It just seemed there would be more variation in female PCs. But I could be wrong. What would you track for a male PC? As for the Markarth quest, I thought about making it work for a male PC as well. Obviously, no reason a male PC can't be an exhibitionist. As far as gay/straight preferences, I'm pretty sure every sex scenario in the quest can be avoided by the PC except for one PC/female encounter, so no real issues there, though the Eorlund encounter would be pretty gay if you didn't have 1500 gold. Also, the Jarl sending a male PC to fetch the Captain would also be a bit odd, given that he is shown to be interested in females throughout the quest (and has sex options with the PC). Again, it could work, but then would he be attracted to the male PC as well? Fine by me, but I don't know what other's gay/straight preferences would be. Also, I struggled with the second part of the quest, where the PC is sort of acting as a mentor for Lilly. It just seemed that would come off differently if it was a male trying to persuade a young woman to get naked, as opposed to another female. Not that it couldn't work, but the conversations would have to be different for sure. Also, the encounter with Rolf in Dragon Bridge would play different if the PC was male. I can't imagine Rolf being as aggressive as he currently is with two naked girls. So, I could alter the quest for a male PC if there was interest, but it would be a bit different in character, and I'm not entirely sure how to resolve the whole gay/straight preference thing. Meh, its more of a personal patch for me to use. Just having issues finding the "trigger" and changing it so it can be used for all genders. The rest I can puzzle out myself kinda. I'm lazy so I usually just mess with NPCs dialogue to make it neutral.
max99max Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 For some reasons I have no quest markers at all (AE 1.6.353, update to new version mid game). I was still able to follow the quest until the search for the entrance of the temple of Dibella in Solitude. But now I am lost. Any hints where to find the temple?

There should have been quest markers for the "secluded place off the road" and also one in the Solitude market square where you start the search for the temple, but the quest actually deliberately doesn't have a marker for the temple entrance because searching Solitude for the temple entrance was intended to be a key part of the quest. The entrance is in plain sight, and you'll get a visible log update when you find it, but I do realize Solitude is a reasonably sized city. If you want a little hint or a bigger hint, check out the spoilers below: Little Hint: Spoiler The poem directs you to search "with the sun above". This suggests the entrance is located in an exterior location. Bigger Hint: Spoiler Like the temple in Markarth, the temple in Solitude was likely built in the wealthier part of the city. 1

I've beeen in Markarth for 3 days now but I still haven't received anything There is no required time element. Once your Exhibitionism fame in Markarth hits 80+, an NPC comment will trigger the courier quest which delivers the warning letter. This means you have to walk past some NPCs to get the comment and start the courier quest. Also, the courier quest makes use of the vanilla courier system, and the vanilla courier system only makes the courier come when you change cells. And, under the vanilla courier system, the courier only comes when you are outside. So, this means if you triggered the courier quest outside, the courier won't actually show up until you go inside and back outside, because now you have changed cells and are outside. Then, once you have the warning letter and your Exhibitionism fame hits 90+, a guard should summon you to the Jarl. But, this is an NPC (guard) comment, so you have to walk past some guards to get the comment and start the quest. Also, if you're running this version on an existing save where your PC has already received a warning and Exhibitionism bounty in Markarth, then I don't think the quest will start naturally. In that case (or as a general shortcut), the following console command can be used to start the Markarth Jarl quest: setstage SLSF_Comments_JarlLetterMA 30 Also, since two quest markers are not showing up for some people, here are the locations of the missing quest markers: Quest Marker (Secluded Place Off Road to Solitude) Spoiler Quest Marker (Solitude Market Square) Spoiler Edited May 10, 2023 by Gristle 2
zatrapa Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 (edited) Hello, I'm also having the quest marker issue, just didn't bother me too much until it did. Since the start of the quest I've had no markers and the movetoqt command does nothing. Anyone figure out what could possibly be breaking the markers? another mod not playing nice maybe (I'll attach my load order just in case)? Im currently stuck looking for the Lover's Stone, if anyone knows where to find it I would appreciate it. (id is "DoomstoneReach01" just in case) I'm now looking for the entrance of the temple of Dibella in Solitude I'll add my own hint if you don't mind Spoiler The place is indeed quite the wealthy place. Look for Blue's Clues Also can't go without mentioning, despite the issues I really like this new update and the overall idea of the mod, got me hooked again. Thanks! loadorder.txt Edited May 14, 2023 by zatrapa update on quest progress

Rhapsody81 Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Not sure if this has been brought up or not yet, but could you perhaps add in a mod-option / MCM option to disable the 'attacks' portion of the mod? Im 'thinking' this may have caused a bit of a conflict/glitch with SS++ where while at the auction house with a high-fame ( thanks devious devices.... >_> ) mid-auction, the 'attack' portion of Comments got triggered and caused a bit of a mess XD Im 'thinking' this is the case, as im currently in the middle of starting a new save-game (as i only recently reinstalled Skyrim) and am goign through all of the MCM menues for the few mods i have installed to see what could have caused that... so-far, its either Deviously Cursed Loot, or yours.. Though Deviously Cursed Loot has an option to turn off the 'attacks' in its MCM *note* This is NOT a complaint (i know text cant convey things fully), simply something i noticed that happened and simply trying to sort out what happened, and noticed there was no option in SLSF Comments to turn off purely the attacks themselves.

Yes. I can add a switch to turn off all "forced" events in the next version. Currently, you can turn off all "events" by switching off all of the fame event switches, but that will also disable the more friendly event "offers". So, the only way right now to disable the forced events but leave the friendly offer events on is to use the MCM option to disable forced events when a weapon is equipped, and then equip a weapon. But, I realize this only works if you have a weapon equipped, which is not going to work so well if you are getting stripped in an auction house, etc. Also, I finally figured out how to call SexLab functions to get live info on Sexlab animation events. It will require a script, but it will be pretty short and simple, and it will fire only at the beginning of a SL event involving the PC, so it shouldn't have a noticeable impact on performance. So, the next version should have better comments on the PC's live Sexlab activity. The mod will finally be able to tell the difference between, for example, a solo masturbation event and a gangbang. I can also now read actor genders, animation tags, victim tags and creature involvement (may even be able to pull creature race names). The tags themselves may not lead to many comments, at least in the next version, but hopefully I can figure out how to apply basic tags like Vaginal, Oral and Anal, though using even those properly requires knowing a matrix of actor positions and genders (and some hope that the animation is tagged correctly). 2

But when I then go to make the hair patch, and try to generate facegen data for that, nothing gets generated. Then, when I install the hair patch, blackface. Any idea what's going on with the hair patch mod? I could get rid of the hair patch, but then I'd have to make KS Hair a dependency for the base mod. Alternatively, the KS Hair author allows copying the hairs directly into another mod. However, I tried that and couldn't get it to work. My NPC creation skills are not that good.

Could try taking a look at the "Face discoloration fix SE" mod that i think is on Nexus? See what their doing to force the update to the face textures? Granted, its something that works in Racemenu, but could possibly be adapted to help with the Hairstyle changes (as changing the hair may also change something that triggers the same issue that happens in Racemenu)
LordofLurking Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Thanks for the quest update for SLSF Comments! I was a little wary updating what was before just an immersion and gameplay mod but you really nailed the first Markarth quest! Very deliberate design and, from your comments here, you’re pretty considerate about the player experience. I like how there were options for the various encounters, and I hope it’s the same kind of direction we see in the future. I did have a couple of bugs in this otherwise seamless experience, so putting them here feels more like doing for the sake of posterity. 1. With Eorlund I took the payment option but that didn’t update the quest. I reloaded again and took the alternative payment scenario which did update the quest. Easy enough fix with console commands but hey, that at least was a thing. 2. Lilly got stuck leaving Dragonsbridge, before getting the quest trigger to find a secluded spot. This is probably on my end since there are NPCs there and I have a modded Dragonsreach, but good ol’ Unrelenting Force fixed that and I was able to proceed as normal. Again, just wanted to reiterate that this quest has been a blast. Great balance between erotic scenario and player experience.

But, for a lot of the fame quests it will be difficult or wouldn't make sense. For example, a fame quest triggered by Slut fame or Submissive fame could provide different options, but if the fame quest is triggered by Likes Women fame it wouldn't really make sense have options to avoid encounters with women. Or if the quest is triggered by Beastiality fame, it would be hard to design the quest to avoid animal encounters. Similar issues with Anal fame or Oral fame quests. In some ways, the Exhibitionism fame quest was the most flexible, because that fame type doesn't really indicate anything about the PC's sexual preferences. 47 minutes ago, LordofLurking said: I did have a couple of bugs in this otherwise seamless experience, so putting them here feels more like doing for the sake of posterity. 1. I'm not sure I can do anything about this particular issue. 47 minutes ago, LordofLurking said: Again, just wanted to reiterate that this quest has been a blast. Did you use the KS Hairs patch? Any blackface issues? Did you find the two stages without quest markers too difficult (finding poem, and finding temple entrance)? Any issue with the lack of choice in the one scene without choice (Lilly in secluded spot)? Any issues with rescuing Lilly - did the disguise work as intended? Do you find the amulet overpowered? Did the final temple scene have appropriate activities going on? If LE, any texture issues in the temple?

I did not get all the quest markers but the directions were easy enough, especially because you took the time to mention it in the journal. 2. This was a midgame installation on Skyrim v1.6.353, SexlLab V.1.64. This was a midgame installation, after at least eight months with your last stable release. 3. Yes, I used the KS hair patch. None of the issues you mentioned in one of the earlier pages. No black face bug either and I do not run the discoloration fix. 4. Can't answer that, I just spoke with Angeline 5. Personally, no issue because it goes with the pretty libertine theme of the quest. 6. No issues rescuing Lilly, and the disguise worked well enough for long enough. Maybe someone spotted me as I got close to her because that triggered detection? Cannot speak for the rest as I have not yet begun to search. I know the location has been hinted at through previous posts, but I can still evaluate the contextual clues. Hope this helps and thanks for the mod!

Good luck in the search! EDIT: By the way, the disguise will continue to work in exactly the same manner outside of the quest if you ever feel the need to use it in the future. LordofLurking Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Hello again, but unfortunately with a little bit of a snare here. I found the temple with Lilly and actually completed the overarching quest, but instead of her follower package shutting down she just continues to follow my PC. For example, even though she was supposed to stay behind in the temple while I went on a recruitment drive she followed. Furthermore after traveling across the province via carriage, Lilly is still following. So yeah, quest shut down and I hit all the triggers from Markarth to Solitude, but unlike Rogen Lilly’s decided to stick it out.

It's been working fine for me, but one other person reported the same issue. In the meantime, try clicking on Lilly in the console and typing "EVP" to get her to reevaluate her packages. Next, I would try to "disable" her in the console, and then "enable" her. If that doesn't work, you'll have to disable her. Or, you could try reloading a save before the recruitment quest to try it again and see if it is just some random bug.

But if you want to increase fame spread, I would increase the "Base Prob Contage" from the default (10% I think) to something like 30%. I think leaving the "Min to Contage" at 15 makes sense, so that lesser fame doesn't spread. Otherwise, you can decrease the "Morbosity Required" on a location-by-location basis, which would make the location more receptive to rumors. I usually only bother for the five big cities. But I do set the general fame decay amount at -0, so that people don't forget PC fame.
