another mini-update that adapts to some changes in SCR: the global vars that now control SCR's debug toggle, as well as switching to the 50% damaged vault suits rather than the 25% ones in re-worked versions of 2 scripts

This mod is a reason to play new vegas again.

Path 4 and its special effects are great but i seem to be stuck:

 

I got the note (the one aboud less patronizing rape victim help) from mitch and did
the roleplay date (when i could stop laughing    ). After that my toon gets the headaches from time to time and Mitch gives me 10 pills against them.
(I can ask him again for pills when the next headache starts)

 

Lust and arousal are still stuck at 0 and 3 from the beginning of the path and no new conversations topics or sleep fx appear.

Edit: Dont´t know what changed it but it works now. Lust grows again and the story could progress.

What i changed was:

-activating SexoutRapistand SexoutRapeGame to test if they work with new ng and scr(unlikely that it was that)

-updating AnotherKickIntheHead, having a dream where my toon was impregnated by spore plants(stayed pregnant after Dream ended )

-andkilling Easy Pete (he started the storyline and Doc said that he took care of him.

Got a short question about the nvec patch cause i´m aboud to install nvec. Does the patch only work for the nvec complete (Version 3.4DD) 

or also for the nvec complete + nvce ( the character enhancement one)? Don´t know if the needed master file comes with the later one.

Or is the patch outdated and not needed anymore to play sofo?

 

 

Edit: Ok tried both. The second option of nvec installer installs a diferent esm file but the first one (without character overhaul) works with the patch.

Installed it mostly for the enhancements part. Had some of its contents in different mods(which plugin utility shouldn´t merge) and a shorter loadorder is good for my stressed pc.

The second installer option might work if it´s master file is changed.

Depends on what nvec looks like these days; I haven't kept track. Last I checked, it added a shitload of things it didn't need to. Including a duplicate chem set exactly where I placed Doc M's computer, hence the patch. Honestly, if all you want is an error fixer, you're probably better off with YUP.

You can make your own. I'm not going to go over all those tracks looking for something I like myself. What I like in terms of music for this mod is in the doc's sounds file, and most of that is in that in-between state a lot of old music is in, where it really should be public domain by now except that US copyright law makes that virtually impossible for music. Even the tracks I downloaded for my own use from archive.org that supposedly are PD, sometimes really aren't and have been removed from there as soon as someone *claimed* copyright. I can't subject the mod to this uncertainty or the site to a DMCA complaint.

How about if one of the other members went through the "Free Music Archive" (which provides free music downloads under Creative Commons and other licenses).

 

Would it be okay for them to provide the pack here if the licenses meet the necessary requirements?

 

To kind of provide an demonstration of how it is done or as a drop in for if they just want to get started on the quest but with music.

i´m in the rape trauma, in the stage 10, i already can go out from the house and my character is drink alcohol everytime, but i´m stuck there, what i need to do to advance to stage 20?

Rape trauma:

 

 

After the previos stages of rape trauma pass you can go outside and talk with Doc Mitchel about it. He should go outside with you after that(skript can sometimes not fire,save before talking to doc) and progress to the next stage. Allready had the conversations about booze and dressed like a whore/naked? You don´t have to buy alc. There are bottles of wine and beer in the fridge.

had  a conversation about booze and a conversation outside which led to stage 10 - rape trauma processed. that's it, tried everything, no new dialogue lines for at least two weeks. just faded colours outdoors and negative effects stuck

When you go outside at stage 10 the brighness should be raised extremely. If you go back into docs house and speak to him he should have a topic about you going outside after which he starts following you. Go outside with him. He should approach you right outside his door. After that the grafic efects should get back to normal and the next stage 20 /recovering should start. Try sleeping in the bed (sometimes new topics appear after that) and talking to doc while he sits or stands. If nothing helps load an older savegame perhaps a skript didn´t fire.

 

Only having faded colors outside and not the extrem brighness looks like the first stage effects before entering (and being locked inside ) docs house.

 

edit: Oh i remember now. Had a similar problem once in the rape trauma path. I started the path with being raped by Easy Pete and told doc so. He told me he removed Pete but later(stage 10 too) i found Easy Pete to be alive. Killing him (before talking to Doc about going outside) and talking to doc reenabled the new topic about going outside.
