Real-Time Body Physics (DirectX 11)

Might as well get everyone up to date. RTBP v0.4-p7 has been released, along with the latest builds of the GUI Tools. No major changes, just some refining and improvements. See the change log for further details.

Some problems still exist. ReShade still isn't working and the butt is still a bit frumpy, but somewhat improved as far as I can tell. Those two issues are still my highest priorities and I'm hoping I can get them fixed before the next preview release.

Thanks for trying it out. Let me know if there are any problems.

Edit: Another big issue that's on my mind is the missing shadows issue. This is another entry on my todo list.

Hi, nice mod, but the default settings in the "RTBP" folder for the breasts are really bad, shaking so intensely it's like they're having a constant seizure. Of course I don't know if it's only in my case or common for everyone, maybe you guys could provide better options to change in the file.

I used in-game recorder and for some reason the quality is the worst , but I hope you'll be able to see the display of what I described.

Whoops, I accidentally left the experimental angular physics enabled by default. That's what was causing the shaking. The problem is fixed now, please redownload.

For me the latest version of rtb works poorly, if in stock the chest movement does not occur at all if you use test mode 1 and 3 physics appears but it works poorly, I return to previous versions.

This last update seems to go the opposite direction for the butts. the wicked whims default has no physics now, and has warped shape. And now most of the other butt meshes also have warped shapes, and no physics as well. I'm gonna put the last .dll back in for now and await the next update.

Thank you for always working on this. Everyone loves bouncing bewbs and booties!

Whoops! Noticed another little bug. Please re-re download. Sorry about that.

I've also made the physics more like the previous version. Let me know if you approve.

I installed the corrected version, there is a note about it.

Butt physics does not work without clothes, it can be tested along the X Y and Z axes, but it does not work in motion.

Breast physics works with a naked sim in CAS, but in the game it only works with clothes on, if you take off clothes the physics does not work.

P.S. Is it possible to make rtpp remember a specific Sim and apply physics settings specifically to him? If this could be done, then each character would be individual.

I used the RTBP Commander's Uninstall wizard and it deleted everything for me. Saves, Tray, Mods, the entire game really...and looking through my recycle bin I am unable to restore.

EDIT: This is from the new RTBP Commander that was uploaded yesterday.

I downloaded the mod and ever since I did my sim wouldn't go fully naked (I have wicked whims installed) , in CAS she can take off her pants but not her top, as far as I know I dont have any conflicting mods but either way I'll check through them again, but if you have any idea what could be causing this I'd be thankful to hear it

It did?! Oh, shoot, I am so sorry! There must have been something I missed, some little mistake I made. I'll try to figure out why that happened tonight and upload a new version of the Installer.

Once again, I'm really, really sorry that happened to you. Fuck, I feel terrible about this.

Don't be. I just redownloaded the game last week so it's not a big deal at all. I just wanted to let you know immediately before it happens to someone else.

Whew! That's good to hear. Anyway, I found the problem and now the correct files are removed. I did place the wrong path in one place that would erase the entire TS4 directory in my documents (horribly sorry about that). The new version of the RTBP GUI tools has been uploaded.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention so quickly and I'm glad that no serious damage was done. I'll be more careful in the future and do more testing as well.

I've just added a couple new debug flags to the current release of RTBP: "testAltButtPhysics1" and "testAltButtPhysics2". Alt. butt physics 2 looks promising. I'd love some feedback. Thanks!

Probably the best version of all. To make breasts work Set the default version of breasts in WW body settings. The butt physics are not perfect, but they are clearly better than anything that came before.

Is it possible to make the physics different for different Sims? Each Sim has their own settings.

Here's an update:

Currently Working with ReShade and Gshade enabled (6.0.0)

(My Experience with ReShade & Gshade already installed)

Following Steps 1-3 in README installation file.

*Do not follow reshade step*

To use ReShade with RTBP, rename the ReShade "d3d9.dll" DLL to "reshade.dll" and place it in the same directory as your settings file ("[MY_DOCUMENTS]\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\RTBP\").

My provided settings improve the "shape" of most of the breasts, current settings.ini provided appears saggy. (replace installed settings.ini with one below)

Issues:

1. ) Butt still appears to have been karate chopped from the top. (there's already images of this posted)

2. ) When nude sims hug butt meshes go crazy.

3. ) Walking downstairs nude creates crazy physics as well.

Shoutout to the mod author to have put in so much work to get this mod working again 😀

So ReShade is working again? Can anyone else confirm this? If so, was the solution just putting it back in the bin folder? If that's the case, I'll remove the other folder location option.

In case anyone is wondering, RTBP will look for "reshade.dll", "ReShade64.dll", and "GShade64.dll" in "...\[MY_DOCUMENTS]\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\RTBP\" and "...\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\". It will use the first one of these it finds.

Hmmm... Could I take a peek at your log file? That might help me out. Thanks.

Only steps 1-3 were needed.  The step about ReShade wasn’t necessary, I did have ReShade & Gshade installed BEFORE installing RTBP

Hi I used the RTBP commander to uninstall RTBP which successfully uninstalled it.

But since then, I lost the ability to interact with my sim or other npc sims.

I can hover over them but if I click them, no interaction/pie menu pops up.

The menu pops up for all objects but not any sims.

This issue only happens when script mods are enabled.

When script mods are disabled, then I can interact with sims.

Any advice on troubleshooting this issue?

I've reinstalled the whole game and the issue still persists.

TIA

Maybe the RTBP Mod didn't get removed for some reason? Check your mods folder and make sure the "RTBP Mod" folder isn't there.

Edit: That's going to be in "[MY_DOCUMENTS]\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\". Completely delete the folder "RTBP Mod" if it exists.
