It doesn't do that to me, but have you tried transferring a fusion core in the suit's inventory before activating it? Does that work around your problem at all?

Came back hoping there was some update or progress on this.
I remember ages ago trying to replace the latex suit with TheKite's Vault-Tec Slave Suit for the power armor with very limited success. (Either meshes didn't line up and there was horrible clipping because the body is just simply a different shape, the mesh explodes because of some skeleton/animation issue, or the game just crashes)

 

If anyone's had any luck modifying this, I'd love some feedback/instructions

 

I don't need this to be dynamic or anything fancy. Simply changing the mesh that's there to a different mesh is all I wanted to do, but it just didn't want to work

This thingy gave a darker appearance.

The textures edits was directly on the body mesh, i removed the wet bgms and body bgms. For the body i copied the same one used on the base nude body.

After doing that i edited the UV map to make it look similar to the original body.

 

Sometimes you see small darkers parts through the skin depending on the light source. Thats why it's not a perfect edit.

I removed the helmet completely but that was my personal modification.

 

Still trying to make it smoother.

i deleted all files when i uninstalled fallout 4. I will eventually get back on modding it.

Not with the Power Armour - that only works with the "simple" suit.

So, I just installed this mod (Absolutely gorgeous work, by the way), and after running around in it for a moment and trying to modify it in the power armor station, I can no longer access my pipboy. It opens, but is completely invisible, aside from the hotkeys at the bottom of the screen. I can only access my inventory in the suit

i was able to "remake" it but just like last time, there are a few problems with the edited meshes.

On the compressed file are all the files from the mod, for the base body i used CBBE and bodyslide to change it's shape.

 

A few screenshots here. As you can see the texture appears strange on some parts.

Anyone ever find a fix for the right arm clipping over the screen in first person when using weapons? I have to completely remove the right arm because otherwise it obstructs 75% of the screen when using most weapons.

lost access to the pipboy permanently after entering the frame. will investigate and post back if i figure it out but would love some advice.
 

by the time i had completely read this thread and posted that, tabbed back into the game, and it worked again. sometimes it just works.

Hi, i need help with the heels, everytime i see it it infuriates me that the heels are practically swallowed by the ground, i can only see my ankles and i tried everything with F4HHS, not a single thing worked, i even tried adjusting the height, but it didnt work.

I second a request for a fix for this specific issue, which I have found to be the only significant bug with the mod so far.

Can you elaborate, or provide a screenshot showing what you mean? The frame isn't supposed to be invisible, it just has some large openings.

Unfortunately I can't take a screenshot right now because I'm not at home.
What I mean is the vanilla power armor frame to which the Angeli's Explorer PA parts are attached, this remains visible and clips through the PA armor parts.
The wide opening you are talking about is therefore not present.

I see, so for whatever reason it's using a vanilla power armor frame mesh instead of the frame that's included in this mod. Any chance you have some other mod overriding the NIF file for the frame, or a record conflict between plugins (checking your full load order pulled up in FO4Edit or zEdit against the plugin from this mod)?

I made the picture with Angeli's Explorer Suit and Power Armor at the end of my load order, so the mod should actually overwrite everything else.
MO2 doesn't show me that nif files of other mods would be overwritten. And if I load my whole load order in FO4Edit and select the Power Armor frame in the plugin of the mod under Armor, I don't see any conflict with another mod.

 

The only thing I have installed is a texture replacer for the PA frames. But these are only dds files, they can't be responsible for this.
