There are many positions in this mod; you need to hold Y for a bit, not just tap it lightly and sometimes repeatedly because the switch is not always instant, depends allot on your system. Check your keyboard sensitivity, make sure that key is not assigned already to something else that may interfere. Could be any number of things but it sounds like definitely a problem at your end.

He has a non-English keyboard with different keymaps, his "y" key seems to be "Z" on an english keyboard. He's going to have to find a table of what key matches what so he will know which are the keys he needs to use. Hopefully they won't conflict with the game control keys for his version of the game.

^Ensure you have installed SKSE and FNIS and run "Generate FNIS for Users" before using that mod.

You must also load the game using the SKSE loader program instead of through Steam, otherwise the SKSE doesn't work.

Use MO, people.  ;) Life will only get much easier, and you'll learn a lot about your installation paths and such. Yay MO!! Plus, you won't have to run FNIS as an administrator anymore. Saves a tiny bit of time!

MO is the ONLY properly done Mod Manager, once you understand what it does for you all the others look like lame crap in comparison.

I always start FNIS before playing ( Im using SKSE also). I first had the problem with the characters freezing, but now that I got rid of that, the animations arent working. If I cast a spell on another person, they just strip off their clothes and the sounds are playing. Can anybody help me? Whats important to make the animations work?

Is FNIS running cleanly or does it throw up an error or warning?

I don't see SexAddict listed in the mods it found animations for. Hold on, I smell the smell of Noxious Mod Mangler Nexus Mod Manager (NMM). Turn off the abominable option it has to not extract README files and reinstall the mod. Then when you run the FNIS User Generator program you should see SexAddict in the list of mods it finds animations for.

Better yet, dump NMM and switch to Mod Organizer (MO) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1334//? -- This is the gold standard by which all other mod managers are judged and they all fall way short of what it provides.

How do I turn it off, there are no options in my FNIS window.

It's not an option in FNIS, it's an option in the Nexus Mod Manager. I don't have or use that software any more so I can't tell you exactly how to find it but it's among the other options for that software you can set.

Specifically, the option is supposed to not include any README files but the idiot at Nexus who implemented the idea decided that meant exclude *.TXT files regardless of where they were in the data structure and since FNIS requires the use of a TXT file to declare the animations using that option (which Nexus unhelpfully decided would default to on) leaves out a critical file when you use NMM to install a mod with animations.

They not only implemented it, they heard about the problems it caused then said they'd fix it and yet never did so. We probably heard from a responsible person when they said they'd fix it but they got overridden by some pointy haired boss type.

Still got the same problem with the animations, how can MO hlep me with this I dont even really know how to use it ( i think its not that difficult), but I also dont know how to use FNIS, Im totally lost now...

I have a simple question. The mod itself is working but the characters don't move, and I cannot get the sexaddicts file to appear when I update FNIS. Where do I have to put the file in order for it to recognise it?  (I installed the file manually)

Copy everything (folders and all) from the root of the zip file to the data directory. That will place all of the files where they should be placed.

He wants to prolong the act, but can't change named scripts, because has codepage or some similar problem. Or simply opens compiled scripts instead of sources :P
