It shouldn't be that simple. The guard has several dialog options, but what usually works is about applying for a job. You can only talk to him once and if you fail it you can't try again, i think it was... Some lines only show up for you if you have enough skill level. So being a level 1 gives you the least options. I only tried the bard route when it comes to professions.

 

This is why it helps to visit Markath inn first, talking to innkeeper about strange rumors or something (not the vanilla "rumors" dialog). Because you now know about facility that will be an additional option for the guard and he'll let you in if you follow that topic line.

This really should be added to the main page, to avoid confusion like this.

 

You don't have to necessarily talk to the innkeeper first and the way to start is on the mod page.

 

We are experiencing problems too with the guard dialogue not starting unless reloading first, but this method always worked during our tests.

 

Could you describe what happens, please?

Have you tried to talk to him a second time?

I talked to him, and inquired about the job. He said he'd make the signal to let me in after inquiring, but that's it. He just sits and does nothing afterwards.

Ah OK, this is a different situation than I thought based on your earlier report. Sorry I wasted your time with the SEQ file. Sounds like the script is goofing up for some reason. Just to rule out the obvious, do you have all 359 compiled scripts (.pex files) in your /scripts/ folder for The Facility?

Strangely, no. I have no scripts folder or .pex files whatsoever in the MO2 folder, nor in the normal data/scripts part either.
 

I just copied them from the .7z file and put them in the appropriate folder (MO2 "The Facilty" folder, to be precise.)

 

Hopefully this will fix the problem, cause it is bizarre.

This is not how to install mods in MO2 though. You don't need to manually open 7z/zip/rar files yourself. Put all archives in the MO2\Downloads\ and then they will appear in the Downloads tab. From there install them. Install also the 0.74 to 0.75 delta patch as a separate mod and put it after 0.74 so it overwrites the esp and adds scripts, no need to merge or anything.

After that ofc FNIS and Bodyslide again from MO2.

 

Besides the mod comes with a FOMOD installer and separate files for UNP and CBBE. One shouldn't have both at the same time.

Yeah, but every time I do things, I fuck them up, so I have to improvise here and there.

When I do, it works.

 

MO2 is much harder to utilize, and as I said, I keep screwing things up here and there, and have to either redownload mods, or extract missing files/folders from already downloaded .7z files.

 

Anyway, I managed to get it working.
But there's one thing I suggest, and that is the bodyslide file names.

Since they're all over the bloody place, I suggest renaming them to something like "RR - [insert name here] - UUNP/CBBE", so that way it's easier to batch build, especially if you don't want to have to rebuild meshes from other mods, especially those that have had their slots changed.

Huh. I only use the Outfit Filter part of it.

 

I'll keep it in mind for next time.

 

Anyway, I finished the mod, and it does look good. Pity you can't go any further then after signing the contracts, cause I was hoping to experience more.

I did multiple playthroughs of it, and they all (save the inquisitor part) go the same maintenance/oozing route.
And one time I managed to piss Mina off. (Oops!)

It's not like this mod is complete. Have patience, I'm hopeful that those issues will be ironed out eventually. Heck, I barely even saw any clipping issues aside from the hands of the ooze catsuit and the legs on the golden transparent catsuit.

No, I don't need to do anything.

 

Making a CBBE version is just a huge favor I'm doing to any CBBE user who wishes to try out the mod, as I could have made an UUNP version only.

Besides, I genuinely think that UUNP has a better shape than CBBE, as I worked on both, so I'm free to suggest it to anyone I want.
In any case, if you care so much about the CBBE version, then learn how to convert outfits and do it yourself, as both me and @Prime66 learned on our own how to mod Skyrim.

 

We'd like to remind everyone that this mod is just our hobby: we don't get paid and no one is forcing us to do anything. We just enjoy making it.

Furthermore, we are both LE and UUNP users, but we thought it would have been nice to let the mod be enjoyed by CBBE and SE users as well. ?

LE/UUNP - I'm having an issue with the fall after moving to the platform once I finish restarting the power.  I get moved over to the platform (presumably as intended) but when the floor "flips" up, I end up in/above the ceiling rather than falling into the cage below.  I've tried TCL'ing into the cage below, but i get a lot of glitching there and then im just stuck next to a door on the conveyor

Mmmh... I'm not sure what your issue might be, but if it worked before, then something might have messed up during your last installation.

Try following these steps and then start a new game, please.
