Hmmm... Do you know the specs of your computer? The Sims 4 with RTBP installed might struggle a bit on an older or lighter computer.

Try downloading and installing the latest Microsoft C++ Redistributable. That may fix the problem. Any error information, log files, etc. you have would be very helpful.

Sorry it isn't working for you, out of the box. You're not the only one that's had this problem. I'm trying to get to the bottom of it. Any information you can provide would be helpful. Thanks.

Hey I've sent you a message with the info so I don't clog up the comments :)

My PC should be able to handle it so I don't think its to do with that.

Hello! Will this work with any body and texture replacer? Any compatibility issues with anything?

Edit: Sorry one more thing. Will this have issues with animations that simulate breast bounce by animating the breasts?

no special think it just adds more jiggle to the anims... and it may not work with some custom body

I also have DX12 so I've installed DX9 just for this mod. However, the same error remains:

Extracting RTBP ZIP to a temporary directory...

Files extracted successfully.

Backing up Settings.ini file if it exists...

Backing up file ""D:\\Games\\The Sims 4\\Game\\Bin\\RTBP\\Settings.ini"" to ""D:\\Games\\The Sims 4\\Game\\Bin\\RTBP\\Settings.ini.old""...

Backup failed. Source file doesn't exist.

Installing DLL and related files...

Moving ""C:\\Users\\xxx\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\d3d9.dll"" to ""D:\\Games\\The Sims 4\\Game\\Bin\\d3d9.dll""

Installer failed!: filesystem error: cannot rename: No such file or directory [C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Temp\d3d9.dll] [D:\Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\d3d9.dll]

I'm having the exact same issue. When reading the text, the computer is looking for d3d9.dll. In the newest version there's no README.html or d3d9.dll files in the zip file, I assume this is a modder error?

Of course these files are available in the zip archive. Don't spread such nonsense.

Stumped - hate to ask but I am trying to uninstall RTBP as there's too much clipping, jiggling and clothing looks distorted.  So I removed the RTBP folder as well as the dl file from the Bin directory and it's still showing up in my game during load up.  I also tried using the Uninstaller and that didn't work.  I saw that someone else suggested to look to see if you have the game installed twice in another directory so I checked that I didnt see anything.  I even renamed the settings.ini.old back to settings.ini in hopes that would fix things.  Still nothing.  Any ideas?

Thnx.

...ok? Where's the zip archive then? I'm not trying to "spread nonsense" I'm just genuinely confused on how to install the mod.

Very top in OP, linked as "View File". Not sure what file you downloaded, but I agree that the link is pretty easily missed.

You are here in the support of the mod.
The link to the download page is on the first page - as always with LL.

And here are the 2 points for the installation directly from the Readme.hml.
Please note Step 3 is only necessary when using ReShade.
To be honest - even my granddaughter can do it and she is only 6 years old.

Installation

1. Move "d3d9.dll", and "RTBP" to your Sims 4 installation directory + "Game/Bin/". It should be in the same directory as "TS4_x64.exe". Currently, this mod only works with the 64 bit version of The Sims 4.

2. Copy the folder "RTBP Mod" to your documents + "Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods/".

3. To use ReShade with RTBP, rename the ReShade "d3d9.dll" DLL to "reshade.dll" and place it in the same directory as "TS4_x64.exe".

Now that is odd. If the DLL is gone, RTBP is effectively uninstalled. I wonder if it's still in memory or something? Try restarting your computer and see if that does anything.

That's a bummer I'm thinking about trying out this mod but now I'm a little hesitant. I don't mind the occasional clipping or graphical glitching but seeing as how this mod works pretty much all the time I'm worried I'm gonna be seeing too much of it and become annoying. Have you had any luck removing it from your game yet?

The mod works perfectly. If there are problems - or too much jiggling - simply use the RTBP Commander (a UI for setting the physics) and simply disable the physics there.
If you are not sure, you can install the mod and just start a new test game. ;)

Oh the computer has been reset many times thus far.  DL file is gone from the Bin, but each time I fire up Sims I still see the RTBP logo pop up during loading and you can tell that the physics are still off.  Used the uninstaller, as well as manually looked... still scratching my head trying to figure this out.

This mod works great for me. The only problem is that the breasts become smaller and lower. I have 102 sims. I would have to redo all the breasts of my sims so that it looks like before.

And the testicles don't work for me. I use cmar for boobs and pornstar cock for penises.

I don't know about smaller, but I have noticed the breasts hanging lower. I guess that's the power of gravity for you, lol.

That is very odd... The only advice I have to offer you is to make absolutely sure you have your Sims 4 installation directory correct. Deleting the "d3d9.dll" should uninstall RTBP. I don't really see how it could persist after deleting the DLL, unless you have the wrong directory.

Possible installation directories could be:

* C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\
* C:\Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\

If you have multiple hard drives, you might try searching them, too. Sorry I can't be more helpful. I might just add an uninstall command to RTBP to completely automate this in the next release.

Yes, that's likely the gravity. You could try setting the "gravity" variable to "0.0" or lowering the "mass" variable. Or increasing the "springK" variable.

It's a delicate balance. I suggest playing around with RTBP Commander until you find something you like.

I don't know if this issue has been reported but here it is. It causes weird glitching on some clothing items also where exactly do I put the RTBP Commander executable? I can't make it work.

Yeah, this is a known problem. I think I might have fixed it in my working version of RTBP. I'll release the next preview release of RTBP soon.

RTBP Commander can be executed from anywhere. Just extract it and run the ".exe" file.

That's great! I'm gonna wait for the new release before I try again because my sim's neighbors keep showing up with wonky shoulders and abdomens.

Also I keep getting this error when using RTBP Commander. Is there something I'm missing?

I moved "d3d9.dll", and "RTBP" into my programs C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin and I copied "RTBP Mod" into my mod folder and i renamed the d3d9.dll file to reshade.dll, still it does not work, I removed all my other mods and started the game but it still did not work at all. Any idea on what i did wrong? ( i have no difference at all exept that my game loads a bit longer.)

The Sims 4 has to be running for RTBP Commander to work. If it fails to connect to RTBP for one reason or another, it'll try again in 10 seconds.

I suggest you just start the Sims first, Alt+Tab out, then start RTBP Commander.
