioned.  I use MO2.  Next time when I have the same problem, I will try your method.

Do you use two monitors?

A possible explanation for the issue:

I use two monitors, the Bodyslide tool and the preview are usually on the secundary monitor, the outfit studio on the primary monitor. It is possible, that in my original .xml files is the positions of the bodyslide window and the preview window are outside of the primary monitor (because you have only the primary monitor). After maximizing the windows and exiting the program, new coordinates are saved and used, when starting the software again.

If anyone can test/confirm this theory, it would be great!

I made a modified version of the 1.4 TAWOBAE esp file that deleted the records that had anything to do with the books, chests, banners, and Biki. All of the other records and original assets are retained. You should still be able to find actors with bikini armors in the leveled list and craft them. No promises that this isn't buggy or messy. I really like this mod but wanted to play without any changes made to Tamriel and figured I'm not the only one. Sorry if someone made something just like that and I scrolled right past it.

Do you think you could make a version where the armors are removed from the leveled list so they're only craftable or obtainable by the player or something like that?

I have two monitors.  But it didn't show up on any of my monitors.  just minimized on the taskbar.  And I've been using MO2 for a long time.  If I remove this mod, the window shows up right away.  So, I thought that maybe the mod is so big that it's taking a long time to load.  So I left it for an hour... but no luck there.  That's when I tried the "shift" + "maximize" option.  Maybe this is MO2 related issue.

Hi monty, thanks for making this. I ended up making a FOMod installer for my own use. It's simple - only installs what you want it to install, doesn't check for dependencies. From some limited testing, it seems to work fine.

In case you're interested, see attached files. The archive structure is the same as your current one, except that the SLS keyword 7z archive is now extracted to its own folder in /Patches, and the two attached FOMod files go into the /FOMod folder.

The mod has the files 'BodySlide.xml', 'OutfitStudio.xml', and 'RefTemplates.xml' in the folder '\CalienteTools\BodySlide'.  You can overwrite with Outfit Studio's files and fix your issue. Also download latest Bodyslide & outfit studio because Ousnius has fixed a lot of bugs in new versions.

The program state for bodyslide and the preview window are stored in 'bodyslide.xml' and it has weird values, probably a very high resolution monitor or a desktop merge of two monitors.  Anyway, the coordinate show y=0 and that probably will shrink the window to icon size and for some it may position the window outside of view.

Huh. I didn't try this but I did try using the keyboard shortcuts (Win + arrow key) to maximize/minimize/screen snap and those weren't working for me while I was having the issue.

BakaFactory's SLAR for Special Edition seems impossible to download because of their choice to host it on Google Drive.  Does anyone have a copy I can download?

Also the BakaFactory Keywords ESP says that it requires BaboDialogue.  Is this actually the case or?

I do not know, if you still need it, but i just found out, that baka made it available here:

So with this esp the armors are still in the levelled list? Or are they only craftable? Because it would be nice to have a version that's only craftable.

This one only have craft recipes without bikini books dependencies. You still need the blacksmith perks for many assets in the collection.  Similar to normal armors.

All world edits, level list, outfits, containers edits, and NPC are removed.   Baka keyword patches that are specific for TAWOBAE and only do Keywords are compatible.

Do this scratch your itch? ?

Is an ESP replacement and requires original mod.

During testing, it did not generate orphans record to saves.

TAWOBA-Extended Only Craftable.zip

Note: I create this only for me and did not planned to post.  I'm trying to create a personal and experimental version with DD effects, and removing extra assets helps with testing.  I do not think I will post the DD effect one, as it could break games.

Out of curiosity is there a way to disable the himbo/sos outits be distrubuted to other males? In my personal preference I'd prefer not to see naked dudes. If there not tho, that fine I'll just deal with it.

Just a suggestion.

Maybe Sunjeong's TAWOBA Remastered 6.1 will be more fitting for you.  Male meshes reference normal male armor and has DD slot assignment compatibility like TAWOBA Extended.  Remaster uses slot32(body) for bikini tops, while Extended uses slot56(DD chastity bras).

The post I quoted in my post above yours has an esp that makes them only available by crafting. If that's close enough to what you're looking for.

No, it is not normal. The outfits should inflate according your preset, you build the bodyslides with.

Check the build bodyslides meshes. Open the one outfit with the name *_0.nef and the corresponding *_1.nif and see, if they are according your preset.

if it still does not work, i will need nor informations, what you are trying to do.

i hope it helps
