Getting lost in the comments here, How do I make the body latex layer nude? It's cool and all but I'd rather see my character's body.

With just the mod itself, you don't. The latex bodysuit is built into the worn power armor mesh. I think someone recently posted an attempted patch that sounded like it might work, but I haven't had time to try it myself.

Yea, i was looking to do it myself but i'm not THAT well versed in editing outfits so i'm still fiddling with it, wanted to see if someone else already did it

This appears to be the most recent attempt. I think the reason I hadn't tried it yet is that I'm using the Fusion Girl conversion of the power armor, and suspect the altered version with the nude body would need to be re-converted to FG.

Anyone managed to get nude version working with FG?

I think the nude variant attached to earlier comments was CBBE-only so the FG conversion would need to be redone with that. I haven't tried (still just using the "rubber suit" FG version).

Not really up on this sort of thing, but could the textures not be changed in the rubber suit version to in effect be transparent?

There's no separately textured "body" inside the rubber suit, so making it transparent would just make the character see-through.

does the power armor only work for the player character? it worked fine for me (my player character is a vanilla male) even if i didn't have the power suit on. but if i try to put a companion in it (cait for example, with bodyslide features), it just reverts back to a regular power armor frame and you can see the angeli power armor pieces clipped through it, even if i have the power suit on the companion. I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if it isn't meant for companions to be able to use.

I can for the life of me not get a normal cbbe body or normal body colors in the armor. Is there anyway to get this to work?

I have read back and forth through this thread, and at the risk of making myself sound stupid, it is so entirely non-linear I have no clue which files I need to DL to get to the end result of running bodyslide with an FG body preset to get an FG version of this armor (I am laughing at this language add-on I added to my browser suggesting "an" instead of "a" preceding "FG" because "an" is used instead of "a" for words which have an initial vowel like sound... last I checked "F" is a consonant.) But, can anyone clearly point me to which files, other than the original CBBE suit being converted, are the FG bodyslides to make the FG version available in a game?

You should simply be able to install these two mods:

  • AngeliPowerArmor_EN_1.10.zip
  • AngeliPowerArmor BodySlide Files(FG).zip

After that, select the "FG =============== ANGELI" group in BodySlide and batch build it (with morphs enabled if you want in-game LooksMenu body shape sliders to still be reflected visually while you're in the armor).

i was able to "remake" it but just like last time, there are a few problems with the edited meshes.

On the compressed file are all the files from the mod, for the base body i used CBBE and bodyslide to change it's shape.

A few screenshots here. As you can see the texture appears strange on some parts.

Is there any way to convert this to FG, or any guides on converting a project like this to FG?

You might try making the same edits to the original FG conversion instead:

Are there any extant guides on how to manipulate meshes or is this a much bigger project than I envisioned

I've gotten it working surprisingly enough, just need to figure out how to port over the body settings from bodyslide->nifscope

An alternative might be to edit it with Outfit Studio, since that should preserve the sliders.
