Do I have to reinstall this each time Steam verifies/updates the game? Thanks

Actually not, since Steam only checks the original file and updates it if necessary. Additional files remain untouched.

Alright, I've repackaged and reuploaded RTBP v0.4-p3 with the new DLL that seems to work for everyone. Also, I may have fixed the "tail" issue. Please let me know. Thanks.

Real-Time Body Physics 3.36 MB · 54,429 downloads

There's one issue I seem to be having, when I try to use the RTBP Commando thing, it keeps saying "Unable to connect to RTBP. Trying again in 10 seconds"

Yeah, for RTBP Commander to work, the Sims 4 has to be running with RTBP installed and permission to listen on TCP port 8008.

Ball physics not working -test x y z commands are not executed, does not respond to slider changes.Log.txt

I see what you mean. I did some testing and for some reason ball physics seem to work in CAS, but not during normal play. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I'll try and figure out what's going on. Thanks for the bug report.

In CAS any physics looks different than in the game.

This seems to work quite well for the most part, but I noticed three issues:

- In CAS, the butt occasionally was shifted (?) to the left. Not far, maybe two or three sims-fingers wide. This is only a minor issue as the butt behaved properly after a few clicks.

- Some women have small gaps above their boobs; its width changes with the boob jiggle so I guess the clothes' texture is just not stretched. I assume it happens with specific clothing, I've seen this on some women on Batuu

- Some/most (all?) Sims that would get physics (i.e. teens and up) lose their shadow in exchange; only the head (and hand-held objects) still have a shadow. I didn't do extensive testing, I'm sure I saw one adult sim with shadow, but most are without.

Setting "enableBallsPhysics" to "false" does not actually disable balls physics in game.

Whoops! You're absolutely right! Sorry about that. For some reason I forgot to check if ball physics were enabled in the settings before creating ball physics simulators. Attached is a build of the "d3d9.dll" file that should fix the problem. It's nearly identical to "RTBP v0.4-p3", but the fix has been applied and the "maxLength" setting has been removed ("maxLength" is no longer needed since we now have the "(min|max)(X|Y|Z)" settings).

Hmmm... ok. I may have put a wrong number into one of my butt physics constants (heh, heh... "Butt Physics Constants". Good name for a rock band). I'll take a look at them and see if I can figure out what's going on.

I'll look into this. I do have the Star Wars expansion, but I haven't tested the clothing with RTBP very extensively.

Oh, I wasn't aware that that was happening, but upon testing I see it now. I think I know what I need to do to correct this. I need to detect when the Sims 4 is rendering it's shadow maps and apply the physics offset matrices to those too. For some reason I didn't think of this...

Anyway, thanks for the heads up, hopefully I'll have a fix for this in the next preview release.

Eggs still don't work.

The DLL I shared with eefreef only included a minor fix, specific to their issue.

The eggs will be done soon. The hash browns, however, will take a little more time. Now remind me, did you want the soup or salad?

I'm sorry, I'm just kidding. I'm still working on fixing the testicle physics.

Where I live they call eggs not only what they put in a salad.

P.S. Now you know a little more about this huge world around us. ?

Why can't I run the game after using this mod? "Application cannot be started (0xc0000005)" is displayed. When I delete “d3d9.dll”, I can run the game. What should I do? Now,my game version is 1.84.197.1030. I can use this mod in previous versions.

I'm not certain why this happens to some people. Reinstalling DirectX has worked for a couple people, I'd suggest trying that.

the physics work in cas but dont work in game, when i "test" or "forcetest" the ui stops working and the game wont let me quit or go to edit world.

Hmmm... Do you have a log file? I might be able to figure out what's going on with that info.

Good to hear! I'm sorry this happens for some people. I'm not sure what the problem is exactly, but reinstalling DirectX seems to do the trick. Enjoy RTBP.

When i click a certain sock in cas the whole game freezes its the weirdest thing?

Which sock is it? Is it custom content or does it come with the game? If it's custom, could you share the mod with me? I might be able to figure out why this is happening.

I fixed it by re downloading the file sorry for the trouble but i am having balls twitching like crazy and stretching out when unpaused

Could you post your log file? With that information, I might be able to figure out what's going on. Thanks.
